Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de colmatage pour produire un film d'oxyde présentant des bonnes propriétés de résistance à la corrosion saline sur un substrat de métal.
De façon caractéristique, ledit procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes consistant :
- à fournir une solution de colmatage tamponnée comportant au moins un sel simple de cobalt II et au moins un sel simple de lithium III ;
- à mettre en contact ledit substrat de métal, ayant sa surface préalablement oxydée, avec ladite solution de colmatage pendant une durée suffisante pour former un film d'oxyde mixte cobalt/lithium.
Ce procédé est tout particulièrement applicable à un substrat de métal réalisé en aluminium ou en alliage d'aluminium anodisé en milieu sulfurique.
