Hand-operated machine tool (10), with a housing (12) which receives an output shaft (20) which is drivable in rotation and which carries a cutting, in particular disc-shaped, exchangeably chuckable tool, the output shaft (20) being capable of being stopped by means of an axially displaceable stop pin (36) which passes through a passage bore of the housing (12) and can be actuated from outside, characterized in that the diameter/length ratio of the passage bore (35) and of the stop pin (36) is lower than 1:8, in particular equal to 1:5.
  2. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the passage bore (35) guides the stop pin (36) directly, without a guide bush.
  3. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop pin (36) carries, approximately centrally, an O-ring (43), in particular in an annular groove (41).
  4. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop pin (36) carries a collar-like widening (39) at its lower end (38) pointing into the interior of the housing (12).
  5. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop pin (36) merges at its upper end into a neck (47) and there carries an attachable cap serving as a touch contact (51).
  6. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop pin (36) carries, between the cap (51) and the transition, in particular its shoulders (45), a compression spring (47) which is supported at the top on the cap (51) and at the bottom on the housing (12).
  7. Hand-operated machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the passage bore (35) is a stepped bore, the larger diameter of which is open outwards and into which the cap (51) can be pressed.
