Definitions
- the invention relates to a cover for a monitoring device, in particular for a surveillance camera with a lens and a lens surrounding it Tube and arranged outside the tube illumination device and / or a motion detector.
- surveillance cameras are widely used in all security-related areas.
- surveillance cameras for example, in the Cabins of civilian aircraft integrated around the cockpit door, the passenger doors, the passenger cabin or other hazardous areas as inconspicuous as possible check.
- surveillance cameras preferably work in invisible, near infrared, but also in the area of the human Be sensitive to the eye's visible light. Even in the dark or at night flights is to ensure the reliable use of surveillance cameras is additionally provided an infrared illumination for illuminating the receiving area.
- the prior art is a spatial separation between the camera optics and the Infrared lighting.
- the Cover When integrating the infrared radiator in a housing, the Cover usually made of several different materials. The structure of the cover made of different materials prevents under other reflections that can significantly degrade image quality.
- the surveillance camera is or the lens of an opaque tube made of plastic material Surrounded by a glare of the surveillance camera through the infrared lighting largely prevent.
- the tube is on the to the object of admission pointing side for translucent light in the visible range cover made of plastic or glass.
- the surveillance camera or the motion detector is therefore visible from the outside to the human eye, whereby the Camouflage of the monitoring device affected by the previously known cover is.
- the lighting device surrounding the tube can, for example from a ring arranged in a circle and evenly to each other spaced, infrared radiation emitting infrared light emitting diodes (IRED) formed be.
- IRED infrared radiation emitting infrared light emitting diodes
- a disadvantage of this previously known embodiment of a cover for a monitoring device is that their three-part construction as a result of the necessary Connections of the items constructively complex and therefore designed expensive. In particular, the manufacturing connection of the items is difficult and consequently expensive.
- an effective camouflage is the surveillance camera and therefore the entire arrangement because of the visible Light-permeable cover of the tube is not given. So for example small, relatively low-profile, so-called pinhead ("spy Lenses - used to provide adequate camouflage at all To ensure security camera.
- the previously known cover forms no continuous, outward-facing surface, so cleaning work be made more difficult.
- the cover is integrally formed and essentially only permeable to infrared radiation.
- Fig. 1 shows the cover 1 of the invention for a surveillance camera 2 and / or a motion detector not shown in the drawing in a side view.
- the surveillance camera 2 is preferably substantially sensitive to near infrared radiation and is equipped with an additional objective 3.
- Both the surveillance camera 2 and the lens 3 are concentric around an optical axis 4 is arranged.
- the objective 3 or the surveillance camera 2 are surrounded by a glare protection device 5.
- the cover 1 according to FIG. 1 the anti-glare device 5 as a tube 6, which is arranged rotationally symmetrically about the optical axis 4.
- the anti-glare device 5 deviating from the circular cross-sectional geometry shown an elliptical, have a square, rectangular or polygonal cross-section.
- the tube 6 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 is used primarily to crossfades the security camera 2 by the adjunct lighting device 7 to avoid.
- the tube 6 is made of a visible light and for In the near infrared, impermeable material is formed.
- As a material For example, through-colored plastic, metallic materials are used for the tube or the like.
- the illumination device comprises 7 a total of eight bulbs 8, the circular around the optical Axis 4 are arranged around and each having an equal distance to the adjacent Have light-emitting means (see Fig. 2).
- the lighting device 7 is required, for example, in complete darkness, as in the case of Night flights occurs, a sufficient exposure of the security camera 2 or To ensure illumination of the recording object to be recorded by her. Even in daylight can provide additional illumination of the recording area the security camera 2 may be required.
- the light-emitting means 8 are in the illustrated embodiment as infrared light-emitting diodes 9 formed, which emit substantially radiation in the near infrared range. deviant from the illustration of the illumination device 7 shown in FIGS. 1, 2 is a different number of infrared light emitting diodes 9 and / or a deviating geometric arrangement of the infrared light emitting diodes in the room possible, without leaving the basic idea of the invention. Finally, as Bulbs 8 are also used luminous bodies, based on a different technology as the illustrated infrared light emitting diodes 9 are based. To think about is in this context For example, to infrared lasers, infrared laser diodes or special Incandescent lamps and the like.
