Description

The invention relates to a submarine according to the features indicated in the preamble of claim 1.

In submarines, it is state of the art, within the pressure hull bow and / or stern side following the torpedo tubes to provide a reserve weapon space in which more weapons, especially torpedoes are stored. The torpedoes are typically stored in containers, which in turn are arranged in a storage and transport frame, which is arranged shock-resistant within the pressure hull of the submarine. This frame is used both for storage and for transport, ie to bring a container in flight to a torpedo tube, either to receive a torpedo in the container or to load the torpedo from the container into the torpedo tube. Such a storage and transport device is, for example EP 1 078 849 A2 known.

In some submarines, the torpedoes may also be picked up by a torpedo submarine, but here too the storage of the torpedoes typically takes place in containers, and it is also necessary to move the container whose torpedo is to be loaded into the torpedo tube to the appropriate location.

The space on submarines is limited, in particular, the frame for storing the weapons located in the containers takes up a considerable space in the boat, which is otherwise unusable. In addition, submarines are being used today for purposes in which weapons, in particular torpedoes are not required or only to a very limited extent.

Against this background, the invention has the object to be able to use the available on a submarine reserve weapon space flexible.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims, the following description and the drawing.

The basic idea of the present invention is to use parts of the reserve weapon space for other purposes without impairing the functionality of the storage and transport frame and thus the possibility of carrying reserve weapons and reloading these reserve weapons into the torpedo tubes. According to the invention for this purpose, a device for receiving equipment, supplies and / or crew is provided in this transport and storage rack. In this case, this device is arranged so that it does not hinder the function of the reserve weapon space, in particular the transport and storage rack. Preferably, the arrangement is such that the receiving device is mounted within the frame instead of a weapons container, and preferably exactly at the attachment points where otherwise the container is attached. In this way, it is possible individually and, if necessary, to exchange a container for a receiving device or vice versa. In principle, any number of containers can be exchanged by receiving devices. Conveniently, at least one weapon container, preferably an empty container should remain in the frame so that even at sea there is the possibility, if necessary, to remove a weapon from a torpedo tube.

In order to use the recording device as universally as possible, this is formed according to an embodiment of the invention by a receiving chassis, which is mounted in the frame, and by one or more receiving modules, which are incorporated in the receiving chassis. Preferably, form-locking connections are provided between the receiving chassis and the modules, which hold the modules reliably and firmly on the chassis.

A receiving module is suitably adapted to the individual requirements of the particular application. According to the invention, for example, a receiving module is provided, which is designed as a bunk, which thus has a padded support and is formed upwardly open or with appropriate clearance to serve a person as a sleeping or resting place. The dimensions of such a recording module are adapted to the anatomical dimensions of a human.

Furthermore, recording modules are provided according to the invention, which are designed as containers. These can be designed to be open, but preferably completely closable and thus closed by a cover or a door, in order to receive supplies or in particular equipment or even equipment. The variety of applications of such recording modules is not limited to the aforementioned two embodiments, it can also be provided receiving modules that are designed as a pressure vessel, tank, unit or the like. Conveniently, a receiving module in its dimensions is formed so that it does not completely fill the underlying chassis, but that several, preferably three such receiving modules can be arranged one behind the other on a chassis and fixed. Then, namely on the basis of today's submarines smaller and medium size conventional weapons containers three receiving modules are arranged on a chassis one behind the other, which are formed as a berth, if a Kojenmaß of typically 2 meters in length and 60 cm width is used as a basis. It is then appropriate to form the other recording modules in the same size (length and width), so that they are interchangeable and can be arranged virtually arbitrary. Another advantage of this compared to the receiving chassis significantly smaller recording modules is that then can be recorded on the usually existing Akkuluk and not to be exchanged in the manner of a torpedo together with the entire chassis.

In order to ensure a secure attachment of the receiving modules on the receiving chassis, it is expedient to connect them together with appropriate positive locking means. For this purpose, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one preferably spring-loaded pivoting lever is provided on the receiving chassis, which pivots on the receiving chassis and engages with one end laterally in a corresponding recess of the receiving module form-fitting manner. It may also be provided a projection on the receiving module, which is locked by a hook-shaped lever end or other suitable form-fitting connection. When using the aforementioned spring-loaded lever which engages in a recess on the side of the receiving module, this is preferably used in pairs on opposite sides, since then a module when placed on the chassis a lever pair against spring force forces apart until the lever ends finally in the module-side depressions , For example grooves, slide, so as to lock the module automatically when placing. To remove the levers must then be subjected to appropriate force and swung out.

It is advantageous if the receiving chassis has a downwardly tapering cross-sectional contour, since then the insertion of the modules is particularly simple, since they center themselves automatically when inserting and move into their intended position. In addition, the lateral bevel downwards ensures the freedom of movement within the frame according to the usually in cross-section circular weapon containers.

