Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a suction nozzle unit and a reclining receptacle for storing the suction nozzle unit on a housing of the vacuum cleaner, in which at least a portion of the suction nozzle unit is used, wherein that the suction nozzle unit has a recessed receiving substantially flat final wall portion, at least is substantially adapted to the shape of the housing.
- a generic vacuum cleaner is for example from the EP 0 679 361 A2 known.
- a vacuum cleaner which has an accessory unit.
- a receptacle is provided on a vacuum cleaner housing, which receives the modü.
- the object of the invention is to provide a vacuum cleaner with an improved way of storing a suction nozzle unit on the vacuum cleaner.
- suction nozzle unit for attachment to the housing of the vacuum cleaner has a locking means which engages in a counter-locking means on the housing.
- the inventive design of the vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle unit an improved storage for the suction nozzle unit is achieved.
- the advantage is that the suction nozzle unit is better integrated into the shape of the vacuum cleaner. Since the suction nozzle unit in the vacuum cleaner substantially completely integrated, the risk is reduced that the vacuum cleaner during operation due to significantly projecting parts of the suction nozzle unit, for example. Hanging on pieces of furniture. This also significantly reduces the risk that the suction nozzle unit is damaged during operation of the vacuum cleaner.
- the vacuum cleaner according to the invention also appears visually appealing, since no substantially protruding parts are present, which would disturb the shape of the vacuum cleaner form visually.
- the wall section of the suction nozzle unit includes a receptacle provided on the lower housing part.
- the receptacle provided on the lower housing part can spring back niche-like behind the outer surface of the housing lower part.
- the recessed receptacle can be formed directly on the housing base. Due to the lower housing-side arrangement of the intake, the suction nozzle unit remains largely optically hidden in the inserted position for the user of the vacuum cleaner, without the suction nozzle unit having to be covered by a separate cover. Due to the flat final wall portion of the suction nozzle unit but this can also be used in a provided on the housing top recording.
- Essential to the invention is a wall portion of the suction nozzle unit, which is adapted in shape to the shape of the vacuum cleaner housing.
- the adaptation is achieved essentially by continuing the surface contour of the vacuum cleaner over the wall section of the suction nozzle unit.
- it is harmless if, for the purpose of further functions, parts of the suction nozzle unit protrude slightly beyond the adapted wall section to the outside.
- the wall portion may be formed by a side wall of the suction nozzle housing.
- a side wall of the suction nozzle housing is preferably adapted in its shape to the shape of the housing.
- the suction nozzle unit is formed as a one-piece plastic injection molded part, d. H. the wall section or the side wall is formed directly on the suction nozzle unit.
- the wall section is preferably part of a upholstery nozzle, that is to say the suction nozzle unit is designed as a upholstery nozzle.
- the upholstery nozzle has a hood-like housing upper part, whose top surface forms the wall section.
- the suction nozzle unit has a tubular, the wall section penetrating connection piece for a suction pipe or a suction hose of the vacuum cleaner.
- the tubular connection piece preferably designed as a cushion nozzle suction nozzle unit is connected to the suction pipe or to the suction hose of the vacuum cleaner.
- the tubular connection piece can terminate flush with the wall section of the suction nozzle unit.
- the tubular spigot may project slightly beyond the surface of the wall portion and form a holding portion through which the suction nozzle unit can be gripped by a user by hand and taken out of the receptacle of the vacuum cleaner. This facilitates the removal of the suction nozzle unit from the receptacle on the vacuum cleaner.
- the tubular connecting piece can have at least one holding portion, through which the suction nozzle unit can be removed from the recessed receptacle.
- the at least one holding portion By the at least one holding portion an undercut is formed, which can be engaged behind by a hand of the user, whereby a slipping of the hand is prevented by the suction nozzle unit.
- two circular portion-shaped holding portions are provided opposite to an outer wall of the tubular connecting piece.
