Abstract

An air conditioner including an auxiliary evaporator (15) in which cooling water for cooling an engine (31) is circulated, a main cooling path through which the cooling water passing through the engine (31) flows back through an outdoor heat exchanger (19) to a cooling water pump (39), an auxiliary cooling path through which the cooling water passing through the engine (31) flows back through the auxiliary evaporator (15) to the cooling water pump (39), an electrically-operated three-way valve (37) for distributing the cooling water to the main cooling path and the auxiliary cooling path, and a controller (61) for controlling the electrically-operated three-way valve (37) on the basis of the temperature difference between the water temperature of the cooling water and a target temperature so that the cooling water is distributed to both the main cooling path and the auxiliary cooling path or to only the auxiliary cooling path.
