Abstract

The invention relates to an agitating mill, in which the agitating shaft is provided with several disc-type milling elements. In previous models the milling discs were replaced by being removed disc by disc from the shaft, together with any spacers that were arranged in between and new discs were then mounted. According to the invention, the milling elements consist of several disc segments, which permits the replacement of individual milling elements without having to dismantle additional milling elements on the shaft.

Description

The invention relates to an agitator mill with a grinding container and a stirring shaft rotating therein on which a plurality of disk-shaped grinding elements are arranged in series.

From the US 4513917 An agitating mill is known in which a stirring shaft is arranged in the grinding chamber. The agitator shaft carries at an axial distance from each other a plurality of disc-shaped grinding elements. Each of the grinding elements is bounded radially by an edge bead. Between this edge bead and a hub which is connected by a pin connection with the agitator shaft, the grinding element 4 has circular openings. The grinding element itself is attached via an internal thread in the stirring shaft region with an external thread on the hub. So that the grinding element can be firmly connected to the hub, the hub is provided only over a portion of its surface facing the grinding chamber with a thread with reduced hub outer diameter. If the grinding element is screwed onto this thread of the hub, the grinding element abuts against the hub part of larger diameter and is clamped therewith. If one or more grinding elements except on the last wear on the stirring shaft, which inevitably occurs after a certain number of operating hours, the previously arranged grinding elements must always be removed from the stirring shaft for replacement.

From the WO-A1-01 / 51212 is an agitator mill with a grinding container and a rotating therein agitator shaft sitting on the disc-shaped several grinding segments known.

From the US-A-4 018 385 An agitating mill is known in which the grinding elements are propellers with interchangeable propeller blades.

From the US-A-4,242,002 An agitating mill with a screw conveyor is known as a grinding element. The screw conveyor has a shaft to which a screw surface is welded. Spiral segments are screwed to the screw surface.

From D4-A-4 021 024 a disk-shaped grinding element for a stirred mill is known. The grinding element is a one-piece disc. For better mixing and increasing the grinding performance of the material to be ground, the disc has on both sides orthogonal standing on the disc surface webs.

The object of the invention is to make the grinding elements so that an exchange of individual grinding elements is made possible.

The object is achieved by an agitator mill according to claim 1.

Further advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the features of the dependent claims.

The solution according to the invention consists of assembling a disc-shaped grinding element of several disc segments. Thus, there is the possibility during wear or breakage of grinding discs to replace them individually, without always the removal of the stirring shaft or the removal of all or more Grinding elements is necessary. This saves a lot of assembly time, especially with large agitator mills with a large diameter of the grinding elements. For example, with this option, grinding elements from wear-intensive grinding zones can be exchanged for grinding elements from wear-resistant grinding zones after certain operating hours. When mounting or dismounting grinding elements with up to 2 m cross-section and more, the weight of the grinding elements also plays an essential role. Of course, if the grinding elements consist of several disc segments, this naturally also reduces the technical complexity involved in the changeover process.

According to a development of the invention, the grinding elements can also be provided with a one- or multi-part hub. The advantage of using a detachable from the disc segments hub is that the hub can be made of a different material and thus can be interpreted for other load criteria.

On the basis of a further development of the invention, the disk segments are connected by screw with the one or more parts hub, the screw in the radial direction of the passages in the segments to reach into the hub.

Since according to a further inventive development of the invention, the parting line of the hub to the parting line of the disc segments is offset by 15-90 °, the grinding element can be made of only 4 hub and disc segments finished. In particular, in the case of the coating of the disk segments with wear material, which is necessary from time to time, this is advantageous since a hub can be quickly separated from the disk segments.

In an embodiment of the invention, the grinding disc on passages. Through these passages the grinding effect is increased. In addition, the disk segments can be interconnected with screws, which are directed from one passage to the other.

The stability of the disc consisting of several disc segments can or must be increased depending on the size of the diameter of the grinding disc. For this purpose, the joints of the disk segments are designed differently, the variants ranging from a mere blunt approach over projections and recesses to groove-spring designs.

Im Folgenden ist die Erfindung anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert:The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments:

Fig. 1 illustrates a refining element 12 consisting of five disc segments 14, 16, 18, 20, 22. The disc segments have a disc core 24 surrounded by a plastic or rubber layer 26. The disk segments are on their legs 28, 30, as well as in Fig. 2 shown provided with projections 32 and recesses 34, which provide for the axial support of the disc transitions. To increase the grinding and mixing capacity, which transfer the grinding elements to the Mahlgut- / Mahlkörpergemisch, the disc segments 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 have slot-shaped apertures 36. The five disc segments 14 to 22 and the centrally arranged one-piece hub are through Screws 40 connected together. The positive connection between the drive shaft and the hub 38 is formed by the insertion of a spring in the groove 42nd

Depending on how the transition of the disk segments 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 is designed, in the example accordingly Fig. 2 in a blunt embodiment, the attachment between the disc segments 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and the hub changes. to Increasing the stability are the disk segments, as in Fig. 3 represented, clamped by a double connection by screws 40, 40 'with the hub 38.

The in Fig. 4 Partial sectional view of a pair of disk segments 18 ', 20' can each have a web 44, 44 'with corresponding plastic or rubber coating 26 recognize.

In all previous embodiments of the grinding elements, although the disk segments 14 to 22 can be removed or replaced individually, but the hub 38 itself is in one piece and includes the stirring shaft. Thus, the hub or hubs 38 can only be removed from the stirrer shaft by the removal of one or more hubs 38 or any spacers between the hubs.

Jedes Scheibensegment 46, 48 ist um beispielsweise 90° versetzt zu den Trennfugen 64, 64' der Nabenelemente 50, 52.The Fig. 5 illustrates a refining element 12 which is composed of both two disc segments 46, 48, as well as two hub elements 50, 52. In the made of plastic (polyamide, polyurethane) disc elements 46, 48 metal reinforcements 54, 56, 58, 60 are introduced. These metal reinforcements 54, 56, 58, 60 are connected by screws to the hub. Each disk segment 46, 48 is offset, for example by 90 °, from the parting lines 64, 64 'of the hub elements 50, 52.

The Fig. 6 illustrates the design of the legs of the disk segments 46, 48 after Fig. 5 , The illustrated dovetail connection, which enter the two disc segments 46, 48 in the region of their legs, increases their stabilization in addition to the fastening by the screws.

Another way to connect the disk segments 65, 66, 68,70 to the hub 38, show FIGS. 7 and 8 , Here, the disk segments are fastened in the inner radius region in the direction of their axis of rotation A on a web projecting outwardly from the hub 38. Each of the four disk segments 65, 66, 68, 70 has two screw connections in this overlapping region of web 72 and disk segment 65, 66, 68, 70. The screws 74 used for this purpose penetrate the core 76 of the disk segments 65, 66, 68, 70 and are bolted to the thread in the web 72. The coating 26, which is recessed in this area, supplemented here by individual covers 78, 80 made of plastic or rubber, so that the higher wear exposed surface of the disk segments is completely provided with a coating.

According to a further variant of the invention, a direct connection of two or more disk segments is provided. In these embodiments, the disk segments are bolted directly to and with each other. Here screws extend from the apertures to the adjacent disc segment. Alternatively, pin connections in the area of the shaft or clamping connections between the projections on the disk segments can also provide the firm connection. In this type of connection, no central hub is provided in the center of the disc elements.