- the suction nozzle unit is gripped on the tubular projecting connecting piece by means of thumb and forefinger on opposite sides behind the circular segment-shaped holding sections. During the extraction of the suction nozzle unit from the recording thumb and forefinger come to rest on the backs of the circular portion-shaped holding portions, whereby a slipping of the fingers of the tubular connection piece is reliably prevented.
- the suction nozzle unit may comprise the latching means according to the invention, which engages in a counter-latching element on the housing.
- the locking means By the locking means, the suction nozzle unit is reliably held in the receptacle of the vacuum cleaner.
- the recording can be formed open in directions other than exclusively upwards.
- the suction nozzle unit is held with the inventive design without gravity support in the recording.
- the latching means it is possible that the opening of the receptacle, for example, may be provided on a side wall of the vacuum cleaner or even on the underside of the vacuum cleaner. Slipping out of the suction nozzle unit from the recording due to gravity is thus reliably prevented.
- the locking means according to the invention the position of the opening of the recording can be chosen largely freely.
- the latching means is preferably formed by at least two U-shaped tabs on the suction nozzle unit, which engage in the latched position at least one provided on the housing of the vacuum cleaner rib.
- the U-shaped tab or the tabs may preferably have a smaller gap width than the thickness of the rib in their relaxed state.
- spacers are provided on a side wall of the upholstery nozzle facing the U-shaped tabs.
- Said spacers may be formed as lumps projecting lugs and preferably formed on the side wall.
- an additional latching means can be provided on an inner wall of the tubular connection piece, by means of which, for example, a crevice nozzle can be latched with the suction nozzle unit, which is preferably designed as a cushioning nozzle.
- a crevice nozzle can be latched with the suction nozzle unit, which is preferably designed as a cushioning nozzle.
- the crevice nozzle may have a projecting annular portion which is overlapped by the latching means in a latched position with the upholstery nozzle.
- the positionally correct locking of the crevice nozzle to the upholstery nozzle can, for example, be predetermined by means of a tongue and groove connection.
- the groove may be formed as a recess in the projecting annular portion of the crevice nozzle.
- the spring is formed as an axially extending web on the inner wall of the tubular connecting piece of the upholstery nozzle. Due to the substantially rotationally symmetrical shape of the crevice nozzle, this could be inserted by a user, for example, in different rotational positions in the tubular connection piece of the upholstery nozzle.
- the crevice nozzle is positioned on the tubular connection piece, that the recess of the projecting annular portion of the crevice is aligned with the axially extending web on the inner wall of the tubular connecting piece. Only in this mutual position of crevice nozzle and upholstery nozzle, the crevice nozzle can be inserted axially into the tubular connection piece until the projecting annular portion of the crevice nozzle are overlapped by the locking means of the upholstery nozzle and thereby locks the crevice nozzle in the upholstery nozzle.
- the crevice nozzle may have at least one, preferably two latching noses which are supported on a wall of the recessed receptacle.
- At least one protruding spacer may be provided on a side wall of the suction nozzle unit facing the latching means, which in cooperation with the latching means and the at least one latching lug of the crevice nozzle holds the suction nozzle unit in a prestressed position on the housing of the vacuum cleaner.
- the protruding spacers cause the suction nozzle unit of the upholstery nozzle and crevice nozzle to be tilted relative to the vacuum cleaner housing such that the at least one latching nose provided at the crevice nozzle is behind one latched to the latch nose corresponding recess.
- the suction nozzle unit is held in a biased position on the housing of the vacuum cleaner.
- the recessed receptacle may be formed as a recessed grip.
- the suction nozzle unit With the suction nozzle unit removed, the user can carry the vacuum cleaner by inserting his hand into the recessed receptacle and inserting it into the recessed grip provided in the receptacle and lifting the vacuum cleaner.
- a further handle is provided on the vacuum cleaner, so that even when inserted into the receptacle suction nozzle unit of the vacuum cleaner can be worn by a user.
