- Die Position der Markierung nach 1. und 2. nur unter großem Aufwand verschoben werden kann, zum Beispiel nach Seilkürzungen oder wenn das Fahrbetriebsmittel gegenüber dem Seil versetzt werden muß

- Keine längeren Betriebsstillstände zum Markieren der bestimmten Förderseilstelle mit Abspannen, Öffnen des Förderseiles, Einlegen von Metallstücken oder Kapseln mit dem radioaktivem Isotop C60.
- Keine Eingriffe und Veränderungen am Förderseil
- Schnelles Löschen einer Markierung (Festpunkt löschen)
- Schnelles Verschieben der markierten Stelle im Förderseil (Festpunkt verschieben)
- Keine Seilspezialisten erforderlich
