Definitions
- the invention relates to a segmental shell made of a plastic material for receiving portions of a food, such as pigs, with separable serving bowls, which have outwardly angled, lying in the composite layer in a common plane edge webs, of which the adjacent portion shells along predetermined breaking lines are connected to each other with appropriate weakening of material, wherein the predetermined breaking lines formed in a waveform and along these wavy lines of weakness fracture the material of the edge webs is broken except for narrow predetermined breaking webs.
- the edge webs of adjacent portion shells extend from each other dividing predetermined breaking lines in a straight line, they are accordingly rectilinear. If one makes the material weakening in the area of the predetermined breaking lines too strong, a labile combination of the portion shells results with one another. This can lead to a breakup of the segment shell during filling and further handling even before the intended compartmentalization of the portion cups. If the plastic material is made relatively thick in the region of the predetermined breaking lines, this makes it more difficult to separate one of the portion dishes from the composite with the others.
- JP2000033930 describes a segment cup intended to cut off segments along the perforated fracture lines and to prevent the folding of the cups along the perforated fracture lines at the time the shell is triggered or the like.
- a plurality of shells are regularly provided by collar portions formed between the ends of the collar portions, and in a plurality of shells, one after the other may be broken off along the break lines in the manner of a separate segment cup.
- Perforated fracture lines are formed in the non-linear shape and arranged to form perforation-connecting parts which need not be disposed on straight lines of the fracture lines. The shells must be cut off. Canceling the non-linear connection parts is not possible due to the material strength of the connecting parts require a lot of effort.
- DE 37 15 442 describes a dual-chamber cup made of plastic or a similar material, especially for yogurt and a grain preparation, with a large chamber, a small chamber, a common, the large and the small chamber surrounding the cover flange and a web with a weakening line acting as a hinge, the the large chamber communicates with the small chamber, wherein the adjacent to the web chamber side of the small chamber shorter than that of the large chamber, characterized in that the hinge acting as a weakening line of the web has substantially the same length as the adjacent chamber side of the small Chamber. This immediately results in a smoother hinge and easier pouring the Kömerzurung in the yogurt.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a segment shell of the aforementioned type, on the one hand for handling after manufacture, for the in particular machine filling, the subsequent transport and further handling has sufficient stability, on the other hand, however, allows separation of the individual serving dishes from the composite without much effort.
- the edge webs of the interconnected portion shells are so to speak interlocked with each other. This results in particular in the common plane in which lie in the composite of the portion cups whose edge webs, high strength.
- the narrow breakaway webs can be arranged in the region of the predetermined breaking lines due to their waveform so that they have different bending lines. This increases the strength of the serving bowls perpendicular to the level of the edge webs in the composite layer.
- the narrow predetermined breaking webs along the predetermined breaking lines can be dimensioned so that nevertheless a slight breakup of the portion cups is possible.
- the predetermined breaking webs can be triangular, rectangular or trapezoidal.
- the predetermined breaking lines have the form of a sine wave or the waveform is at least approximated to that of a sine wave.
- the four serving dishes 1 are shown in the composite layer, each individual shell can break out of the composite to utilize their contents.
- a sensitive food such as pig fat, which depending on Need can be consumed in one or more small portions. Therefore, each of the portion cups 1 is closed by itself after filling by means of a top film, which is sealed onto the respective edge web 4.
- the edge webs 4 of all portion shells 1 lie in a common plane. Between the edge webs 4 adjacent Portionsschalen 1 break lines 5 are formed, which have a special feature, because they run in a waveform.
- the predetermined breaking lines 5 are corrugated in the manner of a sine curve, as a result of which the edge webs 4 of adjacent portion shells 1 are interlocked with one another by the pronounced bulges and indentations.
- the plastic material of which the entire segmental shell consists is broken in the region of the predetermined breaking lines 5, and the connection between adjacent edge webs 4 consists only in the form of narrow predetermined breaking webs 6, which bridge in the manner of a thread section existing by the predetermined breaking line 5 dividing line.
- each half-wave of the waveform of the predetermined breaking lines 5 two of the narrow predetermined breaking webs 6 are present, of which two adjacent - like FIG. 2 makes clear - run in different directions, so are not parallel to each other.
- the narrow predetermined breaking webs 6 are each arranged outside the apex areas of the waveform of the predetermined breaking lines 5.
- the predetermined breaking webs 6 have the same distances from each other along each predetermined breaking line 5.
- the outwardly angled edge webs 4 of the four serving dishes 1 adjoin one another with corners 7 which are each flattened so that a small plate 8 is formed between the four corners 7 made of the plastic material.
- rectilinearly extending predetermined breaking webs 9 is enclosed.
- the plate 8 has a square or rhombic shape, and the diagonals of this shape are aligned with the predetermined breaking lines 5 between the edge webs 4 of the serving dishes 1.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a segmental shell made of a plastic material for receiving portions of a food, such as pigs, with separable serving bowls, which have outwardly angled, lying in the composite layer in a common plane edge webs, of which the adjacent portion shells along predetermined breaking lines are connected to each other with appropriate weakening of material, wherein the predetermined breaking lines formed in a waveform and along these wavy lines of weakness fracture the material of the edge webs is broken except for narrow predetermined breaking webs.
In known segment shells of this type, the edge webs of adjacent portion shells extend from each other dividing predetermined breaking lines in a straight line, they are accordingly rectilinear.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a segment shell of the aforementioned type, on the one hand for handling after manufacture, for the in particular machine filling, the subsequent transport and further handling has sufficient stability, on the other hand, however, allows separation of the individual serving dishes from the composite without much effort.
This object is achieved with a segment shell of the type mentioned according to the invention in that the predetermined breaking lines are each formed along adjacent edge webs in waveform, and that the narrow break webs are arranged in the region of the predetermined breaking lines due to their waveform so that have the different bending lines. ,
For the invention is essential that due to the wavy lines of weakness, the edge webs of the interconnected portion shells are so to speak interlocked with each other. This results in particular in the common plane in which lie in the composite of the portion cups whose edge webs, high strength. On the other hand, the narrow breakaway webs can be arranged in the region of the predetermined breaking lines due to their waveform so that they have different bending lines. This increases the strength of the serving bowls perpendicular to the level of the edge webs in the composite layer. On the other hand, therefore, the narrow predetermined breaking webs along the predetermined breaking lines can be dimensioned so that nevertheless a slight breakup of the portion cups is possible.
In principle, the predetermined breaking webs can be triangular, rectangular or trapezoidal. In a preferred embodiment, the predetermined breaking lines have the form of a sine wave or the waveform is at least approximated to that of a sine wave.
Further advantageous features of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

In the composite layer, the

In the preferred square or rectangular outline of the segmental shell, the outwardly
