Claims (22)

  1.   2. Karde nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, da der Zylinder ein Kardierzylinder (2 oder 5) ist.
  3. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zylinder ein Transferzylinder (4) ist.
  4. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zylinder ein Zylinder zur Bildung eines Vlieses (6) ist, vom Typ Abnehmerzylinder oder Stauchzylinder.
  5. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abdichtung zwischen dem seitlichen Flansch (F) und der Verkleidung (11,16,17 oder 18) mit Hilfe wenigstens einer Dichtung (10) verwirklicht ist.
  6. Karde nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dichtung (10) in einer Umfangsrille des Flansches (F) montiert ist.
  7. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten Mittel für die Zufuhr der Luft an die Kammer (E) durch den seitlichen Flansch (F) angeschlossen sind.
  8. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten Mittel zur Zuführung von Luft einen Ventilator (V1 oder V2) umfassen.

Karde nach Anspruch 10 oder 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder seitliche Flansch (F') von einer Reinigungswalze (3a) oder einer Arbeitswalze (3b) eine umfängliche Randleiste (19b) aufweist, welche die Walze (3a oder 3b) derart überdeckt, dass sie die aus der seitlichen Kammer (E') austretende Luft in eine Richtung im wesentlichen (sensiblement) parallel zur Längsachse der Walze umlenkt.
  13. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie eine obere Abdeckung (22) aufweist, welche die Gesamtheit der Zylinder der Karde abdeckt und die im Basisbereich offen ist und die eine Öffnung (22a) zur Evakuierung von Luft aufweist, welche mit Absaugmitteln verbunden ist.

  15. Karde nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abdichtungseinrichtung (23) ein Gleitelement (24) in gleitendem Kontakt mit der Seitenfläche (6a) des ersten Zylinders (6) aufweist.
  16. Karde nach den Ansprüchen 5 und 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindungsdichtung (10) des Flansches die Abdichtung zwischen dem Flansch (F) und dem Gleitelement (24) sicherstellt.
  17. Karde nach einem der Ansprüche 14 und 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste Zylinder (6) ein Zylinder zur Bildung eines Vlieses (6) ist, vom Typ Abnehmerzylinder oder Stauchzylinder.

Verfahren zum Verringern der Ansammlung von Fasern in den seitlichen Bereichen oder Teilen eines rotierenden Zylinders einer Karde, welche Karde unter anderem zwei seitliche Flansche umfasst, die beiderseits fest am Zylinder montiert sind, sowie eine fest angeordnete Verkleidung (11,16,17 oder 18), die nahe montiert ist und die den Zylinder auf wenigstens einem Sektor seines Umfanges abdeckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Abdichtung zwischen der Verkleidung (11,16,17 oder 18) und jedem seitlichen Flansch (F) realisiert ist, und dass Luft in die Kammer (E) eingeführt wird, welche zwischen dem Flansch, der Verkleidung und dem Zylinder gebildet wird, und die Kammer unter Überdruck gehalten wird.
  19. Verfahren nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Karde ein Traggestell (9) aufweist, das starre Rohrelemente (9d,9e) umfasst, wobei wenigstens einen Bereich dieser Rohrelemente (9e und/oder 9d) des Gestells (9) zum Zuführen von Luft zu jeder seitlichen Kammer (E) verwendet wird.
  20. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 18 oder 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zufuhr der Luft zu jeder seitlichen Kammer (E) in der Weise realisiert wird, dass die Geschwindigkeit der aus den Kammern (E) abgeleiteten Luftströmung unter 5m/s und vorzugsweise unter 3m/s liegt.
  21. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 18 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nahe der Zylinder der Karde eine Luftzirkulation erzeugt wird, mit der die abgelösten Fasern evakuiert werden.
  22. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 19 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es angewendet wird auf den einen und/oder den anderen der folgenden Zylinder einer Karde angewendet wird: Kardier-Zylinder (2 oder 5), Transferzylinder (4), Zylinder (6) (vom Typ Abnehmerzylinder oder Stauchzylinder) zur Bildung eines Vlieses (6).
