Description

The invention relates to an overvoltage protection magazine for a device of telecommunications technology according to the preamble of claim 1.
Aus der DE 34 30 922 A1 ist ein Überspannungsabieiter- und Stromsicherungs-Magazin bekannt, bei dem für jeden Leitungsweg mit Zuleitung und Ableitung eine Stromsicherung und/oder ein Überspannungs-Doppelableiter im Uberspannungsschutzmagazin mittels Kontaktfedern in eine Halterung einklemmbar sind, wobei an der Unterseite des steckbar ausgebildetenFrom DE 34 30 922 A1 a Überspannungsabieiter- and current fuse magazine is known in which for each conduction path with supply and discharge a current fuse and / or a surge double in the overvoltage protection magazine by means of contact springs are clamped in a holder, wherein at the bottom of the pluggable trained
Überspannungsschutzmagazins je Leitungsweg an der Vorder- und Rückseite je eine Kontaktbahn als Trennelement vorgesehen ist, die mit je einem Pol der Stromsicherung verbunden ist, wobei die Pole der Stromsicherungen mit je einem Pol des Überspannungs-Doppelableiters verbunden sind und die Mittelkontakte derOvervoltage protection magazine per line path at the front and back each contact strip is provided as a separator, which is connected to one pole of the current fuse, the poles of the current fuses are each connected to a pole of the overvoltage Doppelableiters and the center contacts of the
Overvoltage surge arresters are located on a common earth rail, which is connected to two Erdabgriffklemmen. A disadvantage of the known overvoltage protection magazine is its large installation space, in particular because both the overvoltage double arrester and the current fuses are each arranged in two rows.
Aus der DE 198 18 477 A1 ist ein Uberspannungsschutzmagazin für eine Einrichtung der Telekommunikationstechnik bekannt, mit einem Gehäuse, mehreren Kontakten, die sich mit einem Abschnitt von der Gehäuserückseite erstrecken und im angebrachten Zustand Kontakte der Einrichtung der Telekommunikationstechnik abgreifen, und zumindest einem Erdkontakt, wobei in das Uberspannungsschutzmagazin mehrere Überspannungsabieiter einsetzbar sind, die Beinchen aufweisen, die im eingesetzten Zustand mit den Kontakten unmittelbar elektrisch leitend verbunden sind, wobei die Kontakte jeweils einen Kontaktschlitz aufweisen, der durch zwei weitgehend in einer Ebene liegende Kontaktschenkel definiert ist, die Überspannungsabieiter von derFrom DE 198 18 477 A1 an overvoltage protection magazine for a device of telecommunications technology is known, with a housing, a plurality of contacts, which extend with a portion of the back of the housing and tap in the attached state contacts the device of the telecommunications technology, and at least one ground contact in the overvoltage protection magazine several Überspannungsabieiter are used, which have legs which are electrically connected directly in the inserted state with the contacts, the contacts each having a contact slot which is defined by two largely lying in a plane contact legs, the surge arrester of the
Front of the housing in the direction of its legs are used so that in the inserted state, the respective legs extend in a direction substantially parallel to the contact slot in these and the surge arrester are alternately at least two different levels with respect to the depth extension of the overvoltage protection magazine, so that they are arranged offset from one another when viewed from the top. As a result, the overvoltage protection magazine can do without a printed circuit board. A disadvantage of the known overvoltage protection magazine is still relatively large space and the quite expensive production.
Der Erfindung liegt daher das technische Problem zugrunde, einThe invention is therefore based on the technical problem, a
Overvoltage protection magazine to create, which is easy to manufacture with little space.
The solution of the technical problem results from the subject matter with the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
For this purpose, the surge arresters are arranged in a row on a printed circuit board. This allows a simple structure with simple guidance of the conductor tracks, wherein the circuit board can be kept relatively narrow.
Durch Erwärmen der Leiterplatte fallen die SMD-Bauelemente ab, so dass Leiterplatte undPreferably, the surge arresters are designed as SMD surge arresters, whereby a simple assembly of the printed circuit board is possible. Another advantage of the SMD components is the easier recycling. By heating the circuit board, the SMD components fall off, so that PCB and
Surge arresters are easy to disconnect. In the case of surge arresters with contact legs, on the other hand, tilting often occurs, with the result that the components must be separated manually from the printed circuit board.
In a further preferred embodiment, the housing is formed in one piece, which reduces the manufacturing cost. This is particularly possible because of Contact with the electrical contacts of the device via the contact pads on the circuit board takes place. Since the circuit board is relatively rigid, the structured circuit board can be easily inserted through openings provided in the housing. In prior art embodiments where separate contacts are soldered to the circuit board or attached directly to the surge arresters, the clearance between the contacts is relatively large, such that integral housings are impractical.
In a further preferred embodiment, the housing is open at the top and covered by an insulator strip. As a result, contact protection for the user is created by simple means. Preferably, the insulator strip is formed as a plastic strip, which can be used if necessary, at the same time for labeling.
