Description

COSMETIC AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS, PROCESS FOR PREPARING AND USING THE SAME AND METHOD OF AMELIORATING THE COSMETOLOGICAL CUTANEOUS STATUS
The present invention relates to cosmetic and hygiene products intended to be used in cosmetology for maintaining and improving the health condition by balancing and ameliorating the cosmetological status, to a process for preparing and using the same and to a method of ameliorating the cosmetological cutaneous status. There are known from the US patent 5,788,953 cosmetic and hygiene preparations used for preventing and treating the skin diseases, including maintenance and beauty products that comprise water with a deuterium content ranging from 111 to 135 ppm. The cosmetic products described in the mentioned patent exhibit, due to the low deuterium content, an action of preventing the cancerous skin diseases by lowering the deuterium concentration in the skin. As a result of this low deuterium concentration, the products obtained this way may be used for preventing and treating the tumoural diseases, for slowing down the aging processes and for treating other skin diseases, such as the psoriasis, warts, excessive skin pigmentation, skin tuberculosis and also for preventing the ocurrence of wrinkles. Since in many of the cases presented in the said patent it results that only an amelioration, limited in time, of the initial condition was obtained, namely the symptoms of the disease did not appear for some time, there still exists the need to obtain new products for improving the health condition by balancing and ameliorating the cosmetological status. The problem solved by the present invention is to make products for improving the cutaneous, energetic and constitutional cell metabolism, for improving the hydric balance at the cell level and for having an immunomodulating and cell proliferation control activity, with wrinkle preventing and cutaneous aging control effect. Surprisingly, it has been ascertained that by reconsidering the deuterium content in the water used as basic component and by the amount of deuterium-depleted water (ASD) used for preparing the cosmetic and hygiene products , including the maintenance and beauty products, there are obtained effects of improving and maintaining the intense health condition that is rapidly installed, having a relatively long duration, sometimes without returning to the initial condition that required the use of the product claimed by the invention. The invention solves the technical problem by the fact that the cosmetic and hygiene products contain 5 ... 96% by weight deuterium-depleted water with a deuterium content in the range of 2 ... 80 ppm, in association with pharmacologically acceptable excipients. According to the invention, the cosmetic and hygiene products preferably comprise 40 ... 90%, and more preferably between 40 ... 80% of deuterium-depleted water with a deuterium content preferably in the range of 20 ... 30 ppm. The cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention are preferably formulated as lotions, spays, creams, emulsions, gels, masks, mouth care water, dentifrice, make-ups, soaps, shampoos, balsams, hair sprays etc. The cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention possibly contain, besides the deuterium-depleted water, another active component that can be selected from: vitamins, vegetable origin components, sexual hormones, phyto-hormones, bee products, extracts from see algae and sapropelic muds, animal origin components, inorganic components and medicaments, such as antibiotics and antimycotics. The process for obtaining a cosmetic and hygiene product claimed by the invention consists in that in a first step there is obtained the basic composition by mixing the fatty components, in hot conditions preferably at 80°C, in the presence of an emulsifier, for minimum 10 minutes, up to completely melting, and homogenizing the resulting mixture, followed by gradually pouring therein, while vigorously stirring, a homogenous mixture obtained in a second step, in hot conditions preferably at 80°C, from deuterium - depleted water having a deuterium content in the range of 2 ... 