The suction line is with a base end with the Suction outlet connected to an oil pump and with the end in an oil pan arranged. The suction aid has a cylindrical configuration and has a suction outlet in a horizontal transverse direction. A vertical, upward directed base end portion is horizontally rotatable with the other end of the Suction line connected via a seal bearing, which is airtight. A weight, which causes a rotational force by an acceleration of a vehicle is arranged near the suction outlet.
Usually conventional internal combustion engines of motor vehicles are already provided during production with a sufficient amount of fuel. During the operation of motor vehicles consumes the internal combustion engine For example, oil, with a user, the amount of oil at indefinite intervals should check with an oil dipstick. Of course this is also one electronic device possible in which a warning light in a dashboard of the motor vehicle indicates a low oil level.
When cornering, when driving downhill or downhill or even when accelerating and braking the motor vehicle, the level of the fuel changes in the fuel storage, so that the risk of sucking air is very large because a rigid suction line with its suction due to the movements of the Fuel can reach outside of these. This danger of sucking air is the larger, if not enough fuel in the fuel storage is available. A fuel storage, for example, an oil pan, in the Engine oil is stored. It is also possible that the fuel storage as Fuel tank, in particular as a diesel tank, designed.
The invention is based on the object, an improved fuel storage to provide, in which by simple means a suction of air at a deflection and at a level change of the fuel is avoided.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that the suction line so is designed to be flexible in a neutral position of the suction end, in the substantially U-shaped, extending from the pump to the sucker, the Sucking a Saugschwimmer is assigned.
Due to the flexibility of the suction line, this can be arranged with it Saugschwimmer any level change of the fuel in the Fuel storage follow. Such a change in level can be especially at Cornering, uphill or downhill, during acceleration or Braking of the motor vehicle occur. But even with a consumption of Fuel can be the suction line with the arranged thereon Saugschwimmer the changing fuel level in the Adjust fuel accumulator so that air intake is avoided.
In order to achieve that the Saugschwimmer to different According to the fuel level, it is favorable for the purposes of the invention, when the suction line is configured such that the Saugschwimmer due to Fuel level changes accordingly from a neutral position to corresponding deflection positions can be deflected.
Appropriately in the context of the invention, the suction line is therefore made of a hose educated. The tube has in this case a sufficient elbow room, so that the suction line in the neutral position is substantially U-shaped from the Pump to suction or Saugschwimmer runs. This is the Saugschwimmer able to accelerations or stalls or any motor vehicle movements and consumption To follow changes in the fuel level in the fuel storage.
Here, the invention is based on the finding that the fuel in the Fuel storage due to its inertia the respective movements of the Motor vehicle follows. For acceleration or braking or hill climbing and cornering is the fuel here in each case to a side wall of the Loss of fuel storage, so that a different level of fuel at the respective movements of the motor vehicle is generated.
By means of the Saugschwimmers it is achieved that the sucking always sufficiently far is arranged below the fuel surface. Favorable for the purposes of the invention therefore, that the Saugschwimmer einendig a float and the other end Having a weight with a suction opening, wherein a connecting element between the float and the suction opening is arranged. Advantageously provided here that the weight corresponding to the buoyancy of Float is designed such that the sucker always far enough is kept below the surface of the fuel.
To connect the suction line to the Saugschwimmer it is cheap in terms of Invention, when the connecting element has a connecting piece for connection with the Suction line has.
In an advantageous embodiment of the Saugschwimmers has this one Float, through which a connecting element is guided, at the Suction opening is a weight, wherein the suction line with a to Suction port opposite plug is connected. In this advantageous Embodiment, the float is seen in cross-section designed such that a large fuel surface is covered. The float is this quasi designed as a plate, preferably as Ölschwallblech and can the Take over function of the oil baffle, on the one in cross section Seen such a wide floating body can be dispensed with, the Oil baffle of course floating on the oil.
The embodiments of the Saugschwimmers is based on the knowledge that in the fuel, especially in engine oil, existing water separates and in Regions with extreme cold can freeze to ice. In such a case, the Internal combustion engine started without oil lubrication, as a usual rigid Suction line is frozen with its suction in the ice, so that engine oil is not can be sucked more. As a result, however, extremely high wear values, especially on cam bearings. Characterized in that the suction opening by means of Saugschwimmers but always far enough below the fuel surface, is kept below the oil surface and additionally sufficient far from a possible ice layer in the fuel storage, is held in particular in the oil sump, such a freeze of the Suction opening in the ice layer advantageously prevented, so that always enough Fuel can be sucked.
By means of the flexible suction line is the Saugschwimmer in the fuel storage versatile. Here, the Saugschwimmer in its respective embodiment any deflection of the fuel due to motor vehicle movement consequences. But also a movement of the Saugschwimmers in a high direction of the Seen motor vehicle is advantageously possible, so that the Saugschwimmer spatially considered to have three degrees of freedom.
Therefore, the invention is particularly suitable for use in an oil pan. However, it is also conceivable that the invention in fuel tanks, in particular in Diesel tanks, can be used. Advantageously, in particular, a Oil level control by a user waived between two service intervals become. The fact that an intake of air is avoided and always the required amount of oil is sucked in, for example, decreases Bearing wear, since the bearings are always sufficiently lubricated. By means of simple mechanical design is also the customer satisfaction increased.

durch die flexible Saugleitung 8 möglich ist.The
aufweist.
In an advantageous embodiment shown in Figure 4, the
8 in üblicher Weise angeordnet.
Schwimmkörpers 22.At a
Due to the wide design of the
The
By means of the inventively designed
Advantageously, the
