The object of the invention is to provide a vacuum cleaner with an improved way of storing a suction nozzle unit on the vacuum cleaner.

This object is achieved in a generic vacuum cleaner characterized in that the suction nozzle unit for attachment to the housing of the vacuum cleaner has a locking means which engages in a counter-locking means on the housing.

The inventive design of the vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle unit an improved storage for the suction nozzle unit is achieved. In particular, the advantage is that the suction nozzle unit is better integrated into the shape of the vacuum cleaner. Since the suction nozzle unit in the vacuum cleaner substantially completely integrated, the risk is reduced that the vacuum cleaner during operation due to significantly projecting parts of the suction nozzle unit, for example. Hanging on pieces of furniture. This also significantly reduces the risk that the suction nozzle unit is damaged during operation of the vacuum cleaner. For the user, the vacuum cleaner according to the invention also appears visually appealing, since no substantially protruding parts are present, which would disturb the shape of the vacuum cleaner form visually.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wall section of the suction nozzle unit includes a receptacle provided on the lower housing part. In this case, the receptacle provided on the lower housing part can spring back niche-like behind the outer surface of the housing lower part. In particular, the recessed receptacle can be formed directly on the housing base. Due to the lower housing-side arrangement of the intake, the suction nozzle unit remains largely optically hidden in the inserted position for the user of the vacuum cleaner, without the suction nozzle unit having to be covered by a separate cover. Due to the flat final wall portion of the suction nozzle unit but this can also be used in a provided on the housing top recording. Essential to the invention is a wall portion of the suction nozzle unit, which is adapted in shape to the shape of the vacuum cleaner housing. The adaptation is achieved essentially by continuing the surface contour of the vacuum cleaner over the wall section of the suction nozzle unit. For the core essential to the invention, it is harmless if, for the purpose of further functions, parts of the suction nozzle unit protrude slightly beyond the adapted wall section to the outside.

The wall portion may be formed by a side wall of the suction nozzle housing. By this embodiment of the invention, it is unnecessary to provide a separate wall section on the suction nozzle unit, which terminates the recessed receptacle substantially flat. Instead of a separate wall section, a side wall of the suction nozzle housing is preferably adapted in its shape to the shape of the housing. Preferably, the suction nozzle unit is formed as a one-piece plastic injection molded part, d. H. the wall section or the side wall is formed directly on the suction nozzle unit.

The wall section is preferably part of a upholstery nozzle, that is to say the suction nozzle unit is designed as a upholstery nozzle. The upholstery nozzle has a hood-like housing upper part, whose top surface forms the wall section.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the suction nozzle unit has a tubular, the wall section penetrating connection piece for a suction pipe or a suction hose of the vacuum cleaner. About the tubular connection piece, preferably designed as a cushion nozzle suction nozzle unit is connected to the suction pipe or to the suction hose of the vacuum cleaner. The tubular connection piece can terminate flush with the wall section of the suction nozzle unit. However, the tubular spigot may project slightly beyond the surface of the wall portion and form a holding portion through which the suction nozzle unit can be gripped by a user by hand and taken out of the receptacle of the vacuum cleaner. This facilitates the removal of the suction nozzle unit from the receptacle on the vacuum cleaner.

In order to prevent hand slipping from the slightly projecting, tubular connecting piece when gripping by hand, the tubular connecting piece can have at least one holding portion, through which the suction nozzle unit can be removed from the recessed receptacle. By the at least one holding portion an undercut is formed, which can be engaged behind by a hand of the user, whereby a slipping of the hand is prevented by the suction nozzle unit.

Preferably, two circular portion-shaped holding portions are provided opposite to an outer wall of the tubular connecting piece. Preferably, the suction nozzle unit is gripped on the tubular projecting connecting piece by means of thumb and forefinger on opposite sides behind the circular segment-shaped holding sections. During the extraction of the suction nozzle unit from the recording thumb and forefinger come to rest on the backs of the circular portion-shaped holding portions, whereby a slipping of the fingers of the tubular connection piece is reliably prevented.

For attachment of the suction nozzle unit on the housing of the vacuum cleaner, the suction nozzle unit may comprise the latching means according to the invention, which engages in a counter-latching element on the housing. By the locking means, the suction nozzle unit is reliably held in the receptacle of the vacuum cleaner. The recording can be formed open in directions other than exclusively upwards. The suction nozzle unit is held with the inventive design without gravity support in the recording. By the latching means, it is possible that the opening of the receptacle, for example, may be provided on a side wall of the vacuum cleaner or even on the underside of the vacuum cleaner. Slipping out of the suction nozzle unit from the recording due to gravity is thus reliably prevented. By the locking means according to the invention, the position of the opening of the recording can be chosen largely freely.

