Abstract

The inventive cladding panel is embodied in such a way that it is stackable in a small volume ensuring a good mechanical resistance to different forces, in particular to wind forces. The result is obtained in that the panel is provided with two wings (20, 30) which are substentially parallel with respect to each other and slightly inclined with respect to the plane which is perpendicular to the core sheet (10) of the panel. One (20) of two wings comprises a section (23) which is more inclined to said perpendicular plane in such a way that the other wing of the panel adjacent to a triangular cross section caisson is formed when two panels are nested into each other.

Description

Tray usable as a construction element and wall with application.
On a cherché à pallier cet inconvénient, notamment dans le documentThe present invention relates to metal profiles or trays, used in construction for. the realization of vertical or horizontal walls. Such trays are used to make walls or ceilings or roofs of buildings, these profiles are often referred to as "cladding trays". Such trays are known comprising a core and two wings extending substantially perpendicularly to said core, each of these two wings delimiting a kind of hook open towards the outside of the plate, which is intended during the assembly of trays, to cooperate with the end of the adjacent plate to achieve an interlocking to prevent relative displacements of these trays in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the core and in a direction substantially perpendicular to the same plane. In addition, the interlocking of two adjacent wings delimits a box shape providing overall good rigidity. This is particularly the case for the plate described in CA-1123568 which comprises wings whose portions of the main portions which are parallel to each other, are perpendicular to the plane of the core of the plate. As a result, the interlocking mode shown in FIG . 3 of the Canadian document can not actually be realized, or could only be achieved with trays having different dimensions to each other. Such trays have the disadvantage of occupying a very large volume when they must be stacked on each other. others to be transported or stored. We have sought to overcome this drawback, particularly in the document
However, the profile described in this document, if satisfactorily solves the problem of congestion, does not offer any performance. in fact sufficient with regard to the resistance to the forces due. in the wind. It also requires, at least in one of its variants, a somewhat larger metal consumption, to compensate for a certain lack of rigidity. In addition, its manufacture is relatively complicated. The object of this invention is to provide a platform that can be used as a construction element, which makes it possible to reconcile at the same time a satisfactory resistance to the different types of forces and a low volume during storage or - transport. . For this purpose, the invention relates to a. plate usable as a construction element, formed of a metal section comprising a core or beach and two wings extending from two opposite longitudinal edges of said core, each wing having a flange which is substantially parallel to the plane of the core and extends outwardly of the plate, characterized in that the two wings of the same plate each comprise a main part, these main parts being substantially parallel to each other over at least a part of their length and forming with a plane perpendicular to the plane of the soul of the plate an angle between 5 and 15 °, that of the two wings which is inclined towards the inside of the plate having a portion which extends the main part and which is more inclined towards the inside of the plateau, the rim of the same wing extending outwardly of the plateau from the edge of said inclined portion which is farthest from the main part. According to particular embodiments of the invention, the tray may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken individually or in any technically possible combination: the free edge of the rim of the first inwardly sloping flange the shelf is substantially in alignment with the main part of this wing, - the rim of the second wing extends directly from the edge of the main part which is farthest from the base of the wing, v - the edge of the second wing . has a width slightly less than

