Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a dust suction nozzle, and more particularly to an improvement of the waste collection efficiency.
  • Vacuum suckers are waste collection devices that contaminate the surface to be cleaned. They are therefore the object of many improvements aimed in particular to improve such collection.
  • He is moreover known, in particular by the document DE1815059 a rectangular nozzle having at the rectilinear front face of the nozzle, a plurality of parallel suction channels extending under the sole of the nozzle.
  • a rectangular nozzle having at the rectilinear front face of the nozzle, a plurality of parallel suction channels extending under the sole of the nozzle.
  • Such a nozzle promotes suction not only under the nozzle but also slightly in front of the nozzle through the front openings of the channels. Thus, bulky waste can be sucked through such channels.
  • teardrop devices which, by definition, are located at the sole , to be in contact with the surface to be cleaned.
  • WO-A-99/35951 discloses a vacuum cleaner according to the preamble of the independent claim.
  • the present invention aims to remedy these problems with the aid of a nozzle which makes it possible to present the two functions of suction of large waste and collection of son and fibers in a simple and economical way.
  • the present invention is achieved with the aid of a suction nozzle open to the surface to be cleaned by at least one suction channel, the front edge of the nozzle having at least one front orifice intended to provide suction in one direction. substantially parallel to the surface to be cleaned, said front suction port being connected to one of the suction channels, the underside of said nozzle also having at least one blade carrying a tear-off fabric, characterized in that said blade is located in said suction channel wherein is connected the front orifice, said blade being arranged in the underside of the nozzle extending from one edge to the other of the channel, so as to provide an upper space in the channel for large waste entering the the nozzle to pass over said blade.
  • the nozzle is of substantially triangular shape, having two lateral edges forming the tip of the nozzle and a rear edge, the front orifice then being formed in the tip of the nozzle.
  • the nozzle advantageously comprises two suction channels arranged along the two lateral edges forming the tip of the nozzle, the two channels joining in the front part of the nozzle, the blade carrying the pull-son connecting the two side edges in the joining part of the two channels .
  • This structure allows to provide a large suction zone towards the front of the nozzle, the blade carrying the pull-son located in this area to add a mechanical action in the heart of the suction.
  • the blade is substantially parallel to the rear edge of the nozzle, thus improving the scraping efficiency of the soil by this blade.
  • the nozzle comprises a hood having a soil viewing area located under the sole, said area including the blade carrying the pull-son, to control that waste does not remain blocked in the nozzle at said blade.
  • the present invention relates to a vacuum nozzle 1.
  • a vacuum nozzle 1 has a connection tube 2 connecting to a vacuum cleaner body, not shown, including a motor-fan capable of creating an air intake flow.
  • the connecting tube 2 opens at the sole 11 of the nozzle in contact with the ground 4 to be cleaned, via a conduit of connection 3.
  • This duct opens on the suction channels.
  • These channels are generally configured according to the shape of the nozzle, in order to optimize the suction efficiency.
  • the suction channels as represented by the dots 10, extend in part along the two edges 5, 6 forming the tip of the nozzle, as well as in said tip of the nozzle after joining in the central part of the nozzle.
  • the angular zone forming the tip of the nozzle comprises a front orifice 7 intended to ensure suction in a direction substantially parallel to the surface to be cleaned.
  • the nozzle has retractable brushes actuated by a pedal 8 pivoting.
  • This pedal 8 is accessible at the hood 12 of the nozzle.
  • the latter in this embodiment, has essentially only aesthetic functions and environmental protection.
  • the suction channels are closed on the one hand by an internal structure made in part during the manufacture by molding of the sole, such as the parts of the suction channels extending along the edges and opening through the opening 7, but also by an upper part 14 which, according to the embodiment, is a viewing area made by making transparent the triangular piece attached to the sole.
  • Such a feature allows to view the waste 16 of the surface being cleaned.
  • this viewing area may cover a larger field than that of the suction channel, in order to adjust the target of the waste to be extracted from the ground.
  • the viewing area has a magnifying effect, having a convex shape.
  • the waste under the viewing area is magnified, improving the visualization of the surface to be cleaned.
  • the zone of visualization of the surface being cleaned is preferably of triangular shape, recalling the general shape of the nozzle, which makes it possible to associate the viewing area with the advantages of use related to the triangular shape of the nozzle (easier handling especially).
  • the cover has, directly above the viewing area, either a simple opening or a transparent window made, for example, of plastic.
  • the part 14 also has a rear part in relation to the end of the connecting pipe 3.
