    a) the gear mechanism (8) is a planetary gear mechanism which is provided with a sun wheel (12), planetary wheels (13) and a hollow wheel (15);
    b) the drive shaft (16) of the gear mechanism (8) is the support axle of the sun wheel (12);
    c) the support axles (18) of the planetary wheels (13) are mounted in at least one support part (19) which is arranged to the side of the drive lever (6) and can be fixedly connected to the vehicle body or to an intermediate part connected to the latter,
    characterised in that
    d) the hollow wheel (15) of the planetary gear mechanism (8) is formed by the suitably designed first end region (7) of the drive lever (6).
  2. Hinge bracket and gear mechanism according to Claim 1, characterised in that the gear mechanism (8) is a toothed wheel gear mechanism.
  3. Hinge bracket and gear mechanism according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the hinge bracket (1), on its side facing towards the hinge axis (4), is pivotably connected to a bearing pedestal (5) which can be fixed to the body of the vehicle.
  4. Hinge bracket and gear mechanism according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the support part (19), in which the support axles (18) of the planetary wheels (13) of the planetary gear mechanism (8) are mounted, is fixed to the bearing pedestal (5).
  5. Hinge bracket and gear mechanism according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the support part (19) is the side wall of a housing (20) which accommodates the motor (17).
