Claims (6)
- Stranggießkokille (1) für flüssige Metalle, insbesondere für flüssige Stahlwerkstoffe, mit einem Eingießraum (2) für Gießformate (3), die aus Breitseitenplatten (4) und Schmalseitenplatten (5) gebildet sind oder auch einen anderen polygonalen Eingießraum (6) aufweisen, und auf der Heißseite (7) mit einer hochschmelzenden metallischen Schutzschicht (8) oder Feuerfestschicht versehen sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schutzschicht (8) aus dem hochschmelzenden Metall (9) im Eckbereich (10) zwischen Breitseitenplatten (4) und Schmalseitenplatten (5) auf der Schmalseitenfläche (5) mit deren Außenkante (5a) abschließend, in einem zumindest sich über einen Kokillen-Höhenbereich (11) erstreckenden, relativ schmalen Streifen (12) aufgetragen ist. - Stranggießkokille nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Breite (12a) des Streifens (12) in Stranglaufrichtung (13) zunehmend ausgeführt ist. - Stranggießkokille nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der relativ schmale Streifen (12) aus hochschmelzendem Metall (9) oder Feuerfeststoff in seiner Dicke (12b) in Höhe der Kokille (1) nach unten ansteigend ausgeführt ist. - Stranggießkokille nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der relativ schmale Streifen (12) in seiner Dicke (12b) in Richtung zur Mitte (14) der Schmalseiten-Fläche (5) hin dünner werdend gestaltet ist. - Stranggießkokille nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4"
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Streifen (12) an der Kokilleneintrittskante (15) beginnt und bis zur Kokillenaustrittskante (16) verläuft. - Stranggießkokille nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass innerhalb des polygonalen Eingießraums (2) Eckenbereiche (10) und /oder vorspringende Kanten (17) mit dem relativ schmalen Streifen (12) aus der Schutzschicht (8) versehen sind.
