Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Druckgasquelle (1) für manuelle Handhabung mit einem einstückig fliessgepressten Metallbehälter (2) aus Aluminium mit einem Füllvolumen bis maximal 2000 ccm, einer Entnahmeöffnung für verdampfte Brenngase und einer Füllung ("F") mit einem flüssigen aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoff. Zur Lösung der Aufgabe, einen tragfähigen Kompromiss zwischen dem Berstdruck des Metallbehälters, den Sicherheitsvorschriften, der Flammentemperatur und den Herstellkosten anzugeben, wird erfindungsgemäss vorgeschlagen, dass
a) der Metallbehälter (2) aus Aluminium mit einem Reinheitsgrad von mindestens 95 Gew.-%, einer Wanddicke ("dw") zwischen 0,6 und 1,5 mm und einem Berstdruck zwischen 40 und 80 bar besteht,
b) der äussere Durchmesser des Zylinderabschnitts (3) zwischen 70 und 120 mm beträgt,
c) die Füllung ("F") mindestens 95 Gew.-% Propan enthält,
d) der Metallbehälter (2) einen Zylinderabschnitt (3) und einen kalottenförmigen Halsabschnitt (4) aufweist, in deren Achse (A-A) ein Entnahmeventil angeordnet ist,
e) der Halsabschnitt (4) zum Ansetzen eines Gasbrenners ausgebildet ist.

The invention relates to a compressed gas source (1) for manual handling with an integrally flow-pressed metal container (2) made of aluminum with a filling volume of up to 2000 cc, a discharge opening for vaporized fuel gases and a filling ("F") with a liquid aliphatic hydrocarbon. To solve the problem of specifying a workable compromise between the bursting pressure of the metal container, the safety regulations, the flame temperature and the manufacturing costs, it is proposed according to the invention that
a) the metal container (2) consists of aluminum with a purity of at least 95 wt .-%, a wall thickness ("dw") between 0.6 and 1.5 mm and a bursting pressure between 40 and 80 bar,
b) the outer diameter of the cylinder section (3) is between 70 and 120 mm,
c) the filling ("F") contains at least 95% by weight of propane,
d) the metal container (2) has a cylinder section (3) and a dome-shaped neck section (4), in the axis (AA) of which a removal valve is arranged,
e) the neck portion (4) is designed for attachment of a gas burner.
