Definitions
- the invention relates to a panel radiator with at least a heating plate, which has a lower horizontal channel and a plurality of vertical channels, which with a Liquid filled by at least one Electric heating element is heated, which along the lower horizontal channel is arranged, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a radiator consists essentially from a liquid-filled hot plate, which the Heat radiates.
- an electrical Heating element provided which heats the liquid. The heated liquid flows through the heating plate, so that they emit as much heat as possible can.
- the hotplate must be so special for such Electric panel radiators are produced.
- the use existing production lines for panel radiators, which for the production of radiators for central heating can be used with flat horizontal channels thus not or only after extensive conversions used become.
- the invention has for its object to provide a panel radiator with an electric heater, which nevertheless has a good heating performance in a simple and inexpensive construction.
- the object is achieved by a panel radiator solved with the features of claim 1.
- preferred Embodiments of the invention are in the dependent Claims specified.
- the plate heater according to the invention is characterized that along the lower horizontal channel for the electric heating element is a receiving housing attached, which has a multiplicity of through openings or a slot with the horizontal channel in fluid communication stands.
- a receiving housing attached, which has a multiplicity of through openings or a slot with the horizontal channel in fluid communication stands.
- For the panel heater according to the invention can conventional heating plates are used, which also at Central heating systems are used. So it can existing production lines without or at least without larger conversions are used for production. This is particular in view of the relatively expensive punching and Embossing tools extremely economical. Only in Area of the lower heating channel will be a variety of Through holes or an elongated slot introduced usually existing on the press tools Punching tools can be used.
- the lower horizontal channel with the passage openings formed therein becomes a receiving housing for the electric heating element appropriate. Due to the large number of through holes There is a very good fluid connection to Horizontal channel, allowing an intense fluid exchange between horizontal channel and the receiving housing and thus a very good distribution of the
- the heating plate clamshell of two sheet metal plates is executed, of which in at least one Profile is imprinted.
- a profile By impressing a profile can be placed in a flat metal plate, which is covered by a coil the production line is unwound, the vertical and horizontal channels be embossed.
- the receiving housing a U-profile or has a pipe profile which along the horizontal channel attached to the heating plate. That's it particularly preferred that the U-profile or the tube profile welded onto the heating plate.
- U-profiles or tube profiles can be procured inexpensively as bar stock become. These are only to the desired length of Tailored and then have to their End faces closed by closures or closure plates become. By welding on the heating plate becomes a reliable and pressure-tight connection created. Of course, other connection methods, such as brazing or gluing etc. used come.
- the tube profile as a round tube or polygonal tube is trained.
- a polygonal tube can in particular Rectangular or square tubes with square cross section be used.
- An efficient arrangement of the electric heating element is according to the invention achieved in that the electric heating element a heating element is, which at an end face of the receiving housing is inserted and fixed in this. additionally can in the receiving housing centering, in particular Centering be provided, which is a reliable Arrangement and attachment of the heating element within the Ensure receptacle housing.
- the through holes on a conventional production line introduced with the punch which are usually in vertical channels for Radiators for central heating systems the openings for Valve devices or connection devices to the Insert heating pipes. It is preferred according to the invention, that the through holes at an equal distance introduced into each other in a wall of the horizontal channel are. This can be a uniform Adjust the flow of the liquid in the heating plate.
- the through holes in the Are arranged in areas in which vertical channels in the lower horizontal channel open.
- the Through openings approximately every other vertical channel provided so that also vertical channels for a return flow are provided by an upper horizontal channel.
- the panel heater according to the invention can only one Hotplate or even three or four or more hotplates exhibit.
- two side by side hotplates are provided, whose respective lower horizontal channel with a common intermediate housing is connected for the electric heating element. It can be like this by a single electric heating element with a single Housing two heating plates with heated liquid be supplied. In the receiving housing are accordingly on both sides openings for an overflow into the adjacent formed lower horizontal channels.
- a control element is provided, which in the area of a back of the Heating plate is arranged and opposite the lateral dimensions the heating plate substantially does not survive.
- the control element with the operating units for arranged the radiator between the two heating plates.
- the radiator is thus compact overall and the control element with the sensitive electronics is protected arranged between the heating plates of steel.
- a single heating plate 12 with a plurality of vertical channels 18 is provided, which an upper horizontal channel 17 with an unrecognizable in this view connect the lower horizontal channel.
- the vertical channels 18, the horizontal channels 17 and the receiving housing 30 are filled with a liquid, preferably a mixture of water and oil.
- a mounting plate 34 arranged, with which the radiator 10 at a wall can be attached or which also for attachment can serve another hot plate.
- a right Side region of the plate heater 10 is replaced by a Side cover 32 closed behind which concealed a control element 40 is arranged, which is for control the electric heating element is used.
- the control element 40 has for this purpose an operating unit 42 with knobs which protrude through the side cover 32.
- a rod-shaped electric heating element 20 arranged to heat the liquid.
- the receiving housing 30 an elongated U-profile, which along the lower horizontal channel 16 is welded to the heating plate 12.
- the passage openings 22 are each equally spaced below the junctions of the vertical channels 18 in the lower Horizontal channel 16 introduced. It may feel like this very good fluid exchange and a very good circulation the heated water from the housing 3 in the lower horizontal channel 16 and thus in the vertical channels 18 result.
- the heated liquid can be so distribute it particularly quickly and evenly in the heating plate 12, so that a very good heat radiation is achieved becomes.
- FIG. 6 and 7 is another embodiment a panel heater 10 'according to the invention with two Heating plates 12, 14 shown.
- a receiving housing 30th provided with an electric heating element 20 disposed therein, which via a cap 38 with electrical Energy is supplied.
- the radiator has a first heating plate 12 and a second heating plate 14, wherein in a receiving housing 30th along a lower horizontal channel 16 thermal oil or Water / glycol mixture through the heating element, not shown is heated. From the receiving housing 30 flows the heated Heating fluid via openings, not shown in the lower Horizontal channel 16 and from there further embossed Vertical channels 18 to an upper horizontal channel 16a of the first heating plate 12. From there, the heating fluid flows over two connecting pipes 43, 43a, which also as tees may be formed in an upper horizontal channel 16b of the second heating plate 14. The heating fluid flows uniformly to the right and left and from the upper horizontal channel via the embossed vertical channels 18 to a lower Horizontal channel 16c of the second heating plate 14. Von There, the cooled heating water flows through connecting pipes 44, 44a back into the profiled receiving housing 30 with the heating element.
- the Surface temperature can be lowered on the heating plates, as in some rooms, such as children's rooms or kindergarten premises etc. is necessary, however the heating power of the radiator can remain high.