On obtient alors une meilleure solidarisation entre deux plateaux adjacents, mais au détriment de l'absence d'appui entre le retour 35, 65 et l'aile adjacente que permettent d'assurer les modes de réalisation des figures 1 , 2 et 4, 5. that of the rim of the first wing, - the two wings are connected to the soul of the plate by a cutaway, '' . • - '' 3 \ ' . - said cut faces are inclined at approximately 45 ° with respect to the plane of the soul of the plateau, - the cut edges situated at the base of the two wings have substantially the same width, - the first wing inclined towards the inside of the plateau has between its base and its main part a part which is more inclined towards the soul than its main part, - said part situated between the base and the main part of the first. wing is substantially parallel to said portion extending from said main portion, - said portion located between the base and the main portion of the first wing is substantially parallel to the inclined section associated with the second wing, - the cutaway located at the base of the second wing has a width " greater than that of the cutaway located at the base of the first wing, and - the edge of the second wing inclined outwardly of the plate, has a substantially parallel return to said portion which extends from the main part of the first wing. The invention also relates to a wall comprising a plurality of trays, nested one inside the other and fixed to each other, characterized in that the trays are such that defined above, the nested wings of two adjacent panels being in contact at least along their main parts and delimiting between their ends a box-like shape. e triangular section, the edge of one of the two wings overlapping the flange of the adjacent wing of the other tray. In addition: " - the edge of the first inclined wing towards the interior of the board of which it forms part, overlaps the edge of the adjacent wing of the other board, - the return of the second wing of one trays abut against the first wing of the adjacent plate, and - the rim of the sloping wing outward of the plate of which it is part, overlaps the flange of the adjacent wing of the adjacent panel. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is an end view of a plate according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a detail view showing the interlocking between two adjacent trays; - Figure 3 is a schematic view illustrating the stacking mode of several trays according to the invention; and - Figures 4 and 5 are views similar to those of Figures 1 and 2 showing another embodiment; and - Figure 6 is a detail view of another variant, applicable to the two previous embodiments. FIG. 1 shows a plate P according to the invention consisting of a metal section made of a known material and in thicknesses that are also conventional for this type of product. The tray according to the invention comprises a core 10 may comprise one or more longitudinal ribs 12 and two wings 20, 30 extending from two opposite longitudinal edges of the web of the profile. The originality of this plateau lies mainly in the shape that is given to these wings. In the rest of the description will be described as "inside" the part of the plateau between the two wings of the same plateau, the term "outside" designating the areas of the space located outside these two wings. The first wing located on the left in the drawing comprises a first portion or main portion 21, which gives it its general orientation and which is connected to the soul by a cutaway 22 forming with this soul an angle of the order of 45 °. Said main portion 21 of the wing 20 is slightly inclined towards the inside of the plate and forms with a plane P 2 perpendicular to the general plane Pi of the core an angle g between 5 and 15 ° and preferably close to 10 ° . This main part 21 is extended by a second part 23 more inclined towards the inside of the plate and the end of this inclined part is itself extended by a rim 24 parallel to the core and directed towards '' • • • • '• • • _ 5' outside of the tray the free edge of the flange lying substantially in the extension of the main portion of the wing. The second portion 23 of J'aile .20 forms with the plane P 2 perpendicular to the plane i of the soul a -angle J3_ between 35 and 45 °, for example equal to or close to 41 °. The second wing 30, located on the right in FIG. 1, comprises a main part 31 which gives it its orientation and which is substantially parallel to the main part 21 of the first wing 20, that is to say that it forms with a plane P 2 perpendicular to the plane Pi of the core, the plate an angle between 5 and 15 ° and preferably equal to or close to 10 °. This main part 31 is also connected to the core by a cut-off end 32 inclined for example at 45 °. The main portion 31 of the wing has at its end a flange 34 parallel to the plane Pi of the core and directed towards the outside of the plate, and whose width is. slightly lower than that of the rim 24 of the first wing. In the embodiment shown, the flange 34 is extended by a return 35 forming with the flange an angle between 40 and 60 °, preferably equal to or close to 49 °. FIG. 2 shows a nesting between two adjacent profiles or cladding boards Pi, P 2 . This nesting is effected by engagement of the wing 20 of the upper plate Ps on the wing 30 of the lower plate P ,. 'The two main parts 21, 31 of the two wings are in mutual contact while their ends define a part 40 in triangular box. The two flanges 24 and 34 overlap and the retour 35 abuts against the more inclined portion 23 of the flange 20. The attachment between two adjacent trays is achieved by means of self-tapping seam screws 41 arranged in the area of main parts 21, 31 of the two wings, and by means of self-tapping screws 42 at the same time fixing fastening panels (not shown) at the edges 24 and 34. In this respect, the presence of the return 35 is important because thanks to this arrangement, the rim 34 is perfectly maintained and is not likely to deviate from the flange 24 during the introduction of the self-tapping screws 42, a disadvantage that is encountered with certain devices of the art prior. In the transport position, trays according to the invention can be stacked as shown in FIG. 3 and it can be seen from the simple view of this FIG. 1 that this stacking can be achieved with an extremely small loss of space compared to what could be known with the trays of the prior art. 'In stacking position, the wings 20 fit into each other almost without gaming, while the wings 30 fit together with a vertical spacing which substantially corresponds to the height of the back 35. The side contact of wings 30 is carried, on the one hand, at the lower zone 36 of the main portions 31 and, secondly, at the free edge of the return 35, which bears on the flange 34 of the panel immediately located below. FIG. 4 shows a variant of a tray according to the invention. This variant differs from the first embodiment in terms of the shape of the wings 50, 60. The first wing 50 has in its main part 51 a recess so as to define a surface 56 extending from the cutaway 52 and of which the inclination relative to the plane of the soul is substantially the same as that of the cutaway 62 of the other wing. Furthermore, the cutaway 62 has a length greater than that of the cutaway 52 of the first wing, so as to define a bearing surface 62a for the surface 56. The end portions 53, 54; 64, 65 of the wings 50, 60, are similar to those of the wings 20, 30 of the first embodiment. FIG. 5 shows the interlocking of two adjacent sections in accordance with this second embodiment. The nesting in the vicinity of the ends of the two wings 50, 60 is the same as in the first embodiment. By cons, because of the presence of the recess 56 and its cooperation with the cutaway 62a of the wing 60 ,! relative maintenance and attachment between two adjacent panels, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the trays, are improved. The stacking mode of this modified tray is similar to what has been described and shown with respect to the first embodiment, so that it did not seem useful to represent it. It follows from the foregoing that a tray according to the invention satisfactorily solves the various problems posed. Indeed: - this plate has a relatively simple profile so that its manufacture is easy and relatively low cost; the resistance to the various forces is satisfactory, because of the small inclination of the wings of the plates with respect to a direction perpendicular to the core of these plates as well as the fact of. the constitution of a box structure during the nesting of two adjacent trays; - Fixing against-cladding and securing between two adjacent trays is effected effectively by means of self-tapping screws, and the presence of the return 35 ensures the maintenance of the flange 34 in position which ensures that the screws self-tapping cross the two edges well; - Stacking of these trays can be achieved with a minimal loss of space, which is a substantial advantage for transporting and storage. Of course, many variants can be made, without departing from the scope of this invention, including the forms of detail trays, the dimensions of the different sections of the profiles and the values of the angles between these different sections. Thus, for example, the ends of the two wings 70, 80 may be shaped and dimensioned such that it is the flange 84 of the flange inclined outward of the corresponding plate which straddles the flange 74 of the wing 70 inclined inwardly of the adjacent plate, as shown in FIG. 6. This gives better bonding between two adjacent plates, but to the detriment of the absence of support between the return 35, 65 and the adjacent wing that can ensure the embodiments of Figures 1, 2 and 4, 5.
