  • Another purpose of the present invention is that of providing a pump group that allows the limitation of recirculation, reheating of petrol and the formation of a so-called vapour lock, a phenomenon that can occur in the presence of high temperatures under the bonnet that consists of the formation of bubbles of vapour in the piping of the feeding system.

  • the forked lever 13 has a projection that abuts against the base of the shaft 18 to guide the stroke of the shaft 18 and, consequently, of the piston 15 with respect to the cylinder 16.

  • the outlet fitting 32 is not present, therefore the feeding unit is provided with just one pipe for feeding from the reservoir to the pump 2, without the return branch.
  • the outlet of the regulator 6 must be connected, directly or indirectly, with the chamber 21 through a duct that can be outside or inside the pump 2.
  • the containment group 50 also comprises an air intake duct 3 on which it is foreseen to mount an elastic fitting 34 for the attachment of the throttled body, see figures 1 and 2 .
  • the pump group according to the present invention allows most of the components to be grouped together close to the throttled body of the engine, and also, unlike analogous systems adopted on four-wheeled vehicles, it has zero absorption of electricity and low cost and is small in size and, therefore, it has low impact upon the lay-out of the vehicle and finally it does not have high pressure pipes.

Claims (5)

  1. Groupe de pompe mécanique (1) pour des circuits d'alimentation en carburant pour des moteurs à injection à quatre temps, ledit groupe de pompe (1) étant monté sur le groupe moteur (100) pour exécuter l'alimentation à un débit variable en fonction des tours du moteur et comprenant un corps d'enceinte (50) comprenant au moins un injecteur (8), positionné à l'intérieur d'un boîtier relatif (4), une pompe mécanique d'alimentation (2) et une conduite de raccordement (7) entre ladite pompe (2) et ledit injecteur (8), caractérisé en ce que ladite pompe d'alimentation (2) est actionnée d'une manière alternante par un système desmodromique (11) comprenant un excentrique (12), disposé sur l'axe à came du groupe moteur (100) et accouplé à un levier à fourche (13) articulé sur la tête (51) du groupe moteur (100), ladite pompe d'alimentation (2) comprenant en outre un groupe constitué d'un vérin (16) et d'un piston (15), actionné par un arbre (18) actionné par ledit levier à fourche (13), et une chambre de refoulement (28) raccordée à ladite conduite de raccordement (7) et à une valve automatique (40) adaptée pour se soulever sous l'effet de la poussée dudit piston (15) pour produire le débit de carburant vers la chambre de refoulement (28) et pour redescendre en position en raison de l'action d'un moyen élastique (27), ladite valve (40) étant constituée d'une partie fixe (26) et d'une partie mobile (25), ladite partie mobile (25) pouvant se soulever en raison de l'action dudit piston (15) pour produire le débit de carburant à travers un ou plusieurs trous (33) vers ladite chambre de refoulement (28) et depuis ladite chambre de refoulement (28) vers ledit injecteur (8).
  2. Groupe de pompe (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté sur la tête (51) du groupe moteur (100).
  3. Groupe de pompe (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit corps d'enceinte (50) comprend un moyen de fixation réversible (52) sur la tête (51) du groupe moteur (100).
  4. Groupe de pompe (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite pompe d'alimentation (2) comprend également au moins un trou pour remplir ladite pompe d'alimentation (2) communiquant avec une conduite d'alimentation (22) venant d'un réservoir.
  5. Groupe de pompe (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit corps d'enceinte (50) comprend un raccord (34) pour un corps étranglé.
