Description

Device and machine for packaging various objects, in particular bouquets or flowerpots. The present invention relates to the packaging of various objects and in particular bouquets of flowers or flowerpots. The invention relates more precisely to a device for packaging such objects. The invention further relates to a machine for continuously packaging objects, in particular bouquets or flowerpots. Bouquets of flowers can come in various forms. Either the foot of the stems is introduced into a vase or a pot. Either the stems are pricked in a stopper which allows the bouquet to stand upright. Either the flowers are planted in a pot filled with soil. The bouquet can also be devoid of any holding element. To pack these bouquets or flowerpots, we put them on a sheet of paper or plastic, we fold the sheet towards the flowers, then we form a link for example by means of an elastic band, above the pot, of the vase or the stopper. These operations are tedious and can be poorly performed by clumsy personnel. The object of the present invention is to provide a device and a machine making it possible to facilitate the packaging of various objects and in particular bouquets or flowerpots while improving the quality of these packaging. The invention also relates to a device for implementing the method according to the invention, characterized in that it comprises a flat surface comprising an opening, this flat surface being capable of receiving a packaging sheet, and a pad located in the axis of said opening, this pad or this opening being movable relative to each other between a position in which the pad is spaced from the opening and a position in which this pad is engaged in this opening, so as to create said pocket. According to a second aspect of the invention, the machine for continuously packaging objects, in particular bouquets or flowerpots, comprises several devices according to the invention, arranged one after the other. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description below. In the appended drawings given by way of nonlimiting examples: - Figures 1 to 7 schematically show in section the main packaging steps performed using a device according to the invention; - Figure 8 shows in perspective a packaging device according to the invention; - Figures 9 to 12 show in perspective a device according to the invention in different phases of its operation; - Figure 13 shows schematically in section a variant of the method according to the invention; - Figures 14 and 15 show in perspective the machine according to the invention in two phases of its operation. Referring to Figures 1 to 7, the method implemented by the device according to the invention comprises the following steps. In a first step (see Figure 2), a packaging sheet 2 is placed above an opening 3 created on a flat surface 4. In a second step (see Figure 3), the sheet 2 is pressed into the 'opening 3 to form in this sheet a pocket 5 extending under said opening 3. Then place (see Figure 6) the bouquet of flowers 1 in the pocket 5. In a subsequent step (see Figure 6 or 7) we realize a tie around the wrapping sheet 2 above and / or around the pot or bouquet of flowers 1 to clamp the wrapping sheet 2 against the stems of the bouquet. In the example shown, the bouquet of flowers 1 is introduced into the opening 3. In a variant, the opening 3 is moved to the bouquet of flowers 1. In the example illustrated by FIGS. 1 to 7, the pocket 5 is formed by introducing a tampon 6 into the covered opening 3 by the packaging sheet 2. In a variant illustrated in FIG. 13, the pocket 5 is formed by creating a depression under the packaging sheet 2 between it and a plate 7 which is pulled down. In another variant, not shown, the pocket 5 is formed by creating a depression in a closed chamber located under the opening 3 covered by the packaging sheet 2. Preferably, before the binding step, we introduce in opening 3 to bring water to the flowers. FIG. 3, on the other hand, shows that a surface 8 forming an abutment is created under the opening 3 to limit the displacement travel of the pad 6. We will now describe with reference to FIGS. implementation of the process which has just been described. This device comprises: - a flat surface 4 having an opening 3, this flat surface being able to receive a packaging sheet; a buffer 6 movable between a position (see FIG. 9) spaced from the opening 3 and a position (see FIGS. 10 and 11) in which this buffer 6 is engaged in this opening 3. According to the invention, the device comprises plus a ring 9 (FIG. 8) comprising two parts 9a, 9b movable between a position in which the two parts 9a, 9b form a continuous ring and a position in which these parts 9a, 9b define between them a restricted space 9c capable of tightening the packaging sheet before applying the link. The device further comprises, under the opening 3, a surface 8 forming a stop, located at a distance from this opening 3 equal to the depth of the pocket that is to be made in the packaging sheet. In the example illustrated by FIGS. 9 to 12, the ring 9 is movable between a position (see FIG. 9 and 10) in which the opening 3 surrounds the ring 9 and a position in which (see FIGS. 11 and 12 ) this ring 9 is located above the opening 3.
