Abstract

The invention relates to a device for packaging different objects, in particular bouquets of flowers. The inventive device is characterised in that it consists of: a flat surface (4) which comprises an opening (3) and which can receive a packaging film (2); a plug element (6) which is disposed in the axis of the opening, whereby either the plug or the opening can move in relation to the other between a position in which the plug is disposed at a distance from the opening and a position in which the plug (6) is inserted into the opening (3); and a ring (9) comprising at least two mobile parts (9a, 9b) which can move between a position in which they form a continuous ring and a position in which a restricted space is defined therebetween, which can be used to tighten the packaging film (2) prior to the formation of a link.

Description

Device and machine for packaging various articles, in particular bouquets or flower pots. The invention relates to the packaging of other products and in particular of flowers or flower pots. The invention relates more precisely a device for packaging such objects. The invention is also a machine for packaging continuous objects, especially bouquets or flower pots. Bouquets of flowers can be in various forms. Let the foot of rods is introduced into a vessel or a pot. Let the stems are stitched into a cap that allows the bouquet stand. Let the flowers are planted in a pot filled with soil. The bouquet can also be devoid of any holder. To pack these bouquets or flower pots, is placed on a paper or plastic sheet, the sheet is folded to the flowers and then forms a connection for example by means of an elastic, above the pot, the vessel or the cap. These operations are tedious and can be poorly executed by a clumsy staff. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device and a machine to facilitate the packaging of other products and in particular bouquets or flower pots while improving the quality of packaging. The invention also concerns a device for implementing the method according to the invention, characterized in that it comprises a flat surface having an opening, said flat surface being adapted to receive a wrapping sheet, and a buffer located in the axis of said opening, said buffer or said opening being movable relative to each other between a position in which the buffer is spaced from the opening and a position in which this buffer is engaged in this opening, so as to create said pocket. According to a second aspect of the invention, the machine for the continuous packing of articles, in particular bouquets or flower pots, comprises a plurality of devices according to the invention, arranged one following the other. Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the description below. To the accompanying drawings given as non-limiting examples: - Figures 1 to 7 show diagrammatically in section the main steps of wrapping carried out using a device according to the invention; - Figure 8 shows in perspective a packaging device according to the invention; - Figures 9 to 12 show in perspective a device according to the invention in different phases of its operation; - Figure 13 shows schematically in section a variant of the process according to the invention; - Figures 14 and 15 show in perspective the machine according to the invention in two phases of its operation. Referring to Figures 1 to 7, the method implemented by the device according to the invention comprises the following steps. In a first step (see Figure 2), is placed a wrapping sheet 2 over an opening 3 formed on a flat surface 4. In a second step (see Figure 3), the sheet 2 is pressed in opening 3 to form in the sheet a pocket 5 extending under said opening 3 is then placed (see Figure 6) flowers 1 in the pocket 5. in a subsequent step (see Figure 6 or 7) is carried out a link around the wrapping sheet 2 above and / or around the pot or one bouquet for clamping the packaging sheet 2 against the stems of the bouquet. In the example shown, the one bouquet is inserted into the opening 3. Alternatively, the opening 3 is moved to the bunch of flowers 1. In the example illustrated by Figures 1 to 7, the pouch 5 is formed by introducing a buffer 6 in the aperture 3 covered with the packaging sheet 2. in a variant illustrated by Figure 13, the pocket 5 is formed by creating a depression under the wrapping sheet 2 between celle- thereof and a plate 7 which is drawn downwardly. In another variant, not shown, the pocket 5 is formed by creating a vacuum in a closed chamber below the opening 3 covered with the packaging sheet 2. Preferably, before the step of bonding is introduced to the water in the opening 3 to bring water to the flowers. Figure 3 shows the other hand, we created a surface 8 forming a stop in the opening 3 to limit the buffer displacement path 6. It will now be described with reference to Figures 8 to 12, the device for implementation of the method which has just been described. This device comprises: - a flat surface 4 having an opening 3, this flat surface being adapted to receive a wrapping sheet; - a mobile buffer 6 between a position (see Figure 9) spaced from the opening 3 and a position (see Figures 10 and 11) in which the lid 6 is engaged in this opening 3. According to the invention, the apparatus further comprises plus a ring 9 (Figure 8) comprising two parts 9a, 9b movable between a position in which the two parts 9a, 9b form a continuous ring and a position in which those portions 9a, 9b define therebetween a small space 9c adapted to clamp the packaging sheet before the application of the link. The device comprises on the other hand, under the opening 3, a surface 8 forming a stop, located at a distance from this opening 3 equal to the depth of the pocket that is to be achieved in the wrapping foil. In the example illustrated by Figures 9 to 12, the ring 9 is movable between a position (see Figure 9 and 10) wherein the opening 3 surrounds the ring 9 and a position in which (see Figures 11 and 12 ) this ring 9 is located above the opening 3. in the example shown in figures 9 to 12, the ring 9 is connected by rods 10 to a plate 8 forming spaced abutment ring 9 of a distance equal to the depth of the pocket that is to be achieved in the wrapping foil. The device as described above comprises means for automatically controlling in succession the following steps: - movement of the lid 6 (see Figures 9 and 10) towards the ring 9 covered by the wrapping sheet; - movement of the ring 9 (see Figure 11) to a position spaced from the opening 3 and an engaged position on the pad 6, to form the pocket in the wrapping foil; - after introduction of the flower pot, or clumps in the bag, control the water supply or other product to bring water or other product flowers; - displacement (see Figure 8) of the parts 9a, 9b of the ring 9 to the retracted position for clamping the sheet against the flower stalks; - implementation of an automatic binder to form a link on top of the portions 9a, 9b of the ring 9; - then control the inverse movement. Moving the lid 6 to the ring 9 can be controlled by means of a cylinder 11. The movement of the ring 9 may be controlled by a rod 12 connected to the plate 8, with a roller 13 cooperating with a ramp forming lifting cam (not shown). Figures 14 and 15 show a machine for continuously performing the successive wrapping flowers or the like pots. This machine comprises a plurality of devices according to the invention, arranged one following the other. In the example shown, the machine includes a carousel comprising a plate 13 rotatably mounted about a vertical axis, carrying a plurality of packaging devices 14 regularly distributed around the axis of rotation of the plate 13. The carousel has four following positions: - a first station a removal of the packaging sheet by an operator; - a second station B of embodiment of the pocket in the wrapping foil; - a third station C for removing the flower pot or bunch in said pocket by a second operator and optionally adding water or another product flowers; - a fourth automatic bonding station D packaging and possibly water or other product flower intake. The first position A is also a pot packed post recovery of flowers or bouquet, by the first operator. The first station comprises a means such as a pedal, operated by the first operator, for controlling the rotation of the carousel. The first station A can also comprise an imprint defining the location of removing the wrapping sheet. Above the turntable 13 are disposed the control actuator buffer 6 of the bag shaping in the packaging sheet, and an automatic binder. Below the rotary plate 13 is a fixed ramp forming a cam for controlling the lifting of the ring 9. Of course, the invention can be applied to packaging of objects other than bouquets or flower pots, such as Easter eggs, stuffed objects, gifts, toys, etc ...