In order to avoid design changes to the transport and storage rack is provided according to the invention, that the receiving device consisting of receiving chassis and one or more receiving modules is designed in size so that it lies within the space that would occupy a arranged at this point in the frame weapons container. For then it is ensured that the function of the storage and transport rack is not affected. This also makes it clear why, with a tapered cross-sectional contour of the receiving chassis, there is a particularly good utilization of the available space in the lower region of the device.

In Fig. 1b the cross-section is represented by a pressure hull 1 of a submarine not shown in detail, in the area of a reserve weapon space 2, which is arranged between a lower deck 3 and an upper deck 4 in the front end region of the pressure hull 1. Within this reserve weapon space 2, a transport and storage rack 5 is arranged in a conventional manner, in which a plurality of elongated and substantially cylindrical weapon containers are stored. These weapon containers 6 are typically filled with one torpedo each, the transport and storage rack 5 being designed and arranged such that the containers 6 are movable within the rack 5 such that each gun container 6 can be brought into alignment with a torpedo tube arranged in front of it. according to which a weapon, in particular a torpedo from the container 6 in a torpedo tube or vice versa can be spent. The Fig. 1 shows an arrangement as it belongs to the prior art, in which, for example, seven gun containers 6 are provided, which are mounted within the transport and storage rack 5. The arrangement is typically such that the six arranged inside the frame 5 gun container 6 are filled with weapons, whereas the seventh next to the frame 5 arranged weapons container is empty and serves to remove the weapon contained in a torpedo tube from this and then stored safely within the boat.

In the arrangement according to Fig. 2 two of the arranged within the frame 5 gun container 6 are removed and replaced by receiving devices, which is formed in each case from a receiving chassis 7 and a plurality of modules 8 attached thereto. A receiving chassis 7 forms a supporting platform for receiving modules 8 and is connected at the same attachment points with the transport and storage rack 5, on which the container 6 are fixed. A receiving chassis 7 has (see Fig. 4 ) has a substantially trapezoidal and downwardly tapered cross-section and has on its sides in each case a pair of arranged levers 9, which are acted upon by force that their free ends are pivoted in the direction of the longitudinal center plane of the receiving chassis 7. Approximately half the length of a lever 9, an inwardly projecting nose 10 is provided, which is provided for positive engagement in a module in this area arranged groove 11. The levers 9 are not only arranged in pairs opposite to each other but also connected in pairs on each side. They can be pivoted away in counter-spring force and form with ten lugs 10 positive locking elements which hold the modules form-fitting manner within the receiving chassis 7.

In the described embodiment, two types of modules 8 are provided, namely a module 8a, which essentially has a padded support, but otherwise is open at the top and forms a berth (see Fig. 5 ) and a module 8b (see Fig. 4 ), which forms a container which is closed by a swing-lid 12. The open chassis 7 are closed at the front, so that the modules 8 are held positively in the longitudinal direction.

In the arrangement according to Fig. 2 are in the upper chassis 7 three berth modules 8a and in the lower chassis 7 three container modules 8b incorporated, the receiving chassis 7 with the modules incorporated therein is sized so that it corresponds approximately to the size of a weapons container 6, so that the transport function of the frame 5 is not affected.

The horizontally extending connecting sections 13, which each connect two levers 9 arranged on one side of the receiving chassis 7, not only allow two levers 9 to be actuated simultaneously but also form a protective bar, in particular for the bunk modules 8 a. This guard 13 can be pivoted with the levers 9 against spring force by 180 ° down and fixed there. The lugs 10 are shaped so that when inserting a module 8 in a receiving chassis 7 from above, the lever 9 are automatically pressed outwards until the module 8 has reached the bottom of the chassis 7, after which the lever 9 with your noses 10 in the Engage grooves 11 of the modules automatically and thus secure this form fit within the chassis 7.

In the embodiment according to Fig. 3 six weapons containers are replaced by receiving devices in the form of receiving chassis 7 with modules 8 arranged therein, so that almost the entire reserve weapons space can be used elsewhere. As the representation 3b illustrates, however, a preferably empty weapon container 6 is maintained, so that the weapon located in a torpedo tube can be removed if necessary and stored safely within the boat.

In the above embodiments always a combination of berth modules 8a and 8b container modules is shown, it is understood that they can be combined according to the individual requirements. Also, other modules, such as container modules, Aggregate modules or the like may be provided, which can be used in place of the illustrated modules 8a, 8b.

In the embodiments described above, the receiving chassis 7 are integrally formed and have the same length as the gun container 6. For submarines, which have no Torpedoluk, the receiving chassis 7 may also be designed to be split over the Akkulukschacht of the submarine in spent the body 1 or can be brought out of this.