- Infrared LEDs 9 have in comparison to others Bulbs have a long life, are largely insensitive to Shakes and are therefore low maintenance. Therefore, be related with the cover 1 according to the invention preferably infrared light emitting diodes to illuminate the surveillance area in front of the camera or used the monitoring room.
- the cover 11 is made of a continuous, manufactured in one piece material, which is essentially only for radiation in the near Infrared region is permeable.
- the cover 11 is preferably made of a Plastic manufactured to a low mass and at the same time a high resistance to breakage to reach. Alternatively, because of the possibly better optical Properties are also used in glass. But plastic has opposite glass as a material has the advantage that in case of destruction of the cover 11 no dangerous splinters arise. Alternatively, other materials or material combinations may be used be used.
- the cover 11 rests on the edge 10 of the tube 6 (see Fig. 1).
- alternative To this embodiment is also a compound of the tube 6 with the cover 11, for example by gluing conceivable, so that this an integral Part of the cover 11 forms.
- the tube 6 with the Cover 11 screwed, riveted or otherwise firmly with this connected.
- plate-shaped cover 11 can a Viewer neither the lighting device 7 nor the surveillance camera. 2 with the upstream lens 3 from the outside easily recognize. From this This results in a large safety gain for the monitoring tasks mentioned above in the field of civil aviation as a result of better camouflage Surveillance camera through the cover 11 of the invention.
- the cover 11 may also be mirrored to the recognizability the surveillance camera 2 and / or the motion detector on.
- a mirrored version of the cover 11 allows a better optical integration of the cover 1 in special, predetermined interior equipment environments of passenger planes and other means of passenger transport.
- the cover 11, for example, formed as a large mirror be who the surveillance camera 2 with the lighting device 7 and / or makes the motion detector almost invisible to observers.
- the inventive Cover 1 also allows optimal camouflage large, bright and thus strong picture lenses 3. The use of poor picture Pinhead or "spy hole” lenses are no longer required. Finally, the cover 1 ensures optimum mechanical lens protection.
- the cover 11 is for example circular.
- the cover 11 may also have a deviating, any geometric design.
- the cover 11 may also have a deviating from the planar shape cross-section and, for example, be corrugated or provided with a surface structure.
- the infrared light emitting diodes 9 positioned below the cover 11 below the cover 11 .
- the surveillance camera 2 with the lens 3 is concentrically surrounded by the tube 6 (also indicated by dashed lines).
- the tube 6 also indicated by dashed lines.
- Deviating geometric arrangements are possible. So, for example the tube 6 and / or the objective 3 are positioned eccentrically to the monitoring camera 2 be.
- motion detector also is positioned in the area of the surveillance camera 2.
- the motion detector indicates the detection of movements of a subject in the recording area the surveillance camera 2 in a known manner at least two sensor areas on.
- the motion detector is designed so that this particular is sensitive to infrared radiation. A movement is caused by the motion detector detected in a known manner by different sensor areas of the motion detector in chronological succession to the incident infrared radiation respond and deliver appropriate signals to an evaluation.
- the lens 3 is in this embodiment at least partially as Fresnel lens formed on the optical axis 4 incoming light on different areas of the motion detector deflects and thus the motion detection of recording objects in front of the surveillance camera.
- the cover 11 is designed, the incident light in turn to certain areas of the lens 3 directs.
- the lens Account for 3 in this variant the cover 11 then partially as Fresnel lens is formed, which in turn determines the impinging radiation on certain Areas of the motion detector deflects.
- one-piece and continuous cover 11 is a good camouflage of Surveillance camera 2 given, so that large and strong picture lenses 3 can be used.
- the cover 11 of the invention leaves the surveillance camera 2 is almost "invisible" in given interior furnishing environments of civil passenger aircraft in particular.
- the one-piece design of the cover 11 is a cost-effective production given.
- the detachment of parts by vibrations, etc. is preferred because of one-piece design of the cover 11 also impossible.
- Lighting device according to the invention are still the luggage and cargo areas in civil and military aircraft.
- lighting device according to the invention is not on the application in Area of civil passenger aviation limited.
- Conceivable are applications in other safety-related areas, such as room monitoring in buildings, surveillance of outside areas and passenger areas in transport facilities for public local and long-distance transport.
