Definitions
- the invention relates to a riding / driving halter with a detent holster and jaw straps for fastening at least the detent holster and a bit on the horse's head.
- the DE 203 06 705 U1 discloses a bridle for a horse with a head piece, according to the preamble of claim 1, which rests behind the ears on the head of the horse and which holds at least one throat belt and / or at least one bit belt, the head piece facing on the ears of the horse has at least one ear associated with the recess.
- the DE 203 06 705 U1 further discloses a noseband which is defined by straight noseband to a neck piece.
- a riding / driving halter according to claim 1. It also includes jaw straps that run angled through a buckle.
- the riding / driving halter according to the invention can in principle be used for all mounts and riding animals (i.e., horses, donkeys, mules, etc.). However, within the scope of the application, without limitation of the invention, it is anticipated that it will be used on horses, as this is the main field of application.
- the invention therefore turns away from the Sperrhalfter set by laterally on the horse's head rectilinear cheek pieces in the horse's neck behind the ears. Rather, it pursues the principle of bending the jaw straps in the direction of the horse's neck so that a pulling force in the jaw straps is also directed towards the horse's neck. This has the consequence that the compressive force acting on the horse's neck instead of the flatter inclination corresponding to the course of the cheekpiece in the prior art receives a greater inclination in the direction of a vertical, so that the burden is taken away from the approach of the horse's ears on the neck
- the jaw straps are interconnected by a respectively acting at an angular point of the respective jaw belt lower jaw belt, which runs over the jaw muscles under the lower jaw bone of the horse, wherein the jaw straps are each angled at the angle by the lower jaw straps.
- the upper and the lower part of the jaw strap form at the angular point by the buckle with the lower jaw strap an angle which is preferably at a level approximately at the center of the zygomatic bone.
- the lock retainer and the lower jaw belt are connected to each other by a Kehlriemen between the lower jaw bone along the throat of the horse.
- the detent holster is preferably connected in a region slightly below the cheekbone with the jaw straps and in the throat cavity with the throat belt. From the connection of the lower jaw belt with the throat piece to the detent not only the force acting from the upper part of the shoe strap is directed towards horse neck, but also an optimal jaw clearance of the Horse guaranteed.
- the jaw clearance reduces pinching of the jaw angle with the locking noseband and improves the muzzle action, so that one has a better influence with the rider or hand on the horse's mouth.
- the jaw straps each consist of an upper jaw belt part and a lower jaw belt part, which are connected to each other at the angular point. This ensures that the upper and the lower jaw belt part do not turn up due to the bending, but remain flat on the horse's head.
- a continuous belt is used, on which the lower jaw belt part engages.
- the invention has in a particularly preferred embodiment, a neck piece on which the jaw straps are strapped. So you are held against each other immovable. This means that the bit can not be unintentionally unilaterally pulled out of the horse's mouth.
- On the previous countermeasures namely on washers on both sides of the horse's mouth or on a particularly firm buckling of the strap on which the bridle is attached, creating a further burden on the horse in the sensitive neck area can therefore be dispensed with.
- Due to the buckling of the upper jaw straps with the neck piece the small pull on the neck is distributed over a large area on the neck and the neck musculature approach - favored by the preferred width of the neck piece of more than 2.5 cm.
- the power from the buckle of the noseband acts in the direction of horse stance. This also follows an avoidance of irritation of the sensitive horse's back.
- the neck piece behind the ears of the horse has cutouts for the ears of a horse.
- the neck piece is padded behind the ears of the horse with a neck wedge and the flat part of the wedge tapers to the rear.
- the wedge-shaped pad of the neck piece additionally dampens the force acting on the neck piece from the cheek piece.
- the neck piece has, according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least two straps for attaching the locking retainer and a bridle and / or a curb, wherein the first straps for securing the cheek piece of a curb, the second strut for fixing a jaw piece of a Unter timesrense and the third strupter for fixing the baking belt is used.
- the invention can be used as a bridle with two straps on the neck piece, wherein the locking halter is usually used as a detent holster with puller strap, and the cheek piece is not connected to the detent holster.
- the invention can also be used as a double bridle.
- a neck piece with three struts is used.
- the first strut serves to buckle the cheek piece of the curb bit.
- the second strut is used to buckle the cheek piece of Unterightrense.
- the third swab is used to buckle the strap belt.
- the locking halter is then used without a puller belt.
- the browband fixes the bridle around the forehead to prevent the riding / driving halter from sliding back and forth.
- FIG. 1 On the in FIG. 1 shown horse head acupuncture points according to the above-quoted textbook of veterinary acupuncture by Erwin Westermeier (Bd II) are shown. All these points contribute a great deal to the mobility and health of the entire horse's body.
- the Fig.1 shows the accumulation of acupuncture points in the neck. Strong stimulation of the points by the riding / driving halter can lead to influences and disturbances of the organism within its sphere of influence and consequently to adverse reactions of the horse. A load on the acupuncture points by the riding / driving halter is therefore to be avoided as far as possible.
- FIG. 2 the horse's head is shown with a conventional riding / bridle bridle as in the prior art.
