Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wooden window according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a wooden window is known from DE-U-20009684 known.
- wooden windows are still more popular than metal or plastic windows and are still preferred in residential construction because of the comfort emanating from wooden windows, it is often still a matter of consideration whether other materials are preferable because of their ease of maintenance.
- wooden windows are still made in single-part production nowadays and are therefore already expensive to produce and install.
- From the DE 41 17 403 C2 is a laminated wood profile strip for creating glare and / or casement in the production of windows or doors described that can be glued together and which are covered with plastic sheeting.
- Wood is statically resilient. For Kunststoffofmet, on the other hand, a steel reinforcement is necessary. Wood is the warmer material as a natural product. A complex and expensive post-treatment of the wood surfaces can be omitted.
- the basic idea of the invention is to provide a standardized wood profile for a window frame 10 and a matching window frame 12, which can be produced without large machines or workshop expenditure with simple means, for example a simple miter saw as shown in FIG. 1 is indicated with a saw blade 14, can be further processed into a finished window.
- the inventively standardized wood profiles are completely prefabricated from glued plywood, profiled, provided with a surface protection that only the tailor-made trimming, but no further treatment, such as painting is required because the visible and especially the weather-exposed surfaces and possibly critical Intermediate layers are permanently protected.
- the window frame or the sash profile 12 consists in the example shown in the drawing of a middle wood with two layers 20 and 22; but it can also be glued together three layers of inexpensive wood.
- a top layer 24 of solid wood is applied to the sash profile 12 in a thin layer with a special bonding.
- Inside is also a thin solid wood cover layer 28 of the same kind of wood as the middle wood or applied from a kind of exotic wood, which may even be adapted to the type of wood interior fitting.
- the application is done by a special bonding, which also serves as a vapor diffusion barrier from the inside out.
- tempered wood so-called "thermowood” is in any case used as a tempered wood under a film to be applied. Such tempered woods have the advantage of forming a dimensionally stable substrate, causing delamination be avoided. Even if moisture penetrates at the miter points for a short time, there are no detrimental consequences.
- the profile 10 for the frame is also glued from several layers, of which in the example again only two layers 42 and 44 are shown in the drawing. Likewise, a conventional profile structure as a three-layer skirt for both the frame profile 10 as the sash profile 10 is possible. Outside the same cover layer 24 and inside the same solid wood cover layer 28 as applied to the sash profile 12. The outer plates 24 are tempered, as the mentioned "Thermowood". Both the frame profile 10 as the sash profile 10 are deeply impregnated oil-free in a double vacuum method, whereby the profiles are given a wood protection and a water-repellent property for a long life on the way.
- the impregnation on the outer or weather sides creates a good primer for a protective layer 26, with which both profiles 10 and 12 are already provided during the prefabrication in order to make any painting unnecessary.
- the protective layer 26 may be a plastic film (PVC), an acrylic film, and in any case an available film that is sufficiently smooth and strong to apply.
- a plastic layer an acrylic layer can also be applied directly to the outer cover layer 24. It is essential that the protective layer 26 covers not only the front side of the cover layer 24, but also the subsequent edges exposed to the weather. It is also possible to apply layers of a thin film in nanotechnology. Tests have shown that oil impregnations do not provide a good primer. Other impregnations are preferable.
- An easy-to-display primer provides an outer fin as a cover layer 24 of thermo-treated beech, the thermal treatment can be carried out at a temperature up to 200 ° C.
- the outer layer 26 provides secure and lasting protection through firm adhesion, and either transparent or translucent, exposes the wood of the underlying cover layer 24 to leave the desired aesthetics of a wood window visible or a suitably colored and shaped one Foil covers the underlying wood, but it remains recognizable a wooden window with all the good features of a wooden window.
- the difference to metal ore Kunststoffoffppern remains clear and yet can be achieved with the invention, the alleged advantages of these wood replacement window both in terms of installation, maintenance and costs also.
- both profiles 10 and 12 with all cut-outs and grooves and the protective layers inside and outside prefabricated ready for use in series and cut to length rods 15 made available for immediate further processing or for further processing by third parties through trade.