Claims

1. Apparatus for packaging other products particularly bouquets of flowers, characterized in that it comprises: - a flat surface (4) having an opening (3), said planar surface (4) being adapted to receive a leaf packaging (2); - a buffer (6) located in the axis of said opening, said buffer or said opening being movable relative to each other between a position in which the buffer is spaced from the opening and a position in which it buffer (6) is engaged in this opening (3); - a ring (9) comprising at least two parts (9a, 9b) between a position in which these parts form a continuous ring and a position in which these parts define therebetween a small space adapted to clamp the wrapping sheet ( 2) before the formation of a link.
2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises below the opening (3) a surface forming an abutment (8) located at a distance from this opening (3) equal to the depth of the pocket (5) that is to be achieved in said sheet (2).
3. Device according to one of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said ring (9) is movable between a position in which the opening (3) surrounds the ring (9) and a position in which this ring (9 ) is located above said opening (3).
4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that said ring (9) is connected by rods (10) to a plate (8) forming said spaced abutment ring (9) by a distance equal to the depth of the pocket that is to be achieved in said sheet.

Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises means for automatically controlling in succession the following operations: - stamp displacement (6) to the ring (9), covered by the packaging sheet; - displacement of the ring (9) to a position spaced from the opening (3) and an engaged position on the pad (6) to form the pocket (5) in the sheet; - after insertion of the flower pot (l) or bunch in said pocket (5) controlling a water inlet to bring water to the flowers; - movement of the parts (9a, 9b) of the ring (9) towards the retracted position for clamping the sheet against the object to be packaged; - implementation of an automatic binder to form a link on top portions (9a, 9b) of the ring (9); - then control the inverse movement.
6. A machine for continuously performing the successive packaging articles, in particular flower pots, characterized in that it comprises several devices according to one of claims 1 to 5, arranged one following the other.

Machine according to claim 6, characterized in that it comprises a carousel comprising a plate (13) rotatably mounted and carrying a plurality of packing apparatuses regularly distributed around the axis of rotation of the plate (13), said carousel comprising the following four positions: - a first station (a) of removing the packaging sheet by an operator; - a second station (B) embodiment of the pocket in the wrapping foil; - a third station (C) removal of the object to be packaged into said bag by a second operator; - a fourth station (D) for automatically wrapping packaging and optionally adding water or another product, the first station (A) also being a collecting station of the packaged object by the first operator.
8. Machine according to Claim 7, characterized in that the first station (A) comprises an imprint defining the location of removal of the packaging and a control means sheet by the first operator, the rotation of the carousel.