- the bridle 2 consists of a neck part 1 with a throat piece 2.
- the neck part 1 is only used to attach a cheek piece 3 for a bridle bit 13.
- the throat piece 2 is only loosely strapped under the horse's head, so that a fist upright between him and the Throat of the horse fits. It must not be pulled harder because otherwise it does not offer the horse enough freedom of movement at the throat. However, the throat piece 2 so loosely applied can not prevent stripping of the riding / driving halter.
- the bridle further consists of a cheekpiece and a puller strap 12, which is attached to a noseband or locking retainer 11.
- connection of the left and right sides of the locking retainer 11 consists of the narrow belt of the cheekpiece 4, which extends above or below the neck part 1.
- the neck part 1 and the cheekpiece 4 have no connection, but are generally mutually displaced to each other.
- a headband 17 the riding / driving halter is fixed over the front of the horse to the front.
- a force acting perpendicular to the neck force is shown, which is exercised by the riding / driving halter on the horse's neck.
- the force is created by train from the cheek piece 4, which prevents slippage of the locking halter due to the chewing movements of the horse, and thus acts directly on the sensitive horse's neck.
- FIG. 3a shows a riding / driving halter and its location on the horse's head, still without buckled teeth. It comprises an integrally formed neck piece 5, which in its extension on each side of the horse's head has plucking 18, 19. On the strut 18, a browband 16 is buckled. In addition, the strands 18 serves as a connection for a denture. On the strut 19, a jaw strap 7 is attached.
- the jaw belt 7 is composed of an upper part 7A between the neck piece 5 and an angular point 8 and a lower part 7B formed between the angular point 8 and the locking retainer 11, which are connected via a ring at an angle 8 with each other and with the lower jaw belt 9.
- connection at the angular point 8 leads to a bending of the course of the upper jaw belt 7A with respect to the lower jaw belt 7B.
- a connecting element can be used, which leads to a bending of the lower jaw belt part 7B relative to the upper jaw belt part 7A.
- the upper jaw belt 7A and the lower jaw belt 9 may be formed of a continuous belt on which the lower jaw belt 7B engages at the angular point 8.
- the lower jaw belt 9 is in turn connected via a throat belt 10 with the locking retainer 11.
- a puller belt 12 is attached to the detent holster 11.
- the neck piece 5 has a preferred width of about 2.5 cm and extends to the neck muscle approach.
- the buckling of the strap belt 7 on the neck piece 5 and the bending of the strap belt 7 by the lower jaw belt 9 at the angular point 8 can be seen.
- the connection of the locking noseband 11 and lower jaw belt 9 through the throat belt 10 is clearly recognizable.
- the throat belt 10 holds the lower jaw belt 9 firmly, so that it rests smoothly on the lower jaw of the horse.
- the riding / driving halter can not be stroked over the horse's head.
- FIG. 3b a bottom view of the horse's head with a riding / driving halter according to FIG. 3a . It is particularly good to see the position of the throat belt 10 along the throat of the horse's head as a connection of the lower jaw belt 9 and the locking retainer 11. Lying in the throat of the horse, the throat belt 10 causes no pressure points. With the locking retainer 11 as an abutment he prevents the lower jaw belt 9 slips towards the throat of the horse out and there leads to a chewing and swallowing movements of the horse impairing constriction. Conversely, he interferes with the lower jaw belt 9 as an abutment slipping of the locking retainer 11 in the direction of the horse's mouth.
- FIG. 4a shows a riding / driving halter as in FIG. 3a It is connected via a jaw piece 3 with the neck piece 5, by being attached to the strut 18 on which the browband 16 is already attached (cf. FIG. 3a ), is strapped.
- the jaw piece 3 for the bridle 13 is not connected to the locking retainer 11.
- the force in the neck of the horse resulting from the slipping of the stopper retainer 11 is given a much steeper incline toward the horse's neck.
- the force is symbolized by a force arrow B.
- This compared to the prior art new direction of the force arrow B is created by the angling of the jaw belt 7 at the angular point 8.
- the force also attacks further away from the delicate neck area of the horse Direction towards the neck and is additionally distributed by the width of the neck piece 5.
- the illustrated riding / driving halter thus offers an advantageous relief of the sensitive neck area of the horse. With the riding / driving halter invention, the horse is therefore better to conduct, because disturbing influences can be avoided by irritating the sensitive horse's back and thus the acupuncture points.
- FIG. 4b shows a bottom view of the horse's head with a riding / driving halter according to FIG. 4a , Consequently, the use of a bridle 13 also leads to no deviations in the area of the throat belt 10, but to the basically same structure as in FIG FIG. 3b ,
- FIG. 5 is a riding / driving halter according to the invention and its location on the horse's head in the form of a curb bridle shown. It also comprises a neck piece 5 in a preferred width of 2.5 cm and in addition a wedge-shaped padding under the neck piece 5.
- the padding consists of a neck wedge 6, whose base is directed towards the ears of the horse and its flat portion towards the rear direction Horseback points.
- the wide neck piece 5 alone or in combination with the neck wedge 6 already solves the task.