  • the Figures 2 and 4 present the nozzle seen from below.
  • the sole 11 of the nozzle has several suction channels: a channel 19 substantially parallel to the edge 6 of the nozzle, a channel 20 substantially parallel to the edge 5 of the nozzle. These channels meet in the central region 21 of the nozzle.
  • the channels 19 and 20 have front openings, that is to say in the vertical flanges of the sole, respectively 36 and 35, allowing a lateral suction substantially parallel to the surface to be cleaned.
  • the triangular shape is completed, at the rear of the nozzle, by a solid portion 40 having two locations 42 means promoting the displacement of the nozzle, which may be either PTFE-type pads or wheels.
  • a blade 23 extends in this region 21, from the edge 5 of the nozzle to the edge 6, thus defining a front channel 18 and a rear channel 22, the front channel 18 opening at the tip of the nozzle by the front opening 7.
  • This blade 23 has a zone 24 where is disposed a pull-wire fabric as it is known per se.
  • this blade 23 is to connect the edge 5 to the edge 6 as a bridge, by providing a space between the face opposite the zone 24 and the upper part 14.
  • This blade is preferably parallel to the rear edge 9 of the nozzle . It is indeed interesting that this blade is oriented perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the nozzle. frequent. Or the main thrust axis of the nozzle, given the location of the connecting tube 2 and the connecting pipe 3, results in a "natural" displacement of the nozzle in a direction perpendicular to the rear edge 9.
  • a second zone 28 carrying a pull-out fabric may be provided on a border of the channel 22, symmetrically to the zone 24 carrying the pull-son.
  • the channels 19 and 20 have, respectively, thin scraping blades 46 and 45 respectively extending from the edge 6 and the edge 5 towards the other edge.
  • these blades are fixed and coming from the sole extending substantially parallel to the rear edge 9 over a distance of half the width of the channel.
  • the space between each small blade is shallow and defined by an edge having a slope oriented towards the channel, in order to minimize the possible areas of jamming waste.
  • the sole 11 also has locations 25, 26 (cf. fig.3 ) for retractable brushes 55, 56, 57 (cf. Fig. 2 and 4 ), these brushes advantageously bordering the suction channels.
  • the nozzle In operation, the nozzle is moved on the floor 4 to be cleaned, preferably in a direction perpendicular to the rear edge 9, the user directing the nozzle to the areas to be cleaned by using, even unconsciously, the tip of the nozzle as a guide.
  • the tip of the nozzle By the presence of the front opening 7 in the tip of the nozzle, the largest waste can be sucked without the need to lift the nozzle to collect them.
  • this waste passes over the blade 23 carrying the pull-son, in the direction F. They are then directed to the body of the vacuum cleaner leaving the nozzle through the connecting pipe 3.
  • the zone visualization 14 can optionally control that some waste does not remain blocked at the blade.
  • the son and fibers remaining on the ground are solicited by the pull-son of the blade 23 which has the advantage of being bordered by the two channels 18 and 22 suction.
  • the solicitation of the soil by the pull-son will, in both cases, immediately be followed, in the movement of the squeegee, by an aspiration.
  • the positioning of the tear-off blade 23 in the thrust and aiming axis of the nozzle makes it possible to exert the action of the pull-out actually where the user wishes it.
  • the second zone 28 carrying the pull-out allows, when the nozzle is moved backwards, to create, in this direction of movement, two processes of solicitation of the soil followed by suction: one by solicitation of the son-puller of the zone 28 followed by aspiration by the channel 22, the other by solicitation of the pull-son of the blade 23 followed by suction by the channel 18.
  • This double bias allows to increase the harvesting efficiency of the fibers and yarns on the floor to be cleaned according to the direction of rearward movement of the nozzle, it being known that the user tends, when moving the nozzle towards the rear, to lift the nozzle , contrary to the forward movement which, he, tends to drive the nozzle in the ground, thereby increasing the efficiency of extraction of fibers and son by the pull-son.
  • the tear-off zones 28 and 24 consist of inclined bristles placed face to face with the inclination of the bristles towards the channel 22 for the two zones.
  • the pull-out 28 hooks the hair while the pull-son 24 lets out the hair to the channel 22 and in return it is the pull-son 24 which hangs the hair while the The puller 28 releases the hair to the same channel 22.
  • the suction zone at the front can in some cases where the pull-son 24 would not succeed in hanging the fibers and / or would release a packet of fibers, to be able to suck and avoid leaving this waste on the ground.