In a further preferred embodiment, the housing is formed on the insides with pads for the insulator strip so that it is sufficiently supported on the housing.
Indentations are formed slotted in the upper side of the housing and the insulating strip is guided between the slots. As a result, in addition to a sufficient contact surface of the insulating strips is fixed and the housing mechanically stabilized.
In a further preferred embodiment, the edges of the housing are offset at the top at the sides, so that the insulating strip terminates with the top of the housing. This ensures that the edges of the housing when pressing the overvoltage magazine does not press into the fingers of the fitter and this can press over the full width. In a further preferred embodiment, the housing is formed on the front side with at least one slot, can be levered out by means of a tool of the insulating strip.
In a further preferred embodiment, the ground contact is designed as a fork contact and connected via the fork contact with the circuit board, wherein the fork contact is preferably designed as a double fork contact. As a result, a solder-free connection of the fork contact with the circuit board is possible.
In a further preferred embodiment, the surge arresters are designed as fail-safe.
In a further preferred embodiment, the contact pads of the printed circuit board are made of silver, since silver has sufficient mechanical strength.
In a further preferred embodiment, the housing is formed on the underside in the region of the fork contacts with cutouts, so that the overvoltage protection magazine can be easily levered out in the mounted state on a distribution strip by means of a tool.
Die Fig. zeigen:The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to a preferred embodiment. The figures show:

An den seitlichen Bereichen an den Schrägen 17 liegt dabei der Isolier- Streifen 5 in einer Ebene mit dem Rand des Gehäuses.3 shows a sectional view through the overvoltage protection magazine and FIG. 4 shows a perspective illustration of a protective magazine plugged onto a distributor strip. In Fig. 1, the overvoltage protection magazine 1 is shown in an exploded view prior to assembly. The overvoltage protection magazine 1 comprises a one-piece housing 2, a printed circuit board 3 with surge arresters 4, an insulating strip 5 and two earth contacts 6. The surge arresters 4 are formed as SMD components and arranged in a row on the printed circuit board 3. The center contacts 7 of all surge arresters 6 are connected via a common, not shown trace with two contact pads 8. The contact pads 8 are arranged both on the front and the back of the circuit board 3. In the lower region, the printed circuit board 3 is structured by free cuts, so that 4 insertion regions 9 form according to the number of surge arresters. For each insertion region 9, the two outer electrodes of the surge arrester 4 assigned to it are guided through conductor tracks, a contact pad 11 being arranged at the edge region of the printed circuit board 3 for each electrode. The contact pads 11 are also arranged on the front and back of the circuit board 3. The one-piece housing 2 is formed substantially cuboid. At the lateral areas, the housing 2 is formed with extensions 12. Furthermore, the housing 2 is formed with semi-cylindrical indentations 13. In the region of the upper edge 14 slots 15 are incorporated in the housing 2, so that the inwardly projecting half-cylinder is separated. The upper edge 14 is offset to the two end faces 16 through a slope 17, that is flatter. Furthermore, the housing 2 at the end faces 16 slots 18. The earth contact 6 has a double fork contact 19 in the upper region and a single fork contact 20 in the lower region. The housing 2 is also formed in the lower region with openings for the Einsteckbereiche 9. To stabilize serve closed webs 21, each of which lies between two Einsteckbereichen 9 and webs 22 which are slotted and rest between the two contact pads 11. For assembly, the two ground contacts 6 are first inserted from above into the housing 2, wherein the ground contacts are passed through the extensions 12 in the inserted state. In the fully mated condition, the single fork contact 20 projects out of the extension 12, which is shown in the left-hand part of FIG. Subsequently, the circuit board 3 is inserted, wherein the Insertion regions 9 pass through the lower openings in the housing 2. At the same time the double fork contacts 19 contact the contact pads 8. In the last step, the insulating strip 5 is then pressed into the housing 2, so that the edges of the insulating strip 5 pass into the slots 15. As a result, the insulating strip 5 rests on the lower part of the half cylinder and is held by the upper part of the half cylinder. At the lateral areas on the slopes 17 of the insulating strip 5 is in a plane with the edge of the housing.
In der Fig. 2 und 3 ist das Uberspannungsschutzmagazin 1 im zusammengesteckten Zustand dargestellt, wobei der Isolier-Streifen 5 in Fig. 2 unterbrochen dargestellt ist, wobei die gleichen Bezugszeichen wie Fig. 1 verwendet wurden.2 and 3, the overvoltage protection magazine 1 is shown in the assembled state, wherein the insulating strip 5 is shown interrupted in Fig. 2, wherein the same reference numerals as in Fig. 1 were used.
BezugszeichenlisteSafety edge 23 are latched onto the profile bars, not shown, in which case the ground tap contacted the profile bar. This creates a conductive ground connection from the center taps of the surge arrester to the profile bars. LIST OF REFERENCE NUMBERS