- the neck piece 5 is - in contrast to the in FIG. 4a shown riding / driving halter - with at least three straps 18, 19, 20 shown.
- the strut 18 is used to attach the cheekpiece 3A of the curb 14.
- the plunger 20 is used for attachment of the cheek piece 3B for the Unterightrense 15.
- the strands 19 serves - as shown in the examples previously described - for attachment of the cheek strap 7 of the riding / driving holster.
- the locking retainer 11 is used here in accordance with regulations without puller belt.
- the jaw pieces 3A, 3B of the curb bit 14 and the base pawl 15 have no connection with the stopper holder 11, in contrast to the prior art driving halves.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a riding / driving halter with a detent holster and jaw straps for fastening at least the detent holster and a bit on the horse's head.
It is also known that strong pressure in the neck of the horse, caused by the bridle, can cause physical discomfort. However, direct pressure on the neck area is not avoidable with known riding / driving halves. With their proper buckling the locking halter must be strapped so that it is tight. Due to the wedge shape of the horse's head and the mouth movement of the horse, the noseband will inevitably slide downwards. This movement counteracts the bridle. As a result, the pressure (traction in the jaw strap) on the horse's neck increases with each movement of the horse.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a riding / driving halter in which disturbing influences from the pressure on the neck of the horse are reduced.
This object is achieved by a riding / driving halter according to claim 1. It also includes jaw straps that run angled through a buckle.
The riding / driving halter according to the invention can in principle be used for all mounts and riding animals (i.e., horses, donkeys, mules, etc.). However, within the scope of the application, without limitation of the invention, it is anticipated that it will be used on horses, as this is the main field of application.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the jaw straps are interconnected by a respectively acting at an angular point of the respective jaw belt lower jaw belt, which runs over the jaw muscles under the lower jaw bone of the horse, wherein the jaw straps are each angled at the angle by the lower jaw straps. The upper and the lower part of the jaw strap form at the angular point by the buckle with the lower jaw strap an angle which is preferably at a level approximately at the center of the zygomatic bone.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lock retainer and the lower jaw belt are connected to each other by a Kehlriemen between the lower jaw bone along the throat of the horse. In conjunction with the throat piece and the locking noseband, the pulling force acting on the neck piece via the upper jaw strap is reduced to a minimum. Further advantageously, the detent holster is preferably connected in a region slightly below the cheekbone with the jaw straps and in the throat cavity with the throat belt. From the connection of the lower jaw belt with the throat piece to the detent not only the force acting from the upper part of the shoe strap is directed towards horse neck, but also an optimal jaw clearance of the Horse guaranteed. The jaw clearance reduces pinching of the jaw angle with the locking noseband and improves the muzzle action, so that one has a better influence with the rider or hand on the horse's mouth.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the jaw straps each consist of an upper jaw belt part and a lower jaw belt part, which are connected to each other at the angular point. This ensures that the upper and the lower jaw belt part do not turn up due to the bending, but remain flat on the horse's head.
According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, instead of the upper jaw belt part and the lower jaw belt, a continuous belt is used, on which the lower jaw belt part engages. By dispensing with the interruption at the angular point, the halter can be produced more cheaply.
The invention has in a particularly preferred embodiment, a neck piece on which the jaw straps are strapped. So you are held against each other immovable. This means that the bit can not be unintentionally unilaterally pulled out of the horse's mouth. On the previous countermeasures, namely on washers on both sides of the horse's mouth or on a particularly firm buckling of the strap on which the bridle is attached, creating a further burden on the horse in the sensitive neck area can therefore be dispensed with. Due to the buckling of the upper jaw straps with the neck piece, the small pull on the neck is distributed over a large area on the neck and the neck musculature approach - favored by the preferred width of the neck piece of more than 2.5 cm. The power from the buckle of the noseband acts in the direction of horse stance. This also follows an avoidance of irritation of the sensitive horse's back.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the neck piece behind the ears of the horse has cutouts for the ears of a horse.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the neck piece is padded behind the ears of the horse with a neck wedge and the flat part of the wedge tapers to the rear. The wedge-shaped pad of the neck piece additionally dampens the force acting on the neck piece from the cheek piece.
The neck piece has, according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least two straps for attaching the locking retainer and a bridle and / or a curb, wherein the first straps for securing the cheek piece of a curb, the second strut for fixing a jaw piece of a Unterlegtrense and the third strupter for fixing the baking belt is used.
The invention can be used as a bridle with two straps on the neck piece, wherein the locking halter is usually used as a detent holster with puller strap, and the cheek piece is not connected to the detent holster.
The invention can also be used as a double bridle. Here a neck piece with three struts is used. The first strut serves to buckle the cheek piece of the curb bit. The second strut is used to buckle the cheek piece of Unterlegtrense. The third swab is used to buckle the strap belt. The locking halter is then used without a puller belt.
Preferably, one uses a riding / driving halter with a headband. The browband fixes the bridle around the forehead to prevent the riding / driving halter from sliding back and forth.

By a force arrow A, a force acting perpendicular to the neck force is shown, which is exercised by the riding / driving halter on the horse's neck. The force is created by train from the
The

In addition to the
