Description

    Domaine de l'invention
  • L'invention se situe dans le domaine du repassage et plus précisément celui des fers à repasser munis de capteurs permettant de détecter divers paramètres tels que la température ou la présence d'un utilisateur. L'invention concerne en particulier les systèmes de repassage qui comprennent un fer à repasser, une surface de repassage, un ventilateur disposé sous la surface de repassage de manière à exercer une action de soufflerie et/ou d'aspiration sur un tissu disposé sur la surface de repassage. L'activation du ventilateur étant commandée au niveau du fer.
  • Etat de la technique
  • Un système de repassage tel que décrit précédemment est décrit dans le brevet européen EP 0 750 066 B1.
    On connaît par ailleurs des fers à repasser munis de capteurs permettant de détecter divers paramètres. A titre d'exemple, on peut citer la demande de brevet européen EP 0 390 264 A1 qui décrit un détecteur de mouvement. Lorsque celui-ci est désactivé, c'est-à-dire lorsque le fer est au repos, la production de vapeur cesse. WO 8203520 A1 décrit un fer à repasser comprenant un détecteur d'usage prenant la forme d'une jauge de contrainte.
  • Exposé général de l'invention
  • Un des problèmes que la présente invention se propose de résoudre réside dans la possibilité de détecter des déplacements du fer avec un très bon niveau de fiabilité.
  • Dans l'invention, la solution du problème précité consiste à placer sur la poignée du fer deux jauges de contrainte. La première jauge de contrainte devant être disposée selon une direction sensiblement parallèle au plan défini par la semelle alors que la deuxième jauge de contrainte doit être disposée selon une direction formant un angle aigu avec le plan défini par la semelle, ledit angle étant ouvert vers l'avant du fer.
  • En disposant les jauges de contrainte de cette manière, tout déplacement du fer induit l'activation d'au moins une jauge de contrainte.
  • Dans un mode de réalisation de l'invention, la poignée est rendue plus flexible à l'endroit où se trouvent les jauges de contrainte. De la sorte, la détection des mouvements du fer est améliorée.
  • Dans un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention, le fer est utilisé avec un système de soufflerie/aspiration.
  • Avantageusement, le système comporte un générateur de vapeur relié à au moins une jauge.
  • Dans une configuration particulièrement intéressante, la ventilation démarre dès qu'on saisit le fer et la vapeur est produite seulement lorsque le fer avance.
    Par production de vapeur, on entend soit la génération de vapeur au niveau d'un générateur de vapeur, soit la sortie de vapeur au niveau de la semelle du fer.
  • Exposé détaillé de l'invention
  • L'invention est décrite plus en détail ci-après au moyen d'un exemple illustré par une figure.
  • Celle-ci représente un fer à repasser comprenant une semelle 2 et une poignée 1. Sur sa partie horizontale, la poignée 1 comporte une zone de plus grande flexibilité 5 sur laquelle est disposée une première jauge de contrainte 3.
    Une autre zone de plus grande flexibilité 6 est disposée dans la partie verticale arrière de la poignée 9. Une deuxième jauge de contrainte 4 étant disposée sur cette autre zone 6, ces deux éléments étant disposés selon une direction formant un angle aigu avec le plan de la semelle 2. L'angle étant ouvert vers l'avant du fer. Les deux jauges 3,4 sont reliées à une électronique 7 disposée sur une partie horizontale de la poignée. L'électronique 7 est quant à elle reliée à un ventilateur (non-illustré) et, accessoirement, à un générateur de vapeur (non-illustré).
  • Les deux jauges 3,4 peuvent détecter n'importe quel déplacement du fer.
    Avantageusement, dès que déplacement est détecté, le ventilateur s'enclenche.
    La deuxième jauge 4 peut détecter des déplacements selon un plan parallèle à celui défini par la semelle 2 (plan de repassage).
    Selon une variante intéressante de l'invention, la deuxième jauge 4 peut être reliée a un générateur de vapeur de manière à ce que de la vapeur soit produite lorsque le fer avance mais cesse si le fer se déplace dans une autre direction.
    La première jauge de contrainte 3 et l'électronique 7 sont disposées à l'intérieur d'un manchon 8 alors que la deuxième jauge de contrainte 4 est disposée à l'intérieur d'un bloc de matière plastique 9.
  • A noter que les jauges de contrainte peuvent agir en combinaison.
    Par ailleurs, elles peuvent commander simultanément la ventilation et la génération de vapeur.
  • II est également possible de munir le fer de boutons permettant de commander manuellement la ventilation, la génération de vapeur ou tout autre fonctionnalité du fer. En outre, les boutons peuvent également activer/désactiver le fonctionnement des jauges.
  • Il va de soi que l'invention ne se limite pas aux exemples précités. On a décrit la possibilité de relier les jauges de contrainte avec le ventilateur ou le générateur. Il est évident qu'elles peuvent être reliées à d'autres éléments, p.ex. le chauffage de la semelle.

Claims (8)

  1. Fer à repasser comprenant une semelle (2) et une poignée (1), caractérisé en ce que ladite poignée (1) comporte une première jauge de contrainte (3) disposée selon une direction sensiblement parallèle au plan défini par la semelle (2) et une deuxième jauge de contrainte (4) disposée selon une direction formant un angle aigu avec le plan défini par la semelle (2), ledit angle étant ouvert vers l'avant du fer, de manière à ce qu'un déplacement quelconque du fer induise l'activation d'au moins une desdites jauges de contraintes (3,4).
  2. Fer à repasser selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que la poignée (1) présente des zones de plus grande flexibilité (5,6) aux endroits où sont disposées les jauges de contrainte (3,4).
  3. Système de repassage comprenant :
    - un fer à repasser,
    - une surface de repassage,
    - un ventilateur disposé sous la surface de repassage de manière à exercer une action de soufflerie et/ou d'aspiration sur un tissu disposé sur la surface de repassage,
    le ventilateur étant relié électriquement au fer,
    caractérisé en ce que le fer est tel que décrit à la revendication 1 ou 2,
    chacune desdites jauges de contrainte (3,4) étant reliée au ventilateur de manière à ce que l'activation d'au moins une jauge (3,4) induise l'enclenchement du ventilateur.
  4. Système de repassage selon la revendication précédente comprenant en outre un générateur de vapeur relié électriquement ainsi que par un tuyau conduisant la vapeur au fer, ladite deuxième jauge de contrainte (4) étant reliée au dit générateur de manière à ce que son activation induise la production de vapeur.
  5. Système de repassage selon la revendication précédente caractérisé en ce que la deuxième jauge de contrainte (4) est adaptée de manière à autoriser la production de vapeur seulement lorsque le fer se déplace vers l'avant.
  6. Système de repassage selon la revendication 4 ou 5 caractérisé en ce que les deux jauges de contrainte (3,4) commandent simultanément la ventilation et la production de vapeur.
  7. Système de repassage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 4, 5 ou 6 caractérisé en le fer comprend au moins un bouton permettant de commander manuellement la ventilation, la génération de vapeur ou tout autre fonctionnalité du fer.
  8. Système de repassage selon la revendication précédente où ledit bouton est adapté pour activer/désactiver le fonctionnement des jauges de contrainte (3,4).
