Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Optikeinheit für Doudenoskope, bei denen das von einem beleuchteten Objekt entlang einer Richtung Z reflektierte Licht in dieser Richtung durch ein optisches System hindurch im wesentlichen senkrecht auf einen CCD-Chip geleitet wird, wodurch die Optikeinheit gegenüber dem Stand der Technik konstruktiv einfacher, kleiner und unanfälliger gegen Undichtigkeit gebaut werden kann.
Description
Optikeinheit für Seitenblick-Duodenoskope
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Optikeinheit für flexible Video-Seitenblick- Duodenoskope nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Nideo-Duodenoskope finden in der Medizintechnik ihren Einsatzort, wo im Inneren des menschlichen Körpers, und zwar insbesondere im Duodeno-Papilla-Gallenkanal, Untersuchungen oder medizinische Eingriffe vorgenommen werden sollen.
Die Duodenoskope zeichnen sich unter anderem dadurch aus, dass optische Aufnahmen aus dem Inneren des Körpers nach außen übertragen werden. Dabei wird Licht bis an das distale Kopfende des Duodenoskops geleitet, um die zu untersuchenden Bereiche zu . beleuchten. Insbesondere bei Duodenoskopen wird dabei vorzugsweise ein Bereich seitlich des Kopfes beleuchtet oder bearbeitet (Seitenblick-Duodenoskop). Das von diesen Bereichen reflektierte Licht trifft seitlich in den Kopf, wird von einem optischen
System aufbereitet und noch im Kopf einem sogenannten CCD-Chip zugeleitet. Dieser Chip wandelt die Lichtsignale in elektrische Signale um, welche über eine geeignete Verbindung am proximalen Enden abgenommen und ausgewertet werden können.
Aus der Praxis sind Duodenoskope bekannt, bei denen die vom Objekt reflektierten
Lichtstrahlen durch das optische System hindurchgelangen, um sodann an einer Umlenkeinrichtung, insbesondere einem Prisma, umgelenkt zu werden, um dann - ggfls. unter weiterer optischer Aufbereitung, auf die Oberfläche des CCD-Chips aufzutreffen. Der Nachteil solcher Anordnungen besteht zum Einen darin, dass die bekannten Um- lenkeinrichtungen einen erhöhten konstruktiven Aufwand bedeuten. Weiterhin nehmen sie im Kopf des Duodenoskops einen gewissen Raum ein, der einer Minimierung der Kopfgröße im Wege steht. Auch ist eine solche Umlenkeinrichtung mit Verlusten behaftet, die sich auf die Wiedergabe und Auswertung der Lichtsignale negativ auswirken.
Wesentliches Problem solcher Duodenoskope ist darüber hinaus die Hygiene. Die für die operativen Eingriffe erforderliche Reinigung der Komponenten des Duodenoskops birgt die Gefahr, die Komponenten selber zu beschädigen, wobei insbesondere auch das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in den Kopf oder bspw. in die optischen Komponenten zählt. So sind die optischen Einheiten schwer abzudichten.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, eine Optikeinheit anzubieten, welche bei kleinerer Baugröße eine bessere Bildwiedergabe ermöglicht, leichter zu reinigen und unanfälliger für Verschmutzungen ist.
Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch eine Optikeinheit nach Anspruch 1.
Die Erfindung geht von der Erkenntnis aus, dass eine Verkürzung der Kopflänge (in Längsrichtung des Duodenoskops) insbesondere dann vorteilhaft möglich ist, wenn der CCD-Chip unmittelbar unter dem optischen System angeordnet wird, so dass die im
Wesentlichen entlang einer axialen Richtung Z in die Optikeinheit einfallenden und aufbereiteten Lichtsignale unmittelbar und vorzugsweise lotrecht zur Richtung Z auf die Oberfläche des CCD-Chips auftreffen. Der Chip wird dabei also nicht wie im Stand der Technik bisher üblich durch ein Prisma oder dergleichen um ein Maß von der axialen Richtung des optischen Systems abgewinkelt angeordnet. Eine Umlenkeinrichtung ist jetzt überflüssig. Das optische System und der CCD-Chip bilden dabei die wesentlichen Bestandteile der Optikeinheit.
Die Lichtsignale, die von dem beleuchteten Objekt seitlich in den Kopf und damit in das optische System eintreten, werden also in diesem aufbereitet, beispielsweise indem sie durch ein Linsenpaket hindurchgeleitet werden. Das optische System ist im Wesentlichen entlang einer axialen Richtung Z angeordnet, so dass die aufbereiteten Lichtsignale das optische System auch entlang der axialen Richtung Z wieder verlassen. Unter Verzicht auf eine Umlenkeinrichtung und unter Anordnung des CCD-Chips unmittelbar in dieser Richtung Z werden Umlenkverluste vermieden, so dass vorteilhaft eine bessere
Bildqualität zu erreichen ist. Insbesondere liegen beleuchtetes Objekt, optisches System und CCD-Chip also im wesentlichen auf einer Geraden.
