Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Auftragsmediums (2) auf einen laufenden Untergrund (3), wobei der Untergrund (3) bei direktem Auftrag die Oberfläche einer Papier-, Karton- oder anderen Faserstoffbahn ist oder bei indirektem Auftrag die Oberfläche eines Übertragungselements, beispielsweise einer Übertragungswalze, ist, welches das Auftragsmedium (2) an die Faserstoffbahn überträgt, wobei das Auftragsmedium (2) in einer Auftragskammer (8) auf den laufenden Untergrund (3) auftragbar ist und die Auftragskammer (8) in Laufrichtung (L) des Untergrunds (3) betrachtet einlaufseitig von einer Dichtrakelvorrichtung (9) und auslaufseitig von einer Dosierrakelvorrichtung (10), die jeweils mit einem Rakelstab (11, 12) versehen sind, begrenzt ist. Bei denen aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten gattungsgemäßen Vorrichtungen sammeln sich in der Auftragskammer (8) Verunreinigungen an, die bei der Auftragsschicht (4) zu Qualitätseinbußen führen. Deshalb weist der Rakelstab (12) der Dosierrakelvorrichtung (10) erfindungsgemäß eine höhere Durchlassfähigkeit auf, als der Rakelstab (11) der Dichtrakelvorrichtung (9).
