- the basic idea of the invention is, depending on a standardized wooden profile for a Frame 10 and a matching window frame 12 available to do this without the need for large machines or for example, a simple miter saw, as in Figure 1 with a saw blade 14 is indicated, can be further processed to a finished window.
- the invention standardized wooden profiles are made of glued plywood completely prefabricated, profiled, provided with a surface protection that only the tailoring, but no further treatment, such as painting is necessary, since the visible and especially the weather-exposed Surfaces and any critical intermediate layers are permanently protected.
- the window frame or the sash profile 12 is shown in the drawing Example of a middle wood with two layers 20 and 22; but it can also three layers of a cheap wood to be glued together. Outside will open the sash profile 12 a cover layer 24 of solid wood in a thin layer applied with a special glue. Inside is also a thin solid wood cover layer 28 of the same kind of wood as the middle wood or of a precious wood species applied, which may even adapted to the type of wood of an interior can be. The application is done by a Spezialverleimung, at the same time as Steam diffusion barrier from inside to outside is used. Additionally or alternatively becomes under a film to be applied tempered wood, so-called "Thermowood", definitely used a tempered wood. Such tempered woods have the advantage of forming a dimensionally stable substrate, causing delamination be avoided, even if at the Gehrungslitis moisture briefly should have no adverse consequences.
- the profile 10 for the frame is also glued from several layers, of the example shown here only two layers 42 and 44 in the drawing are.
- a conventional profile construction as a three-layered trench is both for the frame profile 10 as the sash profile 10 possible. Outside is the same cover layer 24 and inside the same solid wood cover layer 28 as in the sash profile 12 applied.
- the outer plates 24 are tempered, as mentioned "ThermoWood".
- Both the frame profile 10 as the sash profile 10th are deep-impregnated oil-free in a double vacuum method, whereby the profiles a Wood protection and a water-repellent property for a long life with be set on the way.
- the protective layer 26 may be a plastic film (PVC), be an acrylic film, and in any case an available film that is sufficient smooth and firm.
- PVC plastic film
- acrylic layer can also be applied directly to the outer cover layer 24. It is essential that the protective layer 26 not only the front side of the cover layer 24, but also the weathered adjacent edges covered. It It is also possible to apply layers of a thin film in nanotechnology. Tests have shown that oil impregnations do not provide a good primer. Other impregnations are preferable.
- An easy-to-illustrate primer provides an outer fin as a cover layer 24 of thermo-treated beech, wherein the thermal treatment at a temperature up to 200 ° C can take place.
- the outer offers Layer 26 by a firm adhesion a safe and lasting protection and leaves either transparent or translucent the wood of the underlying Cover layer 24 become visible to the desired aesthetic impression of a Wooden window to leave visible or a suitably colored and shaped Foil covers the underlying wood, but it remains recognizable a wooden window with all the good features of a wooden window.
- the difference to metal ore Kunststoffoffppen remains clear and yet can be with the invention of the alleged advantages of these wooden replacement windows both in terms of installation, achieve maintenance and cost as well.
- both profiles 10 and 12 with all cutouts and grooves and the protective layers prefabricated in series ready for use inside and outside and in cut-to-length rods 15 (see Figure 1) for both an immediate one Further processing or for further processing by third parties via the trade made available.
- the resulting wooden windows in high quality itself produce can be, for example, a single-leaf window (see Figures 3 and 4) with the dimensions up to approx. 2.25 m2 installation space or a mounting dimension of up to approx. 1.5 m x 1.5 m or other proportional distribution from sides to widths in produce a rectangular cross-section.
- a glass groove 32 for glazing without glazing bead In the sash profile 12 is romeein sake a glass groove 32 for glazing without glazing bead. In this glass groove 32 is below a water collecting channel 40th Although in the standard profile mainly in the lateral and bottom Area of the window is needed, but also without damage around, so too up around, can run. Only for a drain of the water is exclusive below a drainage hole 54 subsequently still in place or to install in the finished window, but this does not mean much extra effort. It For example, the drainage bore 54 may be at a specific marked location 11 of the rod 15 with prefabricated. Then the end-processor will make sure that this Marked point 11 when cutting for the underlying window sash section is provided. However, the subsequent attachment of drainage holes is preferred 54 at the best place before installation.
- the upper edge of the glass groove 32 receives in prefabrication on each of the two Edge a fold 34 for a possible glass seal.
- a gear box 30 for receiving fittings or Provided rods.
- this groove 30 is also in the assembly of the sash profile 12, as will be explained in more detail below.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a wood window system. Although wooden windows are still more popular than metal or plastic windows and especially in the Housing still because of the outgoing from wooden windows comfort In many cases, however, a balance will be made, if not other materials because of the ease of care are preferable. Many apartment owners or builders shy away from the need to repaint wooden windows regularly to have to. Furthermore, wooden windows are still being manufactured individually today manufactured and are therefore already expensive to manufacture and installation.
With the previous color coatings of solid woods on the outside, the Weathering side could until today no satisfactory, long-lasting surface protection be achieved. The wooden windows have to be repainted within a few years become. For this reason, the proportion of wooden windows has been increasing continuously for years from. Plastic windows, on the other hand, are increasing or increasing because they do not have the defect of insufficiently long surface protection and because the plastic windows are cheaper priced.
It is therefore the object of the advantages of wood for a cost-effective production of windows also by less skilled craftsmen continue to be usable too and the shortcomings or disadvantages hitherto seen as an obstacle turn off other materials.
DE 41 17 403 C2 is a laminated wood profile strip for the creation of Blend and / or sash described in the manufacture of windows or doors, which can be glued together and which are covered with plastic sheeting.
For this purpose, however, not pure wood, but are used strips of fiberboard.
An Stossstellen
After the utility model DE 297 09 956 it is known for solid wood windows on
the weather side plastic films, also to use acrylic films. At shock points
However, additional sealing joints or cover strips are considered necessary.
Such films are also used as surfaces for sports fields (
In contrast, the solution according to the invention leads according to the appended claims to a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution, the wooden windows makes attractive again and in particular the production of maintenance-free Wooden windows allows.
Wood is statically resilient. For Kunstoffenster, on the other hand, there is a steel reinforcement necessary. Wood is the warmer material as a natural product. An elaborate and expensive after-treatment of the wood surfaces can be omitted.
According to the invention, the wood look with decades of durability of the outside, namely the weathering side of the wooden window paired.
Further details, features and advantages will become apparent from the following description an embodiment shown in the drawing and from the Claims.
The basic idea of the invention is, depending on a standardized wooden profile for a
The window frame or the
The
For these reasons, both
In the
Similarly, the plywood for the
A circulating
To assemble the miter-
