Description

CURTAIN DOOR LIFT BY WINDING WITH IMPROVED SIDE SEALING. The present invention relates to a seal and a curtain door that can be lifted by winding with improved lateral sealing. Certain industrial activities, for example in the pharmaceutical, agrifood or electronic fields, must be carried out in rooms with controlled atmosphere, the quality of which has a direct influence on the quality of the products or of the operations which take place there. These rooms are generally overpressure to prevent pollutants from entering inside them. It is of course necessary to access these rooms through openings or openings which are closed by doors. These doors can be doors with a flexible curtain that can be lifted up by rolling up, which have the extreme advantage of being able to open and close a large opening very quickly. The speed of action, specific to these doors, turns out to be extremely precious in that they allow the opening time to be minimized. One problem, which is not however completely satisfactorily resolved by these doors, is that of their lateral tightness when they are in the closed position. Indeed, we frequently observe, in rooms maintained at overpressure, a leakage rate which occurs at the lateral edges of the curtain. It has certainly been thought to directly equip the lateral edges of the curtain with sealing elements which rub against the side rails of the door, as can be shown in document EP 623 731. A major drawback of this sealing embodiment is that, during the winding and unwinding of the curtain, the sealing elements rub against the slides and eventually wear out. This has doubly harmful consequences. On the one hand, it is necessary to replace the worn sealing elements which no longer ensure their function. However, these are generally welded to the side edges of the curtain, it is necessary to dismantle the curtain of the door, place it on the floor, unsolder the worn side seals, reweld new side seals, then replace the curtain on a door winding shaft. All these operations are therefore long and then render the room inoperative, since, before these operations, the curtain is dismantled and does not perform any closing function. On the other hand, the friction of the sealing elements on the door jambs, produces particles which pollute the room whose access is controlled by the door. The object of the invention is to solve the numerous drawbacks of the prior art and, more particularly, is to provide a lateral seal for a door with a curtain which can be lifted up by winding, which guarantees a low leakage rate, while being easy to put on. in place and replace. In a manner known per se, the door comprises: - two lateral uprights each having a slide delimited by two wings, - a transverse element connecting the upper ends of the lateral uprights, - a flexible curtain having lateral edges engaging in each of the slides, and - means for winding the curtain in an open position of the door. According to the invention, each of the slides is equipped with a sealing profile having a bottom wall and two side walls substantially forming a U each of the side walls coming to bear against the wing which is adjacent to it. To complete the seal and prevent the accumulation of organic or mineral pollutants, each side wall of the seal profile is of such a size that it comes to bear against the flange of the slide which is adjacent to it. Advantageously, each of the side walls is provided with at least one lip which can come into contact with a lateral edge of the curtain. According to an advantageous characteristic of the door, the curtain has a continuous and flattened lateral border obtained by high welding frequency. This arrangement makes it possible to create a linear contact between the curtain and the sealing profile. Preferably, each of the side walls and each lip are tapered at their ends so as to be very flexible. According to an embodiment at the upper end of each upright, a guide head has a U-section having a bottom wall and two side walls, each side wall being provided with a guide rib, the head guide being positioned in the extension of each sealing profile. For a good understanding, the invention is described with reference to the attached drawing representing, by way of nonlimiting example, an embodiment of a door according to it. Figure 1 shows a door in perspective, Figure 2 is a couple view along ll-ll of Figure 1, Figure 3 is a couple view along lll-lll of Figure 1, Figure 4 is a top view of the upright, Figure 5 is an exploded perspective view of the upper part of a door jamb. Referring first to Figure 1, we can see that the door has two side uprights 2 which border an opening in a partition. A console 3 is placed at the upper end of each upright. These two brackets 3 which support a shaft, in the example shown, is masked by a transverse casing 4. A curtain 5 is fixed on the shaft. The curtain 5 consists of horizontal widths of flexible material, welded end to end. We also note that the curtain 5 has stiffening bars 6. As can be seen in Figure 2 which shows an upright 2 in cross section, it has on its face facing the curtain 5, two wings 8 delimiting between them a slide 9. Depending on the case, the wings 8 delimiting the slide 9 can be an integral part of the uprights 2 for example in the case of extruded uprights as can be seen in the drawing. In other embodiments, these wings can also be attached to the uprights 2. Each lateral edge of the curtain 5 is inserted in the slide 9 which is adjacent to it. The essential characteristic of the door according to the invention is that a sealing profile 7 is placed in the bottom of each slide 9. The sealing profile 7 has a bottom wall 10 and two side walls 11 forming a U Each side wall 1 1 bears against the wing 8 which is adjacent to it. It is also noted that the faces of each of the side walls 1 1 facing each other are provided with a lip 12. As can be seen in Figure 2, each lip 12 as well as the ends of each side walls 1 1 are tapered so as to be very flexible. The sealing profile 7 is fixed inside the slide 9 by gluing its bottom wall 10 against the bottom wall of the slide 9. With regard to the curtain 5, a special feature of it is that 'It has a continuous and flattened side edge 14 formed by high frequency welding. Figure 4 shows the upper part of the uprights 2 of the door. It can be seen in this figure that a guide head 15 is placed in the slide 9 in the extension of the sealing profile 7. The guide head 1 5 is a molded plastic element having a U-section having a wall bottom 17 and two side walls 18. Figure 5 shows that, in addition, each side wall 1 1 of the head is equipped with a rib 19. The door operates in a conventional manner, that is to say by winding curtain 5 on the axis to allow to pass through the door and by rolling curtain 5 to obtain the closing of the door. In the case where the door provides access to a room which is overpressure, this door is subjected to pressure over the entire surface of its curtain 5 when it is in the closed position. The lateral edges of the curtain 5 then come, under the effect of the pressure, to be pressed against one of the lips 12 of the sealing profile 7 along the face of the curtain 5 subjected to an overpressure. In the upper part of the uprights 2, the edges of the curtain 5 bear against the ribs of the guide head 15. A very low leakage rate is then observed through the lateral edges of the curtain 5. The seal created by the profile is then essentially static. During the winding of the curtain 5, it is no longer subjected to any pressure, due to the massive leakage rate which occurs at the threshold bar of the curtain 5. The lateral edges of the curtain 5 do not are therefore more pressing against the lips 12. Thus, there is only a minimum friction between the curtain 5 and the sealing profile 7, which has the advantage of a very long service life of the profile and less formation debris from friction. However, there is wear of the profile. When it no longer performs its functions, its replacement is extremely easy since it suffices to raise the curtain 5, to take off the used profile then to replace a new profile in the slides 9. This operation can be done in a very short time. reduced and by maintenance personnel without specific qualifications. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above by way of example, but on the contrary embraces all of the embodiments.
