Description

With reference to the figures, the tablet 1 for forming a rack of a well-known display in the furniture intended for distribution in large areas, comes in principle to rest on two consoles (2) extending horizontally and / or inclined to from uprights 3 themselves secured to a base (not shown in the figures) or directly attached to a vertical wall bracket. According to FIG. 1, the brackets 2 are, in known manner, obtained in metal plate of sufficient thickness to support the shelving shelves and comprise on their rear part hooks 4 which cooperate with a plurality of notches 5 arranged in the longitudinal axis of each vertical upright 3 in a regular pitch for adjusting the height of the consoles 2 and therefore tablets they support.

The tablet 1, according to a characteristic variant of the invention, consists of a metal skin 6 of constant thickness determined according to the desired dimensions and maximum loads; without being a necessity, the width of the tablet 1 is taken equal to the length of the consoles 2 which support it. As is already known, the tablet 1 has a nose 7 along its length; this nose 7 can be simply obtained by a longitudinal folding of the skin 6 downwards and according to a height conventionally to receive a sign of the products supported by the tablet 1 or information or lighting for the immediately lower tablet for example. According to Figures 2 to 4, there is provided on the inner face of each side skirt, at least one raised element 10 extending inwardly and under the shelf 1; the shape of this element is chosen to cooperate by elastic recess with a hollow element 11 of complementary shape to the raised element 10 and provided on the outer face of each console-plate 2 to ensure the reversible locking of the tablet 1 when it is in position on its consoles 2 and this, both for the solicitations in horizontal translation in the vertical direction; it is understood that this device allows, by a simple clipping of the tablet 1 on its consoles 2, to ensure a mounting and conversely a disassembly without tools extremely practical while providing a general strength to the display thus formed.

It goes without saying that the perfect stabilization of the tablet 1 will be obtained by providing on each side skirt 8 two raised elements 10 arranged at the front and rear as shown in Figure 3 for example and, in correspondence, two hollow elements 11 on the consoles-plates 2. It is clear that neither the positioning nor the number of relief elements 10 and hollow 11 can not change the scope of the invention.

According to a preferred variant of the invention, the raised elements 10 on the skirts 8 are obtained by permanent deformation of the material either by stamping or blasting or the like, when the tablet 1 is made of metal, or by molding if it is made of plastic This deformation is performed to provide a cleat that extends perpendicularly to the inner face of a skirt 8 in the direction of the opposite skirt. In the metallic execution of the tablet 1, the cleat is designed as shown in Figure 4 showing on an enlarged scale the engagement of said latch with the recessed portion 11 of a console 2.

In this respect, the recessed element 11 disposed on the external face of the plate brackets 2 is a simple piercing of the plate 2 in a shape and dimensions that allow at least partial interference with the planned relief element 10 on the skirts 8 of the tablet 1 to prevent any displacement in vertical translation and / or horizontal as previously said. An example of this right embedding is shown on the partial detail and in enlarged scale of Figure 4.

It goes without saying that the drilling provided according to the preceding variant could result simply from a depression of the plate 2 in a shape and dimensions allowing at least partial embedding of a raised element 10 skirts 8 of the tablet 1 for prevent any displacement in vertical translation and / or horizontal thereof, when mounted on its consoles 2; it is quite clear that this depression achieved on the consoles-plates 2, results from a deformation of the hollow material, obtained by stamping, stripping or the like if the tablet 1 is metal or by molding if it is in plastic material.

According to another variant of the invention, the raised elements 10 on the side skirts 8 are here obtained by attached elements (not shown in the figures), such as a bolt or screw head, a pressure spring, a rivet or the like, secured to the inner face of the skirt 8 and extending perpendicularly thereto towards the opposite skirt. This particular embodiment is less attractive than the preferred variant in that it is then necessary at the time of manufacture to take the tablet 1 to arrange the screws or rivets or the like on the skirts 8 which corresponds to an additional production operation and, therefore, to additional production costs.

It is obvious that any other solution for perform the operation of the hollows and reliefs respectively between the consoles 2 and the tablets 1 would not depart from the invention, the executions that have been presented in the description that has just been given are only as a non-limiting example of the invention.

Claims (7)

1. - A display table (1) of square or rectangular shape, that includes a flap (7) at the front for presentation purposes, designed for a furniture item such as a display unit in retail outlets, mounted on two brackets (2) that are parallel and spaced by a distance that is more or less equal to the width of the display table (1), fixed at the same height on two uprights (3) that are normally vertical and supporting the assembly, in such a manner that the display table (1) is horizontal or slightly inclined toward the front, that is toward the flap (7), and downwards, characterised in that the display table (1) is created from a flat, thin shelf (6) in metal or in a plastic material, of constant thickness, of a length that is at least equal to the separation of the brackets (2) and of a width that is at least equal to the length of the brackets (2) measured from the uprights (3), with the said shelf (6) having on its two sides parallel to the brackets and at least on one or other of the perpendicular sides, downward rebates (7, 8), created by folding or moulding in directions parallel to the sides to form skirts (8) laterally overhanging the length of the external face of the brackets (2) and the flap (7) of the display table frontally for example, and in that on the internal face of each lateral skirt (8) at least one relief element (10) is provided, extending inward and under the display table (1), of suitable shape to fit by elastic insertion into complementary hollow elements (11) provided on the outer face of each bracket (2) and thus achieving reversible securing of the display table in position on its brackets (2), both in translation and elevation.
2. - A display table (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the relief element (10) on a lateral skirt (8) is created by permanent deformation of the material, that is by moulding, punch-moulding, rivet-forming or similar, in order to create a post that extends perpendicularly to the inner face of the skirt (8) in the direction of the opposite skirt.
3. - A display table (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the relief element (10) on a lateral skirt (8) is created from a projecting element such as a bolt-head or screw-head, a pressure spring, a rivet or similar, attached to the inner face of the skirt (8) and extending perpendicularly to the latter in the direction of the opposite skirt.
4. - A display table (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the hollow element (11) on the outer face of the brackets (2) is a penetration of the shelf of such shape and such dimensions as to allow at least partial accommodation of a relief element (10) of the skirts (8) of the display table in order to prevent any movement, in vertical and/or horizontal translation, of the said display table when it is mounted on its brackets (2).
5. - A display table (7.) according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the hollow element (11) on the outer face of the brackets (2) is created by stamping the shelf, in such a shape and such dimensions as to allow an at least partial tight fit of a relief element (10) of the skirts (8) of the display table (1) in order to prevent any movement, in vertical and/or horizontal translation, of the said display table when it is mounted on its brackets.
6. - A display table (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the stamping is a result of a hollow deformation of the material by punch-moulding, rivet-forming or similar if the display table (1) is in metal, or by moulding if the display table (1) is in a plastic material.
7. - A display table according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that each lateral skirt (8) is equipped with at least two relief elements (10), and in that the brackets (2) are also equipped to match, with at least two hollow elements (11).
