Claims (10)
- A printing form for printing methods having a base layer (1) and a hydrophilic varnish transfer layer (2), characterized in that a filling layer (3) consisting of at least 50% by weight of polyethylene, silicones, nitrile rubbers, butyl rubbers, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride or mixtures thereof is provided between said base layer (1) and said hydrophilic varnish transfer layer (2), wherein said varnish transfer layer (2) has a thickness of from 80 to 400 µm.
- The printing form according to claim 1, characterized in that said varnish transfer layer (2) contains polyurethanes, urethane-modified epoxy resin mixtures, silicones, modified silicones or mixtures thereof.

- The printing form according to at least one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said printing form is a plate or blanket.
- The printing form according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the thickness of said filling layer (3) is greater than the thickness of said hydrophilic varnish transfer layer (2).
- The printing form according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that said hydrophilic varnish transfer layer (2) has a surface tension of above 28, preferably above 40, mN/m.
