Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de craquage thermique destiné à la décomposition de déchets composés de caoutchouc et de matières plastiques, ainsi qu'à une installation permettant de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé. Selon l'invention, le procédé consiste à réaliser la décomposition thermique de déchets plastiques et à base de caoutchouc, d'une taille comprise entre 15 et 200 mm, à partir de l'énergie générée au cours du procédé par le soutirage d'une portion de l'huile de craquage ainsi obtenue et son utilisation pour chauffer les déchets provenant du réacteur ainsi que pour chauffer et préchauffer le réacteur. Selon l'invention, l'installation comprend: un réacteur de craquage (1) équipé d'un mélangeur en forme d'engrenage à vis (15) avec un axe vertical (23), un système d'engrenage de commande (24, 10, 21) fixé à la paroi cylindrique et à la partie conique inférieure du réacteur, une unité de distribution d'huile soutirée (39, 22), un volume de chauffage (2) dans lequel deux éléments de préchauffage tubulaires et hélicoïdaux (5) passent à travers l'huile soutirée obtenue après la décomposition thermique des écoulements de déchets à base de caoutchouc, ainsi que des aubes (4) permettant d'acheminer les produits en combustion. Sur la paroi externe du réacteur se trouvent deux brûleurs (3) tangentiels et un tuyau d'évacuation des produits en combustion (26), autour duquel s'enroule l'élément de préchauffage (27) et dans lequel s'écoule l'huile soutirée. La partie supérieure du réacteur (1) est équipée d'un tuyau d'évacuation (6) à travers lequel la matière obtenue par la décomposition thermique des déchets est acheminée vers un cyclone de séparation qui, à son tour, est accouplé à un appareil de rectification/refroidissement des gaz, à une colonne de lavage de gaz et à un appareil de condensation de gaz. Les produits obtenus sont destinés à un usage industriel, une partie étant destinée à être soutirée et utilisée dans le cadre du procédé technologique.
