Es besteht hier die Möglichkeit, dass sich der Minderhörende über das Nachlassen seines Hörvermögens nicht bewusst ist, daher auch die Gelegenheit einer neuen Optimierung seiner Hörgeräteeinstellung nicht wahrnimmt und sich letztlich allmählich von einer optimalen Versorgung durch sein Hörgerät entfernt.

  • Zu a): Bei der Gewöhnung an ein Hörsystem kann, sobald die oben genannte Auswerteeinheit dies veranlasst, selbsttätig die entsprechende, vorprogrammierte Akklimatisierungsstufe aktiviert werden. Alternativ kann das entsprechende Hörgerät aber auch die Verstärkung des Hörgeräts nachregulieren, so dass der Minderhörende den Lautstärkesteller immer in demselben Einstellbereich halten wird.
  • Zu b): Bei langfristig nachlassendem Hörvermögen wird beispielsweise auf Veranlassung der Auswerteeinheit ein akustisches Erkennungssignal ausgegeben oder eine Nachricht an eine intelligente Fernsteuerung, ein Smartphone oder anderes System gesendet, das daraufhin den Minderhörenden mit einem Text oder anderem Audio- und/oder visuellem Feedback auf sein nachlassendes Hörvermögen hinweist oder den Besuch bei einem Spezialisten empfiehlt.
