Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum direkten Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums (M) auf eine laufende Materialbahn (2), insbesondere eine Faserstoffbahn aus Papier oder Karton. Diese Vorrichtung umfasst eine von der Materialbahn (2) teilweise umschlungene drehbare Stützfläche (3), wie beispielsweise ein Stützband oder eine Stützwalze, welche eine der Stützfläche (3) zugewandte Seite (2a) der Materialbahn (2) stützt, wobei die Stützfläche (3) und die Materialbahn (2) einen sich keilförmig verjüngenden Einlaufzwickel (4) und einen Auslaufzwickel (5) bilden. Die Vorrichtung umfasst außerdem wenigstens ein der Stützfläche (3) zugeordnetes Auftragswerk (6) und eine, bezogen auf die Drehrichtung der Stützfläche (3) vor dem Auftragswerk (6) angeordnete Einrichtung (7) zur Entfernung, zumindest aber Schwächung einer von der Stützfläche (3) und/oder der Materialbahn (2) mitgeführten Luftgrenzschicht (10), wobei die Einrichtung (7) zwischen der Stützfläche (3) und der der Stützfläche (3) zugewandten Seite (2a) der Materialbahn (2) im Einlaufzwickel (4) angeordnet ist.
Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Einrichtung (7) als eine den Einlaufzwickel (4) in annähernd radialer Richtung zur Stützfläche (3) überspannende Baugruppe aufgebaut ist, bestehend aus einer die Materialbahnseite (2a) berührenden Leiste (8) und einem Klingenelement (11). Die Leiste (8) und das Klingenelement (11) erstrecken sich quer zur Bahnlaufrichtung (L) und sind mindestens der Breite des Auftragswerkes (6) angepasst. Das Klingenelement (11) ragt mit seiner stromabwärtigen Seite (11a) derart in den Einlaufzwickel (4) hinein, dass zwischen seinem stromabwärtigen Ende (11a) und der Stützfläche (3) ein minimaler Spalt (12) verbleibt.
