Etwaige Verstopfungen können nach Abschwenken des Stutzens vom Umlenkungsteil in einfacher Weise entfernt werden. Beim üblichen Betrieb des Staubsaugers bilden beide Teile eine Einheit, wobei der Anschlußstutzen zur Verbindung des Staubsaugerschlauches mit dem Motorgehäuse auf letzteres aufgesetzt ist. Zur Reinigung des Saugkanals, insbesondere zur Entfernung von Verstopfungen, wird der Anschlußstutzen vom Motorgehäuse entfernt und der Stutzen vom Umlenkungsteil derart vom Benutzer abgeschwenkt, daß eine Öffnung (Revisionsöffnung) entsteht, die den Saugkanal zugänglich macht. Vorteilhafterweise sind der Stutzen und das Umlenkungsteil auch nach Öffnen des Saugkanals miteinander verbunden. Der Stutzen verbleibt nach einem Öffnen unverlierbar an dem Umlenkungsteil und somit am Saugschlauch. Es ist jedoch auch eine Ausbildung denkbar, bei welcher die beiden Teile vollständig voneinander getrennt werden können. Weitergehend ist vorgesehen, daß die Trennebene im wesentlichen senkrecht zu einer Stutzenachse verläuft. Vorteilhafterweise ist hierbei die Trennebene so gelegt, daß an dem Umlenkungsteil krümmungsaußenseitig eine im wesentlichen vollständige Umlenkung ausgebildet ist. Dies bedeutet bei einem um 90° gekrümmten Anschlußstutzen, daß das Umlenkungsteil krümmungsaußenseitig eine im wesentlichen vollständige 90°-Umlenkung aufweist. Demnach besitzt der abschwenkbare Stutzen in dem krümmungsaußenseitigen Bereich des Anschlußstutzens im wesentlichen keine Umlenkung. Vorteilhafterweise ist vorgesehen, daß die Trennebene krümmungsinnenseitig zum Beginn der Krümmung ausgebildet ist. Bevorzugt wird hierbei eine Ausgestaltung, bei der die Trennebene so gelegt ist, daß ein krümmungsaußenseitiger Umlenkungsbereich vollständig an dem Umlenkungsteil und ein krümmungsinnenseitiger Umlenkungsbereich vollständig an dem Stutzen ausgebildet ist. Durch die zweigeteilte Ausführung des Anschlußstutzens besteht fertigungstechnisch die Möglichkeit, die gesamte Kontur des Umlenkungsbereiches sowohl krümmungsaußen- als auch krümmungsinnenseitig zu verrunden. Im bekannten Stand der Technik sind die einteilig ausgebildeten Anschlußstutzen krümmungsinnenseitig mit scharfkantigen Umlenkungen versehen. Dies ist fertigungstechnisch bedingt. Durch die verrundete Kontur des krümmungsinnenseitigen Umlenkungsbereiches ist eine Verstopfungsgefahr beim Erfindungsgegenstand verringert. Weiter ist bei einer derartig angelegten Trennebene zwischen Stutzen und Umlenkungsteil noch von Vorteil, daß der gesamte Umlenkungsbereich freigelegt wird, womit die Zugänglichkeit zu Bereichen mit hoher Verstopfungsneigung deutlich erleichtert und eine einfache Beseitigung der Verstopfungsursache ermöglicht wird. Wie bereits erwähnt, nimmt das Umlenkungsteil zu dem abschwenkbaren Stutzen einen Winkel von ca. 90° ein. Bevorzugt wird hierbei eine Ausbildung, bei welcher die Umlenkung gleich oder größer als 90°, vorzugsweise 90 - 110° beträgt, bezogen auf den Winkel, den die Mittelachsen von Umlenkungsteil und Stutzen einschließen. Hierbei ist die Anordnung derart gewählt, daß die Trennebene mit der Mittelachse des Umlenkungsteils einen spitzen Winkel einschließt. Vorteilhafterweise beträgt der Winkel zwischen der Trennebene und der Mittelachse des Umlenkungsteils 0 - 20°, bevorzugt 10°. Bei einer exakten 90°-Umlenkung verläuft die Trennebene entsprechend parallel zur Mittelachse des Umlenkungsteils. Um die Handhabung mit dem Anschlußstutzen zu optimieren, ist weiter vorgesehen, daß das Umlenkungsteil mit dem Stutzen scharnierverbunden und gegenüberliegend zum Scharnier klipsverbunden ist. Hierzu kann der Stutzen mit einem Scharnierzapfen versehen sein, welcher in einer entsprechenden Aufnahme des Umlenkungsteiles gehalten ist. Dies kann derart realisiert sein, daß der Scharnierzapfen innerhalb der Aufnahme mittels eines Hintergriffes fixiert, jedoch drehbar gelagert ist. Um eine verbesserte Reinigung der beiden Teile des Anschlußstutzens zu ermöglichen, ist es denkbar, den Stutzen nach Abschwenken vom Umlenkungsteil von letzterem zu entfernen, indem der Scharnierzapfen entgegen der Wirkung des Hintergriffes aus der Aufnahme herausgezogen wird. Es sind jedoch auch andere Scharnierverbindungen vorsehbar, auch solche, die keine Trennung von Stutzen und Umlenkungsteil ermöglichen. Eine Sicherung des Stutzens am Umlenkungsteil in Betriebsstellung erfolgt mittels eines dem Scharnier gegenüberliegenden Klipsverschlusses. Zum Freilegen des Umlenkungsbereiches wird der Stutzen von dem Umlenkungsteil abgeschwenkt, wobei der Rastvorsprung des Umlenkungsteiles materialbedingt federnd zurückweichen kann.
