Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electric drive device for a rotor, in particular for driving a rotatably mounted pump impeller of a centrifugal pump, comprising a runner-containing wet area and a separate dry area, wherein at least one fixed, an electromagnetic rotating field generating winding part separates the wet area from the dry area, wherein the windings of the winding part are connected to a commutator device, and in that the rotatable component has, at least on a side facing the winding part, a first magnetic field device which interacts with the winding part by an electric motor
  • a wet area containing the pump impeller is usually separated from a dry area containing the electric drive by means of sealing elements, for example mechanical seals or the like.
  • sealing elements for example mechanical seals or the like.
  • Corrosive media in particular, can lead to premature aging or damage to the sealing elements and thus to dysfunctions between the wet and dry areas which impair the function.
  • inside-out motors are known in which an outer rotor is arranged around an inner stator.
  • Inside-out motors are disclosed, for example, by the documents US 5,986,379 A, US 6,239,532 B1 and US 6,286,199 B1 and are usually designed as electronically commutated electric motors.
  • DE 196 27 854 A1 shows a pump motor with stator magnet system, which is separated from the rotor magnet system located in the wet area by a sealing membrane.
  • the device further comprises a commutator ring and two collector brushes each in a brush holder which is rotatably mounted and driven by the magnetic force from the rotor.
  • JP 63-154037 A shows a pump motor in axial gap design, in which the wet area is separated from the dry area via a disk associated with the stator yoke arrangement.
  • US Pat. No. 3,870,914 A shows a pump motor with a rotating brush arrangement, in which the brush drive can be operated via a rotor with a further stationary commutator.
  • WO 01/38741 A1 discloses a liquid pump with a wet area having a rotor, which is separated from a dry area by a winding part.
  • the commutator is designed as a preferably fixed, mechanical commutator, that in the dry area at least one mechanical commutator contacting, circumferentially formed pair of brushes is arranged, wherein preferably the brush pair is held by a rotatable brush holder, which brush holder by a Brush holder drive is driven and that the brush holder drive comprises a rotor with rotor windings and a rotatable auxiliary commutator connected thereto, which is contacted by a preferably fixed auxiliary brush pair, wherein a fixed second magnetic field device is provided for the rotor.
  • the commutator device is preferably arranged in the dry area.
  • the brush holder drive thus has its own, separate from the winding disk separate secondary drive, which drives the brushes of the prime mover. It is provided that the brush pair is preferably conductively connected via slip rings with a load voltage source and the auxiliary brush pair with a control voltage source. From the constant voltage supply from the load voltage source, the current required for the respective load state is provided without the use of control electronics.
  • the speed control of the pump impeller via the auxiliary drive which rests with its sub-brushes on the control voltage of the variable control voltage source.
  • the secondary drive can be controlled via conventional engine electronics.
  • the power required for the secondary drive is only a fraction of the total power required in the system, for example, about 10% of the total power. Thus, can Instead of a complex and expensive power electronics a simpler and cheaper control unit can be used.
  • the rotor and / or the brush holder is rotatably mounted on a fixed axis, wherein preferably the winding part is fixedly connected to the axis.
  • the solid, liquid and gas tight connected to the axis fixed winding part which may be formed as a pot or as a disk, separates the wet area of the dry area by a liquid and gas-tight contact with the housing.
  • the brushes of the brush pair are guided over the stationary mechanical collector. It is essential that the brush holder drive for driving the brush pair is hydraulically separated from the rotatable component in order to guarantee complete hydraulic separation of the wet area from the dry area.
  • the commutator can be designed as a flat commutator.
  • the flat commutator, together with the pair of brushes arranged in the axial direction, has the advantage that the brushes can not be lifted by centrifugal force.
  • a rod armature motor can be used for primary and secondary drive.
  • a high efficiency can be achieved if the first and / or second magnetic field device is formed by a permanent magnetic material. This makes it possible to achieve a synchronous drive of the rotor. Alternatively, it can also be provided that the first and / or second magnetic field device is formed by at least one winding. With this asynchronous version, cost advantages over the synchronous version can be achieved.
  • the figures each show a housing 1 with an electric drive device 2 for a connected for example with a pump impeller, formed by a rotor 3 rotatable component.
  • the wet region 4 containing the rotor 3 is separated in a liquid-tight manner from the drying region 5 by a winding part 6.
  • the winding part 6 is connected to a fixed axis 7.
  • the rotor 3 is rotatably mounted with respect to the axis 7, wherein the bearings are designated by reference numeral 8.
  • the static winding part 6 has windings 9, which are in conductive connection with a commutator 10.
  • a first magnetic field device 16 is mounted on the side of the winding part 6.
  • a rotating field is generated, which drives the rotor 3 by the magnetic field device 16.
  • the magnetic field device 16 may be formed by permanent magnetic material or by windings.
  • the commutator device 10 is formed by a mechanical commutator 10a.
  • Reference numeral 8a designates the mounting of the brush holder 13 about the axis 7.
  • the brush holder drive 17 is formed as a separate secondary drive with its own rotor 21 with rotor windings, which is fixedly connected to the brush holder 13 and in this way the brushes 11, 12 drives for the prime mover.
  • the brushes 11, 12 have their own power supply by being connected via slip rings 14, 15 with a load voltage source U L.
  • the auxiliary brushes 22, 23 for the brush holder drive 17 are fixed and connected to a control voltage source U st .
  • the auxiliary commutator 24 of the brush holder drive 17 is rotatable about the axis 7.
  • a fixed second magnetic field and feedback device 26 is provided for the rotor 21, a fixed second magnetic field and feedback device 26 is provided.
  • Reference numeral 25 designates a leftward conclusion of the winding disk 6.
  • the winding part 6 can be designed as a disk 6a (FIG. 1) or as a pot 6b (FIG. 2).