80 ppm, propylene glycol, glycerine and preservative, there being formed an emulsion that is cooled, while stirring, up to 40°C, to which there is added an emulsion obtained by mixing, in the presence of an emulsifier, an oily mixture resulting in a third step from: triglycerides, vegetable oils, vitamins, with an aqueous solution resulting in a fourth step, by mixing the following components at a temperature of 40°C: deuterium - depleted water having a deuterium content in the range of 2 ... 80 ppm, alantoin dimethylsilanol hyaluronate, vegetable extract, hydrating agent, hydrolyzed collagen and preservative, there being finally obtained the desired product having a pH in the range of 4.5 ... 8.5, that is packed after homogenization. The process of using the cosmetic and hygiene products with a view to maintaining the cosmetological status consists in preparing the human body surface of interest by treating, for 5 ... 12 days, 2 ... 3 times a day, daily, preferably by the application as compresses or by spraying with ASD having a deuterium content of 40 ...60 ppm, followed by the application of any one of the products, and between two successive applications of the product, 10 ... 15 minutes before the application, the surface of interest is brought into contact with ASD with a deuterium content in the range of 40 ... 60 ppm, at the body temperature. The method of ameliorating the cutaneous cosmetological status consists in that the product defined in any one of the claims 1 ... 5 is applied on the area of interest, 2 - 3 times a day as: compresses kept for 10 ... 20 minutes, sprays, oil-in-water type creams, emulsions, gels, for 1 - 3 months, or shampoos to be used daily or twice a week, by maintaining the foam on the head for 5 - 10 minutes, concomitantly with the systemic administration per os of 1500 ml/day, at a dilution of 1 part ASD with a deuterium content of 20 ... 30 ppm at 2 parts of still water or carbonated mineral water, divided into 6 ... 8 portions, each of 150 ... 200 ml. The cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention have the following advantages: - revitalize the energetic and constitutional skin cell metabolism by improving the use of glucose and fats; - rapidly improve the hydric balance by the more rapid absorption and in a bigger quantity of the water in the cell, the deuterium - depleted water being hypotonic, thereby exerting an excellent hydrating effect; - have an immunomodulating action and consequently they increase the topical defense power; - control the cell proliferation that has consequences on the epidermis where they influence the cell regeneration and the collagen and elastic fibres synthesis; - allow a very good skin and mucous membranes respiration; - the amelioration of the cosmetological status is produced in a relatively short time and the reached level is maintained for a relatively long time. As deuterium-depleted water there is used the water obtained according to the Romanian patent 112422, which presents the following characteristics: deuterium content 2 ... 80 ppm, pH = 6.5 - 7.5; CI' < 0.1 mg/l; SO4 2" < 0.1 mg/l; Ca2+ < 0.1 mg/l; Fe2+ < 0.1 mg/l; consumption of KMnO4 < 1.5 mg/l; conductivity < 1.5 μS/cm; PO4 3" < 0.1 mg/l; Mg2+ < 0.1 mg/l, Cu 2+ < 0.1 mg/l. As another active component, besides the deuterium-depleted water, the following can be used in the cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention: Vitamins selected from the group of vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F, H, Biotin, D-Panthenol Vegetable origin components such as: - plant extracts preferably from wild camomile, watercress, arnica, garden sage, stinging nettle, aloe, blackwort, gingo, ginseng, rose, camomile, orange flowers, melissa, licorice, country mallow, chestnut, mint, edelweiss etc; - extracts from trees and/or parts of the trees, such as preferably chlorophyl; extract from chestnut tree, ivy, lime -tree, dwarf palm tree, silky willow, pine apple, henna, birch, hazel tree, coffee, white cedar etc; - extracts or fruit or vegetable juices such as preferably apricots, strawberries, grape-fruit, grapes, lemon, cucumber, rice, barley, oat, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, guarana, dahlias, officinal rosemary, quinces, caffeine etc; - vegetable oils such as from grape seeds, olives, sunflower, almonds, lavender, avocado, castor-oil plant, peanuts, cocoa, tea tree, apricot kerns, cocos, sesame seeds, argania seeds, hazels, nuts, ceratonia , evening primrose etc; - phyto-hormones contained in extracts from corn germs, wheat germs, ceratonia etc; - ceramides, sabosols, alantoin, urea etc. Sexual hormones: - estrogens, androgens etc.

