Abstract

L'invention concerne un contenant, notamment un conteneur. S'agissant des contenants (conteneurs) classiques, le verrouillage des conteneurs empilés est actuellement effectué manuellement, ce qui est un inconvénient et présente un grand risque de sécurité pour les travailleurs dans le port et sur le bateau. En outre, la juxtaposition ou l'empilement précis des conteneurs (C1, C2, C3, C4) dépend de l'habilité du conducteur de grue. Il n'existe aucun dispositif d'ajustage à cet effet. L'invention vise à produire un contenant (conteneur) conçu de telle façon qu'il puisse être verrouillé horizontalement à d'autres contenants (conteneurs) similaires sans intervention manuelle et simultanément positionné avec précision à l'emplacement prévu. Pour pouvoir positionner avec précision le contenant et le verrouiller horizontalement aux contenants (C1, C2, C3, C4), le contenant est pourvu, sur ses faces externes, d'un moyen, par exemple, de glissières de guidage (24) en U qui s'accrochent aux moyens identiques des contenants adjacents.
