Die Nut 5 kann auch der Form des Dichtrings 8 angepasst sein, so daß sie im Querschnitt halbkreisförmig oder teilweise oval sein kann. Auf dem Innenrand 9 ist ein Anschlag 21 für die Außenumfangsfläche 3 des Deckelgrundkörpers 2 angeordnet. Der Anschlag 21 befindet sich auf einer vom Tankinneren wegweisenden Seite des Dichtrings 8 und verläuft über die gesamte Umfangsfläche des Innenrandes 9. Der Anschlag 21 kann einstückig mit dem Innenrand 9 oder entsprechend mit der Außenumfangsfläche 3 oder als separates Teil mit entsprechender Befestigung ausgebildet sein. Der Anschlag 21 ist angrenzend an die Nut 5 derart ausgebildet, daß eine Seitenwand 25 des Anschlages 21, welche an dem Dichtring 8 anliegt, durch die Seitenwand 24 der Nut 5 gebildet ist. Der Anschlag 21 ist im Querschnitt halbtrapezförmig, wobei seine vom Tankinneren wegweisende Flanke 22 schräg abfallend verläuft. Durch den Anschlag 21 kommt die Außenumfangsfläche 3 nicht über ihre gesamte Fläche in Berührung mit dem Innenrand 9, so daß sich zwischen der Außenumfangsfläche 3 und dem Innenrand 9 ein Spalt 23 ausbildet, welcher vom Anschlag 21 wegweisend nach außen verläuft.
