Claims (8)

  1. Door handle fitting for doors (12) or lids of vehicles,
    having a carrier (10) with at least one fixing point (14) which is to be fixed to the inside (11) of the door
    having a pivotable or rotatable handle (20) which can be mounted manually in the carrier (10) from the outside of the door
    and having a locking cylinder turret or turret blank which can also be mounted adjacent to the handle (20) from the outside of the door, said elements being referred to hereinafter as turret (30) for short,
    while the turret (30) is in turn capable of being mounted directly in the carrier (10) by interlocking engagement (31, 32),
    the interlocking engagement of the turret (30) on the carrier (10) being adapted to be secured by means of a manually operable retaining member (34) that acts on the carrier (10),
    besides the retaining member (34) an integrally formed bolt (25) is also mounted on the carrier (10), said bolt having a bolt end (26) and an actuating end (27),
    on actuation the bolt end (26) moves in conformity with the actuating end (27) and travels between a locking position (25.1) and an unlocking position (25.2),
    the turret (30) having a receptacle (36) for the bolt end (26) into which the bolt end (26) moves in the locking position (25.1) and
    the bolt (25) being spring-loaded at least in the direction of the locking position (25.1) of its bolt end (26),
    characterised in that
    the bolt (25) is a rotary bolt the rotation axis (19) of which sits on the carrier (10)
    and in that the actuating end (27) of the rotary bolt (25) at least partially covers the retaining member (34) in the locking or unlocking position (25.1, 25.2).
  2. Handle fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that a tilting spring (40) acts on the carrier (10) at one end (41) and on the bolt (25) at the other end and on both sides of a top dead centre position (43) it determines two stable end positions of its point of engagement (42.1, 42.2) acting on the bolt (25),
    namely the locking position (25.1) of its bolt end (26) on the one hand and the unlocking position (25.2) of the bolt end (26) on the other hand.
  3. Handle fitting according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the retaining means (34) for the turret (30) on the carrier (10) is simultaneously part of the fixing point (14) of the carrier (10) to the door (12).
  4. Handle fitting according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the position which is comfortably accessible from the inside (11) of the door for the actuating end (27) of the bolt (25) is arranged in that part of the door where the retaining member (34) for fixing (14) the carrier (10) to the door (12) is also located.
  5. Handle fitting according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the rotation axis (19) of the rotary bolt (25) is arranged substantially perpendicularly to the plane of the door.
  6. Handle fitting according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the rotation axis of the rotary bolt extends substantially parallel to the plane of the door.
  7. Handle fitting according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bolt (25) is spring-loaded (40) in the direction of its unlocking position (25.2).
  8. Handle fitting according to one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the carrier (10) is provided with an insert (39) which receives the turret (30) and/or which accommodates the bolt (25) and/or on which the retaining member (34) for the turret (30) and carrier (10) engages.
