Definitions

  • the invention relates to a suction and filter device with a suction fan, which is arranged on a base housing and arranged in a tiltable by means of a hinge, provided with at least one raw air inlet port filter housing filter cartridge, wherein the filter cartridge can be acted upon from the outside with the raw air.
  • suction and filtering devices are used in particular for industrial vapors and dusts, especially as a welding fume filter.
  • a suction and filter device of the aforementioned type is known from DE-U-9307 427 become known, comprising a suction and filter device according to the preamble of claim 1. It is intended for wood dust and has a large storage space for the accumulating dust, over which the untreated air inlet is used as an intermediate part. On this the filter housing with the filter cartridge is arranged, which is acted upon from the inside with the raw air. The intake fan is located in a laterally attached housing part.
  • the German Utility Model G 93 19 772 describes a suction device in which a base housing has a hinged lid part, are attached to the two filter cartridges hanging. They are acted upon from the outside with raw air. The clean air passes from the interior of the filter cartridges into a chamber which is formed in the lid. The falling from the outer surface of the filter cartridges filter material falls into a funnel-shaped dust pan in the base housing.
  • the object of the invention is to further improve such a suction and filter device and to adapt in particular for other and as universal as possible applications.
  • the simplest possible, clean and time-saving disposal of the filter material should be possible.
  • the filter material ie dusts arising during welding, including metal particles and slag parts, can thus settle in an annular space which is formed between the jacket of the filter housing and the exterior of the filter cartridge.
  • the contents of this annular groove slips when tilting the filter under gravity on the discharge opening, which is preferably provided at the end of the discharge shaft, which protrudes radially from the filter housing wall. It may be provided at the end with a closure lid which is hinged or removable, so as not to allow any secondary air during operation.
  • a disposable filter material container such as a plastic bag, which is provided for example with a string in the opening edge, which is inserted into a groove on the edge of the discharge opening.
  • a string in the opening edge which is inserted into a groove on the edge of the discharge opening.
  • a functionally and structurally particularly advantageous solution is to provide the discharge shaft between two arms of the tilting hinge.
  • the shaft forms a box-shaped stiffening of the hinge part and it is also ensured that the shaft is located after tilting at the bottom of the filter housing, without obstructing the disposal.
  • the exhaust fan can be arranged centrally below the filter housing. If it is a radial fan, then its central intake can be connected directly via an intake with the interior of the filter cartridge, so that the suction occurs with low flow losses.
  • the device operates particularly effectively and quietly when the base housing, adjacent to a blower section containing the exhaust fan, has an outlet section adjacent to the filter housing, which has flow calming and sound damping devices.
  • the side walls can be provided in the sum of large-area outlet openings, for example in the form of louvered slats.
  • the raw air inlet into the filter housing is done radially. It can be provided several, preferably two unfiltered air inlet connections, which are formed in the form of laterally attached to the filter housing jacket nozzles or shafts. It makes sense, however, their entry is directed vertically upwards and provided with coupling devices for suction hoses with a relatively large diameter. These may then be attached to a gallows or scissor arms which have their anchoring to the outlet portion of the base housing.
  • flow guidance means are provided, e.g. a baffle wall limited to this area, which deflects the unfiltered air in the bypass space around the outer of the filter cartridge.
  • Fig. 1 and 2 show a suction and filter device 11, which is formed in the embodiment as a welding fume filter and serves as such. It has a wheeled base housing 12, which has a flat, in particular drum-shaped fan section 13 and a laterally adjoining, towering, tower-like outlet section 14.
  • a suction fan 15 is arranged with a central, vertical axis, which has an electric motor and a directly driven by this radial fan 17.
  • central suction port 18 of the fan includes a streamlined nozzle-shaped suction port 19, which extends from the upper cover 20 of the fan section of the base housing 12.
  • a filter housing 21 is arranged, which is fitted into the remaining free space of the L-shaped base housing and adjacent to the outlet portion, but slightly higher than this.
  • the filter housing is pot-shaped and closed at the top with a lid 22 which is to open to remove or insert a centrally arranged in the filter housing filter cartridge 23.
  • the filter cartridge is centered on a step 24 of the bottom 25 of the filter housing and is sealed there by a lip or rib seal of its elastic end washer. In the same way, the upper end face of the filter cartridge is sealed on the lid.
  • the filter cartridge Around the annular cylindrical filter cartridge around a ring-cylindrical Umströmungsraum 26 is formed between the outer side 27 of the filter cartridge and the jacket 28 of the filter housing. It ends down in a relative to the lower end face of the cartridge filter bearing stage 24 lowered channel 29, in which can filter out filtered filter material from the cartridge filter. This falls from the untreated air applied to the outside 27 of the cartridge filter into the channel 29.
  • the filter cartridge is annular cylindrical and usually consists of zigzag-folded, cardboard-like filter material.
  • the bottom 25 of the filter cartridge has a central outlet opening 30, which is located centrally above the suction opening 19 and thus connects the interior 31 of the filter cartridge with the blower.
  • the blower is thus arranged on the clean air side and thus not exposed to the partially aggressive dusts and vapors that are present in the unfiltered air and are filtered out of the filter in front of the blower.