- a pair of frame profile and wing profile rods of six meters in length can be for example a single-leaf window (see. FIGS. 3 and 4 ) with dimensions of up to approx. 2.25 m2 or a mounting dimension of up to approx. 1.5 mx 1.5 m or another proportional distribution from sides to width dimension in a rectangular cross-section.
- a glass groove 32 for a glazing without glazing bead In the sash profile 12 is romeein sake a glass groove 32 for a glazing without glazing bead.
- a water collecting channel 40 is formed below, which is required in the standard profile, although mainly in the lateral and lower part of the window, but also without damage around, so even up around, can run.
- Only for a drainage of the water is below a drainage hole 54 to install later still in place or in the finished window, but this means no major additional effort. It may be the drainage hole 54 at a certain marked point 11 of the rod 15 with prefabricated. Then, the end processor will ensure that this marked location 11 is provided during cutting for the lower sash section. However, the subsequent attachment of drainage bores 54 at the most favorable location resulting before installation is preferred.
- the upper edge of the glass groove 32 receives in prefabrication on each of the two edges a fold 34 for a possible glass seal.
- a gear 30 is provided on the outside of the sash profile 12.
- This groove 30 is also used in the assembly of the sash profile 12, as will be explained in more detail below.
- Another groove 36 serves to receive a center seal and near the solid wood cover layer 28, a small groove 38 is formed for receiving a rollover seal.
- the plywood for the frame 10 is pre-profiled.
- two grooves 56 and 58 which in addition to connecting adjacent frame profiles 10 in a window corner 50 (FIG. Fig. 2 ) as well as the groove 30 can be used, as will be explained later in more detail. If two wings 12 are to be “coupled” together to increase the window area, the grooves 30, 56 and 58 can also be used to connect adjacent frames. Opposite the gear groove 30 of the sash profile 12 is in addition to a groove 46 for fitting assembly.
- a circulating water collecting groove 48 can, as out FIG. 2a can be milled out of the plywood 42 or it will, as is FIG. 2b recognizable, in a likewise marked on the rod 15 area 11, which is provided for the underside of the frame profile 10, under the all-outer covering layer 24 a non-rotatable block 52 of "Purenit” (see utility model DE 200 00 984 and DE 201 06 628 ) is inserted, from which the water collecting groove 48 is formed in order to ensure the longevity in this respect.
- the same effect can also be achieved by the use of a tempered wood layer 24 (such as with the mentioned "Thermowood”).
- a tempered wood layer 24 such as with the mentioned "Thermowood”
- the miter surfaces are sealed in the usual way, coated with glue and initially with a corner bracket ("Hoffmannschwalben") provisionally held and then screwed crosswise perpendicular to the corner edge with two wood screws through the grooves 30 and 58 firmly together, the screw heads in the Grooves 30 and 58 are sunk.
- a corner bracket (“Hoffmannschwalben") provisionally held and then screwed crosswise perpendicular to the corner edge with two wood screws through the grooves 30 and 58 firmly together, the screw heads in the Grooves 30 and 58 are sunk.
- the frame 10 can be completely completed in this way around, the two wings are first connected to the two side woods of the sash 12 and the top remains open to insert a disc in the groove 32 to be able to.

Abstract
Description
With the previous color coatings of solid woods on the outside, the weathering side has not been able to achieve a satisfactory, long-lasting surface protection. The wooden windows have to be repainted within a few years. For this reason, the proportion of wooden windows has been decreasing continuously for years. Plastic windows, on the other hand, are increasing or decreasing because they do not have the deficiency of insufficiently long surface protection and because the plastic windows are less expensive.
It is therefore an object to continue to exploit the advantages of wood for a cost-effective production of windows by less experienced craftsmen and turn off the previously regarded as an obstacle shortcomings or disadvantages over other materials.

The solution according to the invention, in contrast, according to the appended claims leads to a cost-effective and easy-to-handle solution which makes wooden windows attractive again and in particular enables the production of maintenance-free wooden windows.
Wood is statically resilient. For Kunstoffenster, on the other hand, a steel reinforcement is necessary. Wood is the warmer material as a natural product. A complex and expensive post-treatment of the wood surfaces can be omitted.
According to the wood optics with decades of durability of the outside, namely the weathering side of the wood window is paired.
Further details, features and advantages will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment shown in the drawing and from the claims.

The window frame or the
The
In the
For mounting the