The latching means is preferably formed by at least two U-shaped tabs on the suction nozzle unit, which engage in the latched position at least one provided on the housing of the vacuum cleaner rib. The U-shaped tab or the tabs may preferably have a smaller gap width than the thickness of the rib in their relaxed state. When placing the U-shaped tabs on the provided on the vacuum cleaner rib, the U-shaped tabs are elastically expanded and clamp due to the elastic biasing forces on the provided on the vacuum cleaner rib. By this design, a reliable locking of the suction nozzle unit is created on the vacuum cleaner, which is easily solved by a user when needed again.

Expediently, spacers are provided on a side wall of the upholstery nozzle facing the U-shaped tabs.

Said spacers may be formed as lumps projecting lugs and preferably formed on the side wall.

If, for example, the suction nozzle unit is formed in two parts, then an additional latching means can be provided on an inner wall of the tubular connection piece, by means of which, for example, a crevice nozzle can be latched with the suction nozzle unit, which is preferably designed as a cushioning nozzle. This has the advantage that the user has two types of nozzles available in the receptacle of the vacuum cleaner. As desired, the user can either place the crevice nozzle or the upholstery nozzle on the suction pipe or the suction hose of the vacuum cleaner.

For releasably holding the crevice nozzle to the upholstery nozzle, the crevice nozzle may have a projecting annular portion which is overlapped by the latching means in a latched position with the upholstery nozzle.

The positionally correct locking of the crevice nozzle to the upholstery nozzle can, for example, be predetermined by means of a tongue and groove connection. In this case, the groove may be formed as a recess in the projecting annular portion of the crevice nozzle. As a counterpart, the spring is formed as an axially extending web on the inner wall of the tubular connecting piece of the upholstery nozzle. Due to the substantially rotationally symmetrical shape of the crevice nozzle, this could be inserted by a user, for example, in different rotational positions in the tubular connection piece of the upholstery nozzle. However, in order to ensure a positionally accurate insertion of the crevice nozzle in the upholstery nozzle, the crevice nozzle is positioned on the tubular connection piece, that the recess of the projecting annular portion of the crevice is aligned with the axially extending web on the inner wall of the tubular connecting piece. Only in this mutual position of crevice nozzle and upholstery nozzle, the crevice nozzle can be inserted axially into the tubular connection piece until the projecting annular portion of the crevice nozzle are overlapped by the locking means of the upholstery nozzle and thereby locks the crevice nozzle in the upholstery nozzle.

In addition, the crevice nozzle may have at least one, preferably two latching noses which are supported on a wall of the recessed receptacle. At least one protruding spacer may be provided on a side wall of the suction nozzle unit facing the latching means, which in cooperation with the latching means and the at least one latching lug of the crevice nozzle holds the suction nozzle unit in a prestressed position on the housing of the vacuum cleaner. After the detent means of the suction nozzle unit, which are preferably designed as U-shaped tabs, are attached to the rib of the vacuum cleaner housing, the protruding spacers cause the suction nozzle unit of the upholstery nozzle and crevice nozzle to be tilted relative to the vacuum cleaner housing such that the at least one latching nose provided at the crevice nozzle is behind one latched to the latch nose corresponding recess. Thus, the suction nozzle unit is held in a biased position on the housing of the vacuum cleaner.

Advantageously, the recessed receptacle may be formed as a recessed grip. With the suction nozzle unit removed, the user can carry the vacuum cleaner by inserting his hand into the recessed receptacle and inserting it into the recessed grip provided in the receptacle and lifting the vacuum cleaner.

Preferably, a further handle is provided on the vacuum cleaner, so that even when inserted into the receptacle suction nozzle unit of the vacuum cleaner can be worn by a user.

