Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de broyer des contenants (2) de faible épaisseur, constitués en particulier de plastique ou d'aluminium. Ce dispositif comprend un réacteur de pulvérisation (3) dans lequel est disposé un mécanisme de pulvérisation (24) comportant plusieurs étages de broyage (A, B, C). Chaque étage de pulvérisation (A, B, C) comporte au moins une lame tranchante (6, 10, 15) qui est entraînée par un arbre rotor (20) disposé de manière sensiblement verticale et qui coopère avec au moins une contre-lame stationnaire (8, 12, 17). Les contenants (2) sont introduits par une ouverture d'admission (18) située côté face du réacteur de pulvérisation (3), en direction de l'arbre rotor (20). Au moins une première lame tranchante (6) est disposée sur la face supérieure (4a) d'un porte-lame tranchante (4) solidement relié à l'arbre rotor (20), cette face supérieure étant orientée vers l'ouverture d'admission (18). Ladite première lame tranchante (6) coopère avec au moins une première contre-lame stationnaire (8). De préférence, les arêtes tranchantes (6a, 8a) de la première lame tranchante (6) et de la première contre-lame (8) sont disposées sur l'arbre rotor (20) dans un plan perpendiculaire (7). Il est possible d'atteindre un rendement et des performances de broyage élevés lorsque le porte-lame tranchante (4) se présente sous la forme d'une roue de soufflante (40), au moins une lame tranchante (6) étant disposée dans la zone d'une arête avant (42) (par rapport au sens de rotation) d'une ailette (41) de la roue de soufflante (40).