Als weiterer Vorteil ergibt sich außerdem, dass der Kopf des Duodenoskops einerseits schon mangels Umlenkeinrichtung insgesamt kleiner baut, und weiterhin durch die
Umordnung des CCD-Chips in die axiale Richtung Z eine Minimierung insbesondere der Längsausdehnung des Duodenoskopkopfes möglich wird. In einer Betrachtung in Längsrichtung des Duodenoskops vom proximalen zum distalen Ende liegt der CCD- Chip nunmehr nicht mehr zwischen dem proximalen Ende und dem optischen System, sondern quasi auf gleicher Höhe mit dem optischen System, so dass der Kopf um die dadurch eingesparte Länge kürzer gebaut werden kann.
In einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist das optische System mit geeigneten Linsen ausgestattet, so dass die eingefangenen Lichtsignale gebündelt oder gestreut auf den CCD-Chip bzw. seine lichtempfindliche Oberfläche auftreffen. Durch geeignete Wahl des Linsensystems lässt sich die Bildqualität erheblich verbessern, ohne dass Umlenkverluste oder Brechungseffekte durch die Umlenkeimichtung dieses Ergebnis verschlechtern.
In einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausführungsform stellt die Optikeinheit eine einteilige
Einheit dar, die insbesondere das optische System und den CCD-Chip aufweist. Unter "einteilig" ist hierbei insbesondere zu verstehen, dass das optische System und der CCD-Chip ortsfest zueinander in einer als solche zunächst beweglichen Optikeinheit angeordnet sind. Denkbar ist insbesondere eine im wesentlichen zylindrische Konstruk- tion. Der Vorteil liegt in der modulartigen Anwendbarkeit. CCD-Chip und optisches
System können - bspw. unter besonderen Reinheitsbedingungen - zunächst zueinander ausgerichtet und fixiert werden, bevor sie gemeinsam in den Kopf des Duodenoskops eingesetzt werden.
Besonders vorteilhaft kann die Optikeinheit dabei durch Verkleben, Verschrauben, Verrasten oder Verschweißen der Komponenten, insbesondere von optischem System und CCD-Chip gebildet werden. Dabei können statt unmittelbar dieser Komponenten auch Trägerelemente miteinander verbunden werden, die ihrerseits die Komponenten tragen. Durch die genannten Befestigungsarten ergibt sich einerseits eine besonders leichte Montage, andererseits kann die Optikeinheit vor der Montage insbesondere noch außerhalb des Kopfes in sich gegen Feuchte abgedichtet werden, was mittels geeigneter Kleber, Dichtelemente und dergleichen bewirkt werden kann. So kann das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in die nach dem Stand der Technik bspw. erst im Kopf zusammenge- setzte Optikeinheit, etwa zwischen optisches System und CCD-Chip, vermieden werden.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausfülτrungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, die Optikeinheit in eine weitgehend komplementäre Öffnung des Kopfes (2) einsetzbar bzw. enmehmbar zu gestalten. Durch Einsetzen der Einheit als Ganzes in den Kopf vereinfacht sich dessen
Montage, da insbesondere auch auf die nach dem Stand der Technik übliche Umlenkvorrichtung verzichtet wird. Die gesamte Einheit lässt sich in einer vorzugsweise in Z- Richtung verlaufenen axialen Steckbewegung in den Kopf einsetzen. Dort kann sie mit dem Kopf verschweißt oder verklebt werden. Auch ein nachträgliches Entfernen bzw. Austauschen ist vorteilhaft einfach möglich, da die bei der Umlenkvorrichtung nach dem Stand der Technik notwendige winklige Konstruktion der Optikeinheit hier entfällt.
Besonders vorteilhaft lassen sich auch verschiedene Bauwinkel zwischen der Hauptlängsachse des Duodenoskops und der Richtung Z realisieren. Nach dem Stand der Technik könnte dort unter Beibehaltung der CCD-Chip-Anordnung im Kopf nur ein anderer Umlenkwinkel des Prismas eine geänderte Anordnung des optischen System ausgleichen. Die Optikeinheit insgesamt muss also verändert werden. Will man CCD- Chip, Umlenkvorrichtung und optisches System unverändert zueinander bestehen lassen, so muss der Kopf grundlegend umkonstraiert werden, was noch weniger in Frage kommt.