It has been ascertained in the works performed that an increased efficiency of the cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention is obtained, if previously, there is applied, for 5 ... 12 days, 2 ... 3 times a day, daily, preferably as compresses or by spraying, ASD with a deuterium content of 40 ... 60 ppm. According to the invention, the maintaining of this high efficiency of the products is ensured by treating the skin, 10 ... 15 minutes before each application of the cosmetic product, with ASD having a deuterium content in the range of 40 ... 60 ppm, at the body temperature. At the same time, for maintaining the cosmetological status obtained by the application of the products according to the invention, it is recommended to keep a 1 ... 2- month maintenance cure, at least twice a year, preferably in spring and in autumn, this cure consisting in the topical administration of ASD with a deuterium content of 2 ... 20 ppm. The cosmetological cutaneous status is even more improved by applying on the area of interest, 2 - 3 times a day, the product defined in any one of the claims 1 ... 5 as: compresses maintained for 10 - 20 minutes, sprays, oil-in- water type creams, emulsions, gels, for 1 - 3 months, or shampoos to be used daily or twice a week, by maintaining the foam on the head for 5 - 10 minutes, concomitantly with the systemic per os administration of 1500 ml/day, at a dilution of 1 part of ASD with a deuterium content of 20 ... 30 ppm to 2 parts of still water or carbonated mineral water, divided into 6 - 8 portions, each of 150 - 200 ml. Upon the industrial application of the cosmetic and hygiene products according to the invention, these products exhibited good spreading characteristics, in conditions in which the transcutaneous penetration is rapid and very good, in this respect allowing them to be included in the class of "vanishing" products, and at the same time they are very stable in time. It has been ascertained that the cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention exhibit a surprising effect with regard to the tolerance and response to the application, these being suitable for a sensitive skin, in this situation not having been ascertained either the undesirable side effects to manifest immediately or after long-time administration. Within the clinical tests performed, it has been ascertained that the medical cosmetic products prepared according to the invention, preferably comprising 40 ... 90% and more preferably 40 ... 80% deuterium-depleted water with a deuterium content preferably in the range of 20 to 30 ppm, have outstanding therapeutic effects, beneficial for a large range of dermatological affections, such as: - day cream for normal and dry face skin and as day cream for sensitive face skin, applied 2 - 3 times a day, in a thin film, while gently massaging the area of interest, after 5 -10 days of systemic use, by the effects of ameliorating the own ASD metabolic performances and by the special hydrating, emollient and calming effects, contributed to ameliorating the clinical status in over 85% of the users. The amelioration expressed in percentage relative to untreated witness subjects is in the range of 45 to 60%, in the case of the following affections: face eczemas, allergic contact dermites, irritative dermatites as well as essential xerodermias and xerodermias secondary to PUVA phototherapy or to therapy with aromatic retinoids for acnea, psoriasis, ichthyosis ; - body creams, hand creams and foot creams, after the application 2 - 3 times a day, in a richer film, with medium intensity massaging, demonstrated important therapeutic effects in over 95% of the users. The amelioration expressed in percentage relative to the untreated witness subjects being in the range of 65 to 75% in the case of the following affections: atopic dermatitis, chronical eczemas, cutaneous dryness due to aging, xerodermias secondary to phototherapy for psoriasis, eczemas, cutaneous lymphomas, vitiligo; - gel-creams intended for the scaled skin, after the application at least twice a day, in a rich film, possibly on the lesions located at elbows, knees, forearms, shanks etc, with thick scales as the ones caused by psoriasis, once a day under an occlusive dressing kept for 30 - 60 minutes, exhibited important curative effects in the treatment of psoriasis, xerodemias caused by aging, ichthyosis, causing important amelioration in over 85 - 95% of the users. The amelioration expressed in percentage relative to the untreated witness subjects being in the interval from 55 to 70%, in case of the mentioned affections; - creams intended for the face care and the ones intended to the body, hand and foot care, applied in a thick film, at least twice a day, of which at least once a day under occlusive dressing kept for one hour, determined ameliorations of over 90% of the users. The amelioration expressed in percentage relative to the untreated witness subjects, is in the range from 55 to 75% in the case of the following affections: horny and cellular cutaneous productions with benign character (viral warts, viral papilloma, seborrheic warts etc), precancerous character (actinic keratoses etc) or malign character (basocellular and spinocellular epitelioma). The amelioration obtained was maintained during the whole duration of use of the products claimed by the invention and of minimum 3 months after the application ceased. All these actions can be explained by the immunomodulating effects, by the effects of ameliorating the cutaneous metabolism and more particularly by the effects of controlling the cell proliferation. We have ascertained from the clinical tests performed that the beneficial action of the cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention, particularly in controlling the cutaneous tumours, is more increased, if, concomitantly with the application of the topical therapy according to the manner described above, there is administered a systemic therapy with ASD, that is to be drunk according to certain protocols. The association of the systemic therapy with ASD is possible because this is completely lacking toxicity and its curative effects are maintained even when used for preparing food by boiling. The fundamental principle of using ASD is to progressively and slowly decrease the deuterium concentration in the body up to an as low as possible minimum value and for periods of time sufficiently long for obtaining the anticipated biological effects, but sufficiently short to prevent the organism adaptation to a certain concentration, followed by the slow increase of the deuterium concentration in the body liquids (the principle of the "harmonics stress"). The treatments performed with ASD with a deuterium concentration of 20-30 ppm, systemically administered orally on a significant number of patients, with different forms and evolutional stages of somatic cancers, permitted the identification and clinical validation by efficiency, of some treatment schemes summarized below. For ameliorating the cosmetological cutaneous status in the clinical tests performed it was ascertained that, if the topical application of the cosmetic products claimed by the invention, formulated as sprays, oil-in-water type creams, emulsions, gels, twice a day, in cures of 1 - 3 months, or shampoos to be used daily or twice a week, while maintaining the foam on the head for 5 - 10 minutes, is associated with the systemic administration per os, of an amount of 1500 ml/day at a dilution of 1 part ASD 20 ... 30 ppm to 2 parts of still water or carbonated mineral water, divided in portions of 150 - 200 ml, drunk at equal time intervals during the whole day, for 1 - 3 months, with a pause of 1 - 3 months, and the resuming of the administration several times. The clinical tests performed on a significant number of subjects indicated an outstanding effect of ASD with a deuterium content of 20 ... 30 ppm, of improving the physical and psychic status of the users of ASD administered orally, said improvement consisting of the increase of the physical resistance and of the performances to physical and psychic efforts, of the occurrence of the feeling of physical and psychic welfare and of recovering from some depression conditions, of recovering the sleep and of some losses of cerebral functions post vascular cerebral accident. In the therapy of psoriasis and benign cutaneous proliferations, there is associated the topical administration of ASD with a deuterium content of 20 ... 30 ppm twice a day, as spray, compresses, creams, gels, emulsions, with or without occlusive dressing, shampoos to be used daily or twice a week, while maintaining the foam on the head for 5 - 10 minutes, with the systemic administration, per os, in variable amounts relative to the body weight, initially with 1500 ml/day for a weight of up to 70 kilos and increasing with 100 ml for each 10 kilos, in variable dilutions with still water or carbonated mineral water, starting from 1 : 2 to 1 : 1.0 to 1 : 0.8, to 1 : 0.6 up to 1 : 0, while modifying the concentration plateau to 2 - 6 weeks, the administration period being of 4 - 6 - 12 months and then returning through the same concentration plateaus, but with a much shorter period of time (about 15 - 25% of the initial period of each plateau) to the dilution of 1 : 2 and resuming the administration after a pause of 3 - 6 months. ASD may be associated with radiotherapy and anti-neoplastic chemotherapy diminishing the side effects thereof, as well as with other therapies for the basic disease or intercurrent sufferings that may occur during the use of ASD, but without any connection to ASD. The cell proliferation control mechanisms are achieved by the intervention at the "signalling" level by blocking the production of the primordial biochemical signal necessary for triggering the cell division, said signal being represented by an optimal report between the intracellular concentrations of deuterium and hydrogen. ASD reduces or concomitantly blocks the oncogenous genes expression. The modification of the D/H ratio affects the enzymes regulating the cell divisions (kinase + phosphatase).
The medical cosmetic and hygiene products claimed by the invention are detailed ly illustrated in the following examples, which have the role to exemplify and not to limit the present invention. Example 1 CREAM FOR SCALED SKIN In a vessel provided with stirring and heating jacket, previously washed with water and detergent, rinsed with distilled water and sterilized before use, by exposition to UV radiation for 30 minutes, there are introduced the components in the order and amounts mentioned in the table below and they are stirred, at a temperature of 40 ° C, for about 15 minutes. In order to obtain the day cream for dry and normal face skin, the following process steps have to be performed: Step I. In a vessel provided with stirring and heating jacket, clean, previously washed with water and detergent, rinsed with distilled water and sterilized before use by exposing to UV radiation for 30 minutes, there are introduced the components, in the amounts mentioned in the table, in the following order: glycerol monostearate, isopropylmyristate, medicinal paraffin, Emulgin-type natural emulsifier, cetol, and the vessel is heated on a water bath, so that the temperature inside should be of 80°C and it is stirred for minimum 10 minutes, up to the complete melting and homogenizing.
