Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltkammer für einen Leistungsschalter mit einer eine Schalterachse (5) umgebenden Wand, wobei diese Wand in einem Isolationsbereich aus einem nicht leitenden Material gefertigt ist und mindestens eine Ausnehmung (4) aufweist, dergestalt, dass jede Projektion der Schalterachse (5) auf die Wand zumindest eine solche Ausnehmung (4) schneidet. Dadurch wird bei gegebenen Abmessungen der Schaltkammer eine vergrößerte Isolationsstrecke und eine Reduzierung einer für Ablagerungen von Abbrandmaterial anfälligen Fläche der Wand der Schaltkammer erreicht.
