Die Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, die für beide alternative Anwendungsfälle erforderlichen Funktionselemente des Schlosses derart auszubilden und in einem Schlossgehäuse anzuordnen, dass für beide alternative Ausführungen möglichst viele Gleichteile eingesetzt werden können. Hierdurch wird erreicht, dass für beide Ausführungsformen ein genau gleiches Schloss-Gehäuse verwendet werden kann. Für die unterschiedlichen Funktionselemente für die beiden alternativen Ausführungsformen sind in dem gleichen Gehäuse Räume vorgesehen, in denen die unterschiedlichen Funktionselemente austauschbar eingesetzt werden können. Soweit für eine der beiden Ausführungsformen außer austauschbaren Elementen Zusatzelemente eingesetzt werden müssen, sind für diese entsprechende Freiräume in dem Gehäuse vorgesehen. Darüber hinaus sind an gemeinsam genutzten Funktionselementen Anbindungselemente für andere Funktionselemente stets in gleicher Weise vorgesehen, auch wenn diese anderen anzubindenden Elemente nur bei einer der beiden Ausführungsformen vorliegen. Soweit möglich werden gleiche in dem Gehäuse vorgesehene Lagerachsen für je nach alternativer Ausführungsform unterschiedlich einsetzbare Kraftübertragungsmittel vorgesehen.
