Definitions
- the invention relates to a signaling device, in particular a Signal light and / or an acoustic signaling device after the Preamble of claim 1.
- signal lights In signaling devices, in particular signal lights is the Use of LED as lighting already widespread.
- LEDs on a circuit board arranged, in turn, for driving the LED will be contacted.
- Object of the present invention is to reduce the burden of the connection of the circuit board to appropriate Reduce connection elements.
- This task is based on a signaling device of initially mentioned type by the characterizing features of claim 1.
- an inventive Signal device characterized in that on an LED-bearing Printed circuit board front side connecting contacts are mounted.
- the installation of the signaling device is significant simplified. After inserting the circuit board in the The dome can have a connection element Connecting piece to be placed on the cap, where it for positive connection with the front-side terminal contacts of PCB comes.
- connection contacts on the circuit board are hereby preferably at the one for connection with a dome provided socket element facing the signaling device Front side provided.
- connection of the frontal connection contacts corresponding connection elements via a solder connection produced. After assembly is thus a fixed Contact connection, which has a permanent function guaranteed.
- connection for the production these connections conceivable, in particular an adhesive connection, a locking connection and / or a crimp connection.
- adhesive connection for the production these connections conceivable, in particular an adhesive connection, a locking connection and / or a crimp connection.
- these or more different Connection types for terminal contacts may be useful to for example, to reduce assembly costs.
- connection elements in the base element preferably two-sided, i. of the page the dome and from the opposite side accessible trained. This way, at the Connection of the base element with the dome Positive connection between the terminals of the circuit board and the connection elements located in the base element getting produced. Following this can be done by the opposite side of the corresponding desired Connection, for example, made the solder joint become.
- This advantageous accessibility of Connection elements in the base element can, for example be accomplished by the base element in Area of the terminals is open, i. either is completely open or in the area of the connection elements has a breakthrough.
- connection contacts with the connection elements
- connection elements for example, are connected with a spring contact.
- connection between Connection contact and connection element particularly easy through Place the base element on the calotte with Printed circuit board manufactured without further follow-up measures become.
- the spring effect of the spring contact ensures in this case, a reliable fit even in certain Dimensional tolerances.
- connection element is preferably a contact wire used.
- a contact wire is a very inexpensive Connection element and can also easily in the desired shape to be bent.
- the contact surface of such a contact wire is in this case preferably arranged at its periphery. In this way can the contact surface over a certain length of Wire and a certain part of its circumference extend, so that with respect to a front-side contacting a much larger contact area is available.
- the printed circuit board is preferably designed in such a way that that the front-side connection contacts a the associated Connection element adapted profile. so customized shapes or profiles ensure a flat surface Contact between connection contact and connection element.
- contact wire In the case of contacted at its periphery contact wire is the profile of the frontal contact of the Printed circuit board accordingly preferably with a formed semicircular cross-section, wherein the radii the wire on the one hand and the semicircular profile on the other hand, if possible, chosen to be substantially the same become. This results in a surface contact over half the circumference of the contact wire.
- the profile of the terminal contacts is that first drilled circular holes in the circuit board become. These can be replaced by an appropriate coating, for example, by electroplating or other known Measures are contacted. Following this can by appropriate trimming the circuit board corresponding part of the holes are removed.
- the PCB for example, on the center line of this Holes cut, milled or otherwise Measures are taken. The remaining half-holes with semicircular cross section then stand with their Lateral surface as inventive frontal Connection contacts available.
- two Printed circuit boards each equipped with one side of the LED and / or provided other electronic components.
- a one-sided assembly of the printed circuit board is essential easier than the double-sided assembly. For one two-sided light emission can then two printed circuit boards to be used with their backs abutting.
- LED In addition to the LED come as other electronic components
- electronic circuits for controlling the single LED or groups of LEDs in question For example, electronic circuits for controlling the single LED or groups of LEDs in question.
- the circuit board advantageously at least a part of the associated Drive electronics carry, so that the number of required connection contacts is reduced.
- the single figure shows a perspective view an embodiment of the invention.
- the single figure shows in detail a partial illustrated signal device 1, in this case in the form of a Signal tower 2, of which only the lowest segment 3 and a associated socket element 4 is reproduced.
- the base element 4 serves for the lower termination of Signal tower 2 and includes the contacting of a Printed circuit board 5.
- the base element 4 continues to serve as Adapter for any version of sockets to which it is attached can be placed by means of a bayonet lock 6.
- Such a version can, for example, cable penetrations and terminals for the screwing of a cable or else have a socket or plug for a plug connection.
- the electrical contacts are here via contact pins a version not shown in detail and the contacts. 7 the base element 4 produced by positive engagement.
- the Contacts 7 and / or the corresponding contact pins For this purpose, if necessary, they can be resilient.
- the contacts 7 extend into the region of a Recess 8, which mounted in a base element 4 Plate 9 is attached.
- the plate 9 can in the Base element 4 to be formed.
- the plate 9 forms In a sense, a floor for the signal tower 2 at attached base element 4.
- the contacts 7 are in the form of bent wires 10 formed, the wire end according to the invention Form connection elements 11.
- the connection elements 11 are in this case arranged parallel to each other above the recess 8.
- the circuit board 5 is provided with semi-cylindrical recesses Mistake. These recesses therefore form according to the invention Terminal contacts 12.
- the lateral surface of this semi-cylindrical recesses are this coated according to the invention with conductive material and with corresponding conductor tracks on the circuit board 5 connected.
- connection contacts 12 and the connection elements 11 are considerably simplified.
- the circuit board 5 is inserted into a dome, which in the present case consists of segments 3 of a signal tower 2.
- the circuit board 5 is in this case with all required LED or groups of LED and possibly further electronic Components fitted.
- the LED or other components can also be applied with so-called SMD technology be.
- the required for driving the LED Control electronics can be partially or completely on the Printed circuit board 5 or housed in the base element 4 become.
- the energization of the LED is done via printed conductors in conventionally formed on the circuit board 5 become.
- tracks can be provided, to a connection from inside the signal tower.
- electrical or electronic Components such as another acoustic To enable signalers.
- This further component or This further signal generator can, for example, on the End face 13 opposite end face of the circuit board 5 are attached.
- the the Connection elements 11 forming wire ends can hereby be resilient.
- Terminal contacts 12 easily accessible, so they at Need soldered, glued or otherwise in addition can be fixed.
- connection contacts according to the invention forming recesses 12 to the cylindrical outer shape of the connection elements 11 forming contact wires 10th customized. This results in a good peripheral flat contact with comparatively large contact surface with the contact wires 10. The contact surface extends in this case over the entire thickness of the circuit board. 5
- connection contacts 12 can be made in the preparation of the circuit board 5.
- These Holes are then added to their perimeter plated through, i. coated with conductive material, possibly with the same operation produced in the figure not shown Conductors of the circuit board 5 is connected or in this passes. Subsequently, the circuit board 5 trimmed, for example, halfway up these holes cut off.
- the inventive training with frontal Terminal contacts 12 simplifies the installation of such Signal device considerably.
- the invention is not limited to the use of Base elements 4 in conjunction with one of segments 3 limited existing signal tower 2.
- the invention Advantages arise rather in a variety differently designed signaling devices.
- the Contact elements 11 are not on the realization means Contact wires 10 are limited but can also otherwise, e.g. via spring tongues or the like be formed.
- Essential is the frontal Contacting the circuit board 5, through which the inventive simplification of manufacturing costs results.