An in FIG. 1 A housing cap 3 is seated on a housing lower part 4 of the housing 2 and surrounds not shown electrical components of the vacuum cleaner 1, such as a blower unit, a cable drum or electronic Controls. In a central front region 5 of the bottom surface of the lower housing part 4, a roller 6 is rotatably mounted in a pivotally mounted on the lower housing part 4 roller housing 7. For rotatable mounting, the roller 6 has two opposite journals 8, which engage in associated, integrally formed on the roller housing 7 locking elements 9. The roller housing 7 is a receptacle 10 in the middle front portion 5 formed in the housing lower part 4 upstream. The receptacle 10 is designed to spring back, ie it is niche-like set behind the outer surface of the respective associated housing part and may be provided in a modification to the illustrated embodiment at any other suitable location of the housing 2 and another component of the vacuum cleaner 1. The receptacle 10 does not have to be formed, but can also be integrated as a separate component in the housing 2 or the vacuum cleaner 1. The receptacle 10 has in the embodiment an opening with a rectangular contour. Depending on the type and configuration of a suction nozzle unit 12, the contours of the opening 11 and the contour of the suction nozzle unit 12 are adapted to each other and can also have other suitable shapes in addition to the illustrated rectangular shape. In the in FIG. 1 shown used position of the suction nozzle unit 12 in the lower housing part 4 of the housing 2, a wall portion 13 of the suction nozzle unit 12 is flush with the surface of the housing lower part 4 from. Despite a slightly above the surface of the wall portion 13 projecting tubular connecting piece 14, the suction nozzle unit 12 integrates almost completely in the surface of the housing base 4. Such visually appealing and reliable integration of the suction nozzle unit 12 in the vacuum cleaner 1 is in particular in an overhead housing cap 3 of Advantage.

In the embodiment, the suction nozzle unit 12, as in the FIGS. 2 and 3 shown as a cushioning nozzle 23 is formed, in which a side wall of the suction nozzle housing 15 forms the wall portion 13. The slightly above the surface of the wall portion 13 projecting tubular connection piece 14 has two provided on its outer wall 16 holding portions 17. The holding portions 17 are formed opposite to the outer wall 16 and have a circular section shape. The tubular connecting piece 14 geometrically penetrates the wall portion 13 of the suction nozzle unit 12. At the tubular connection piece 14 is a not shown suction pipe or a suction hose of the vacuum cleaner 1 on or plugged.

As in FIG. 3 Shown at one of the recessed receptacle 10 facing the end of the tubular connecting piece 14 three uniformly distributed over the circumference notches 18 are provided. The detents 18 have inwardly projecting locking lugs 19, which are provided at the free end of resiliently integrally formed on the tubular connecting piece 14 spring tongues 20. In the embodiment, the spring tongues 20 formed by two parallel axial recesses 25 in the side wall of the tubular connecting piece 14. By the notches 18 can be inserted into the circular opening of the tubular connecting piece 14 crevice nozzle 21 (FIG. FIG. 4 ) are releasably secured to the suction nozzle housing 15.

As in FIG. 4 shown has the crevice nozzle 21 to a projecting annular portion 22 which in a latched with the upholstery nozzle 23 position (FIG. FIG. 5 ) is overlapped by the detents 18 and 19 of the locking lugs. The projecting annular portion 22 of the crevice nozzle 21 has a groove-like recess 24. The tubular connecting piece 14 of the upholstery nozzle 23 carries on its inner wall a longitudinally extending web 26 in the axial direction (FIG. FIG. 3 ), which comes to rest in the inserted position of the crevice nozzle 21 in the upholstery nozzle 23 in the groove 24. The crevice nozzle 21 carries on a side wall preferably two parallel outwardly projecting locking lugs 27 which are supported in the storage position of the suction nozzle unit 12 in the receptacle 10 on a wall 28 of the receptacle 10 ( FIG. 6 ).

In der verrasteten Position umgreifen die U-förmigen Laschen 31 die Rippe 32.In FIG. 5 is in a front region of the suction nozzle 15, a locking means 29 preferably integrally formed. In the storage position ( FIG. 1 ) engages the locking means 29 in a counter-locking means 30 on the housing 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1 a. The latching means 29 preferably consists of two U-shaped tabs 31 which are integrally formed on the suction nozzle housing 15. The counter-locking means 30 is formed by a attached to the housing 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1 rib 32. In the latched position, the U-shaped tabs 31 engage around the rib 32.

Finally, spacers 34 are provided on a side wall 33 of the upholstery nozzle 23 facing the U-shaped tabs 31. The spacers 34 are formed as lenticular projecting nubs and preferably formed on the side wall 33. In the storage position, the U-shaped tabs 31 sit on the rib 32. The spacers 34 are supported in this position on a side wall of the rib 32 in such a way from that the suction nozzle unit 12 is tilted slightly in the direction of arrow P about the fictitious axis of rotation A in the vicinity of the U-shaped tabs 31. As a result, the locking lugs 27 are pressed in their projecting direction, so that, as in FIG. 6 shown, the latching lugs 27 biased behind the wall 28 latch. The wall 28 is part of a web portion 35, which forms the grip region of a recessed grip 36.
