Es ist vorgesehen, dass das Wasserübertragungsmittel ein besonderer antibakterieller Kunstfilz, zum Beispiel ein Nadelfilz aus Polyester ist. Geeignet ist ein antibakterieller Kunstfilz der Firma Vereinigte Filzfabriken AG (VFG). Am Auslauf des manuellen Befeuchters 1 sind Schienen 1121 bis 1125 auf der Stufe 112 angebracht. Den o.g. Lösungen zu den Teilaufgaben ist gemeinsam, dass die Wartung des manuellen Befeuchters von oben erfolgen kann, was eine entsprechende aufeinander abgestimmte Bauweise voraussetzt, so dass die nach oben aufklappbare Befeuchterschwinge 13 in einer Wartungsposition einrastbar ist, was ebenso wie eine ausschließlich von oben lösbare Befestigung über die Verbindungselemente ein Einfüllen erleichtert und ein Verschütten von Wasser vermeiden hilft, wobei die Abdeckung trichterförmige Wassereinfüllöffnung 163 durch die in Betriebsposition gebrachte Befeuchterschwinge 13, die Verdunstung einschränkt, was die Wartungsperiode verlängert. Zur Verlängerung der Wartungsperiode tragen das antibakterielle Wasserübertragungsmittel 18 und Befeuchtungsmittel 15 bei, wobei zur Erleichterung der Wartung das Befeuchtungsmittel 15 in einer von oben leicht zugänglichen Befeuchterschwinge 13 angeordnet ist. Die Abmaße des Befeuchtungsmittels 15 quer zur Transportrichtung der Poststücke sind so gewählt, dass eine ausreichende Benetzung auch von langen quer liegenden Laschen gewährleistet wird, wobei zugleich die mit dem unteren Wasserübertragungsmittel in Kontakt befindliche Filzfläche vergrößert wird. Beispielsweise ist die Kontaktfläche nahe am Laschenfalz 14 mm, jedoch an der Laschenspitze schon 29 mm breit. Der Rand c der Kontaktfläche 153 nahe einer Anlege- und Führungswand 11 des Oberteils 10 in Transportrichtung weist somit eine kleinere Breite auf, als deren von der Anlege- und Führungswand 11 beabstandeter Rand a, der in Transportrichtung auf 29 mm verbreitert ist. Die der Kontaktfläche des Befeuchtungsmittels hat eine dreiecksegelartige bis trapezartige Form. Vorzugsweise wird die Kontaktfläche vom Laschenfalz bis zur Laschenspitze in derselben Weise größer, wie die zu benetzende Klebefläche im ungünstigsten Fall zunimmt. Die Kontaktfläche sollte größer als A = 600 mm2 und kleiner als A = 2500 mm2 sein. Die rechteckförmige Fläche 151 im Klemmbereich und die viereckförmige Fläche 152 im Übergangsbereich sollten größer 5 x 60 mm2 und kleiner 10 x 80 mm2 sein. Die Filzdicken und Dichten sind so abgestimmt, dass der obere Filz flexibel, dünn gestaltet ist, so dass er auch bei unebenem unteren Filz oder ungünstigem Toleranzaufbau, d.h. Claims (10)
- An arrangement for a manually operated moistener having a sword (12) and a moistener wing (13) to which is fed a postal item in a lying position that has on its underside a flap that is folded, but not yet stuck onto the envelope, characterized in that the moistener wing (13), that can be folded to the top and that, by at least one catch contour (131, 132) on a respective hinge (123, 126), is pivoted and spring-mounted on the sword (12), can be engaged into a maintenance position, that the upper part (10) and bottom part (14) of the moistener are connected by fixing elements (101, 102, 103, 104) that are separable exclusively from above, that an antibacterial water transfer means (18) extending with its lower end into the bottom part (14) is angled on its upper other end and abuts on an antibacterial upper moistening means (15) in the upper part (10) so that both have an enlarged contact area (153) with each other for water transfer, said moistening means (15) being arranged with its clamping area (151) in a clamping groove (134) of the moistener wing (13), wherein the edge (a) of the upper moistening means (15) that is more distant from a positioning and guide wall (11) of the upper part (10) has a larger width than its edge (c) located close to the positioning and guide wall (11).
- An arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the sword (12) has a first cut-out (128) and is arranged on a sword carrier (16) that has a cam-shaped elastic protuberance (166) in an opening below the first cut-out (128) and a recessed grip (161) for manually folding up the moistener wing (13) up to the stop (168) on the back of a plane splash wall (165) of a funnel-shaped water filler opening (163) and that way putting it into a maintenance position in which a holding contour (138) of the moistening wing (13) engages between the protuberance (166) and the stop (168) in the opening of the sword carrier (16).
- An arrangement according to claim 2, characterized in that a water filler neck (162) lies, with its large oval water filler opening (163) oriented in front towards the operator, covered, below the spring-mounted moistener wing that can be put into the maintenance position, in an arm of the sword carrier (16) extending downstream the sword (12) in direction of the flow of postal items.
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a packing (19) is arranged between upper part (10) and bottom part (14) of the moistener (1), that openings (1062 and 1063) for the connecting elements (102 and 103) are worked into the back side (106) of the upper part (10), while respective openings (192 and 193) are provided in the packing (19) and in the dome (142 and 143) in the bottom part (14), by means of which upper part (10) and bottom part (14) can be connected separably from above, that the arm of the sword carrier (16) is arranged on a table-top (100) of the upper part (10) of the moistener (1) and is connected, through an opening (164) in the tapering end of the arm, through an opening (1004) in the table-top as well as through an opening (194) in the packing (19), to a bolt (144) of the bottom part (14) of the moistener (1) by means of a fixing element (104) separably from above.
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a first step (111) standing on the table-top (100) is arranged on a positioning and guide wall (11) of the upper part (10) and that, downstream the first step (111) in direction of the flow of postal items, a higher further step (112) is arranged on the positioning and guide wall (11) at the exit of the manual moistener (1) that carries supporting rails (1121, 1122, 1123, 1124, 1125) in order to ensure a smooth passing of a postal item to the franking machine, and that, upstream the first step (111) in direction of the flow of postal items, a lower inclined entrance surface (110) is arranged on the positioning and guide wall (11).
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that an opening (1101) for a fixing element (101) is worked into the inclined entrance surface (110) in order to allow, though an opening (191) in the packing (19), for a fixing separable from above of the upper part (10) on a bolt (141) of the bottom part (14).
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that an opening (1005) is provided in the table-top (100) of the upper part (10) that receives the water filler neck (162) of the sword carrier (16), a respective opening (195) being provided in the packing (19).
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a main opening (190) is provided in the packing (19) extending from the middle of the first step up to the downstream edge of the packing (19), said main opening (190) receiving the water transfer means (18) the one end of which extends into the water stored inside the tank (140), while the other end of the water transfer means (18) passes through a slot-type opening (114) to a supporting area (115) of the upper part (10) that is arranged on the bottom of a shaft (113) within the first step (111), said shaft (113) extending up to the further step (112), and that the water transfer means (18) is clamped into a second slot-type opening (117) in the junction bevel (116) to the further step (112).
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the moistening means (15) has a triangular-sail to trapezoidal form of the contact surface (153) the water-storage capacity of which increases with the distance from the positioning and guide wall (11).
- An arrangement according to claims 1 to 8, characterized in that nose-shaped spacer elements (1111, 1112, 1113, 1114, 1115) are arranged on the first step (111) between the shaft (113) and an edge that is formed by the inclined entrance surface (110) and the first step (111).