  • the filter housing 21 is pivotable about an axis 32 which passes through a mounted on the fan section 13 of the base housing 12 bearing block 33.
  • the axis 32 forms with the bearing block 33 and two extending to both sides of the bearing bracket arms 34 a hinge 35. Its axis 32 is axially below and radially outside of the bottom 25 of the filter housing 21st
  • the hinge arms 34 are laterally provided on a shaft 36 which in Fig. 3 is shown in detail.
  • the shaft 36 connects to the channel 29, in which collects the filter material and protrudes radially between the two hinge arms 34 through to the outside. It forms a kind of tube of rectangular cross-section, by the distance between the two arms is connected by top and bottom wall sections.
  • the outer end of the shaft forms a discharge opening 37, in the region thereof
  • An attachment device 38 for a Filtergut essenceer 39 here in the form of a plastic bag, is provided.
  • the attachment means 38 is in the form of an outwardly open groove 40 formed in the well wall, near the mouth of the manhole, and which completely revolves around the discharge opening 37 of the manhole. It serves in the operating state ( Fig. 1 ) for receiving a closure lid 41, which is held there eg with snap-locks. A seal in the lid can rest on the outer surface of the discharge opening 37 sealingly. As a result of the negative pressure prevailing in the filter housing during operation, the cover is tightly held thereon.
  • Fig. 3 is indicated in dash-dotted lines that formed as a plastic bag Filtergut constituer is turned over at its edge inwards and in the hem 42 formed there includes a tensioning cord 33 which is tensioned after slipping the Filtergut variousers on the discharge and possibly knotted.
  • the plastic bag is tight and firmly connected to the discharge.
  • other attachment methods for a container for disposal of the filter material possible.
  • the entry of the unfiltered air into the filter housing takes place via two raw air inlet connections 45, which protrude relatively high on the side opposite the hinge 35 substantially radially out of the jacket 28 of the filter housing 21. They have at their top hose connections 46 (see Fig. 2 ) with couplings for unfiltered hoses 47 relatively large diameter. These are Wandungsversteift, relatively easily flexible and light hoses through which the device 11 are connected to the suction ports at the weld. The hoses are held in a manner not shown by scissors or gooseneck-like guides movable to a rotatable Pivot pin 49 are placed, which projects from the portion of the base housing upwards.
  • the Rohlufteintrittsan somebodyn 45 which can be used optionally or simultaneously, is a baffle plate 50 in the flow space 26 opposite. It forms a flow guiding means, distributes the incoming unfiltered air along the circumference of the Umströmungsraums 26 and prevents the direct impingement of the unfiltered air on the outer of the filter cartridge.
  • the outlet section 14 of the base housing is connected to the space formed in the fan section 13 and thus to the pressure-side outlet of the blower 17.
  • Strömungsbegruhisthists- and sound damping devices of conventional type are provided which open in total large-scale clean air outlet openings 51, which are known as lamellen- or louvered grids are provided on both sides of the outlet portion 14.
  • the device 11 is rendered ready for operation by inserting a filter cartridge 23 through the upper opening to be closed by the cover 22. At least one Rohluftschlauch 47 is connected. A possibly remaining free connection opening 46 of one of the two unfiltered air inlet connections 45 is optionally closed with a blind cover.
  • the device is then started by starting the engine 16. It absorbs via the hose 47 vapors from the workstation of the welder, which are sucked through the lying in the recesses 52 Rohlufteintrittsan Why in the flow around 26 of the filter housing and distributed by the flow distribution means (baffle plate 50) as evenly as possible over the circumference of the cartridge filter. This is acted upon by its outer side 27 of the unfiltered air and filters in the unfiltered air containing particles or dusts, which fall largely down into the channel 29 of the Umströmungsraums 26.
  • the clean air is received from the filter interior 31 via the opening 30 in the suction opening 19 of the suction port 18 of the blower and exits at the outer periphery of the radial blower 17 again. From there, the clean air enters the outlet portion of the base housing, passes through Schalldämpfungs- and Strömungsbeing Trents• and finally exits from the clean air outlet openings 51 over a large area.
  • the filter housing 21 in the in Fig. 2 shown tilted position, ie at an angle that varies depending on the circumstances between 30 and 90 °. Due to the relatively far outside of the base housing and filter housing hinge axis 32 tilting at any angle is possible. A securing band 54 holds the filter in the tilted position. In this position, the filter material falls by itself under gravity into the bag 39. This can then be subtracted from the discharge opening 37 and sealed with the tensioning cord. It can be seen that due to this cleaning option, no dust gets into the environment and the filter material can be easily disposed of.
  • a cleaning of the cartridge filter itself is easy to accomplish by the lid 22 is opened and the cartridge is removed.
  • tilt facilitates the accessibility.
  • automatic cleaning devices which work with mechanical vibrators, beaters or brushes, as well as cleaning devices operating with compressed air, permanently to the filter housing.
  • the filter housing rests only under gravity on the fan section 13 of the base housing 12, it is tightly connected to the fan, wherein the tightness increases with increasing suction force.
  • the filter housing to which the hoses can exert lateral forces safely guided in the operating position in the recesses 52, so that these forces are transferred directly to the base housing without significantly affecting the filter housing.
  • the raw air hoses seem to come out vertically from the outlet section 14.
