Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Küchenarbeitsplatte mit einer Aussparung, in die ein Einbaumodul eingesetzt ist, das einen umlaufenden Randbereich aufweist und das an seiner Vorderkante auf der Arbeitsplattenoberfläche aufliegt. Um auf einer derart bekannten Vorrichtung zu vermeiden, dass sich an der Hinterkante des Einbaumodules unerwünschte Schmutz und Feuchtigkeitsnester bilden, wird vorgeschlagen, das Einbaumodul an seiner Hinterkante mit einem angeformten, sich vom Randbereich nach oben erstreckenden Abschnitt zu versehen. Dieser soll vorzugsweise in der Ebene enden, in der auch die Hinterkante der Küchenarbeitsplatte liegt. Ein derart aufgekanteter Rand schützt den hinter dem Einbaumodul liegenden Bereich.