Viel einfacher erlaubt die Optikeinheit nach der vorliegenden Erfindung auch verschiedene Einfallwinkel. Lediglich die bspw. zylinderförmige Ausnehmung im Kopf des Duodenoskops, in welche die Optikeinheit eingesetzt wird, muss in ihrer Lage anders vorgesehen werden. In der neuen Lage und damit unter einem neuen Winkel zur
Hauptlängsachse des Duodenoskops lässt sich die gesamte Optikeinheit einsetzen. So kann bspw. ein andere Bereich außerhalb des Kopfes als Bild erfasst werden.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausführungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, dass die Optikein- heit in die Öffnung des Kopfes (2) klebbar, schweißbar, rastbar oder schraubbar einsetzbar ist. Hier kann je nach Material der Optikeinheit bzw. ihrer Komponenten vorteilhaft ein geeignetes Verfaliren verwendet werden, mit dem insbesondere die Dichtheit des Kopfes gegen in das Kopfinnere dringende Substanzen sichergestellt werden soll. Bspw. der Bereich zwischen der Optikeinheit und der sie aufnehmenden Öffnung kann dabei mit Dichtmittel verschlossen werden.
Die Optikeinheit oder deren Komponenten können insbesondere aus Metall, Glas, Kunststoff oder anderen medizintechnisch geeigneten Materialien bestehen.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausfünrungsformen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
Eine Ausfül rungsform der Erfindung wird nachfolgend an Hand eines Figurenbeispiels erläutert. Die einzige Figur 1 zeigt dabei eine schematische Schnittdarstellung durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Duodenoskopkopf.
Figur 1 zeigt insbesondere den Kopf 2 eines Duodenoskops 1. Der beispielhafte Duodenoskopkopf weist an seinem distalen Ende einen Wasserkanal 9 auf. Weiterhin ist ein Lichtleiter 6 vorgesehen, der den Austritt von Beleuchtungslicht seitlich am Duodenoskopkopf 2 ermöglicht. Auch ein Absaugkanal 4 ist angedeutet.
Das durch den Lichtleiter 6 beleuchtete Objekt reflektiert Lichtsignale L. Die Lichtsignale L treffen in das optische System 3, welches im Wesentlichen axial entlang einer Richtung Z ausgebildet ist. Das optischen System weist Linsen und weitere optische Elemente auf, die zur Bündelung oder Filterung der Lichtsignale geeignet sind.
In der Richtung Z ist ein CCD-Chip 5 angeordnet. Der CCD-Chip 5 weist eine Oberfläche 7 auf, auf welcher die aufbereiteten Lichtsignale L auftreffen. Die Oberfläche 7 ist im Wesentlichen lotrecht zur axialen Richtung Z angeordnet, so dass die Lichtsignale, die vom Objekt kommend oben in das optische System 3 hinein- bzw. unten aus diesem hinaustreten, im wesentlichen senkrecht auf dem CCD-Chip auftreffen.
Die im CCD-Chip umgewandelten Signale werden dann dem proximalen Ende des Duodenoskopfs (in der Figur 1 nach links weg) zugeführt.

a) einem optischen System (3) zur optischen Aufbereitung von Lichtsignalen (L), wobei die Lichtsignale (L) al) von außerhalb des Kopfes (2) in einer axialen Richtung (Z) in das optische System (3) eintreten und a2) das optische System (3) im wesentlichen in dieser Richtung (Z) durchlaufen, und mit b) einem dem optischen System (3) benachbarten CCD-Chip (5) zur Umwandlung der auf einer Oberfläche (7) des CCD-Chips (5) auftref- fenden Lichtsignale (L),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
c) die Richtung (Z) die Oberfläche (7) im wesentlichen lotrecht durch- stößt.
2. Optikeinheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das optische System (3) ein Linsensystem ist.
3. Optikeinheit nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das optische System (3) und der CCD-Chip (5) zu einer einteiligen Einheit zusammengesetzt sind.
4. Optikeinheit nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einheit durch Verkleben, Verschrauben, Verrasten oder Verschweißen der Komponenten der Optikeinheit gebildet wird.
5. Optikeinheit nach einem der vorigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Optikeinheit in eine Öffnung des Kopfes (2) einsetzbar und/oder entnehmbar ist.
6. Optikeinheit nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Optikeinheit in die Öffnung des Kopfes (2) klebbar, schweißbar, rastbar oder schraubbar einsetzbar ist.
7. Optikeinheit nach einem der vorigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lichtsignale (L) in der Optikeinheit nicht von einer Umlenkeinrichtung, insbe- sondere von einem Prisma, umgelenkt werden.