Step II. In another vessel, similarto the above-mentioned one, clean, washed, dried and sterilized, there are introduced, while stirring, the following components: ASD in the amount mentioned in the table above, propylene glycol, glycerin, preservative, and the vessel is heated, while stirring, at a temperature of 80°C inside the vessel, and the stirring is continued up to homogenization. A 10% NaOH solution is added up to a pH of 5.5. The resulting mixture is poured in a thin jet over the mixture obtained in step I, at 80°C, while vigorously stirring, said stirring continuing for minimum 10 minutes up to the complete emulsifying. The emulsion obtained this way is let to cool, while stirring, up to the temperature of 40°C.
Step III. In a vessel provided with stirring and heating jacket, clean, dry and sterilized, there are introduced the oily components in the amounts indicated in the table and in the following order: triglycerides of capric/caprilic acid, solar protection factor, jojoba oil, olive oil, grape-seed oil, Vitamin E. While adding the components, the temperature in the vessel is raised and maintained at 40°C and the homogenization is performed at this temperature. The resulting mixture is maintained at 40°C.
Step IV. In another vessel provided with stirring and heating jacket, clean, dry and sterilized, there are added the following components in order: ASD, alantoin, dimethylsilanol hyaluronate, aloe vera extract, hydrating agent and hydrolyzed collagen. The mixture is heated at 40°C and stirred. Then 10% NaOH solution is added up to a mixture pH of 5.5. Then emulsifier is added, there being obtained an emulsion to which there is added, in a thin jet, the mixture obtained in Step III, while stirring. The emulsion obtained this way is added to the one resulting by mixing the steps I and II, followed by homogenizing, then dosing in the desired packaging. The day cream for normal and dry face skin has the following characteristics: a) organoleptic properties: 1. Aspect: creamy, unctuous, homogenous mass 2. Colour: white with slightly yellow hue 3. Smell: pleasant, depending on the perfuming agent employed b) physical-chemical properties: 1. Oil-in-water - type emulsion 2. Water and volatile substances %: 63.3% 3. Total fatty substances: 35.8% 4. Peroxide index meq/kg 0.38 5. Product pH 5.5 c) microbiological properties: 1 - NTG/ml <100 2 - E.coli/ml absent 3. Staphylococcus coagulazo+/ml absent 4. Ps Aeruginosa/ml absent 5. D + M/ ml < 100 The day cream thus obtained may be applied twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, or whenever necessary, on the areas of interest. The effect upon the face skin is spectacular, making the same velvet like and energizing and giving the same a healthy shine, concomitantly having excellent hydrating, emollient, and antioxidant properties, preventing the occurrence of wrinkles, giving a flexible and silky aspect to the face skin. It blocks the destructive action of the free radicals, by protecting the skin against the oxidative stress and premature aging, by increasing the face skin resistance to the aggression by the smog, ultraviolet radiation and pollutants. It exerts a beneficial effect on vergetures, protects the face skin against the aggressive action of ultraviolet radiations A and B and ensures the functional recovery of the healthy physiological conditions of the face skin. The cream exhibits very good spreading properties; it has a rapid and very good transcutaneous penetration, being included in the "vanishing" class products; it allows a better respiration of the skin and of the mucous membranes; it increases the topical defense power by the immunomodulating effect. Due to its particular efficiency, it is recommended to be used on the sensitive skin, as it presents and excellent cutaneous tolerance, amplified by the absolute lack of toxicity of the deuterium-depleted water and by the association with other specific active principles necessary to the sensitive face skin; it does not produce undesirable side effects upon long-term use, since the ASD is completely non-toxic and non-irritating. The improvement of the cosmetological status was achieved in a time shorter by about 10 - 15%, when concomitantly with the application of the cream there was daily consumed an amount of 1500 ml of water obtained by diluting 1 part of ASD with a deuterium content of 20 ... 30 ppm with 2 parts of still water or carbonated mineral water, divided into 6 ... 8 portions, each of 150 - 200 ml.
