Description
The invention relates to a floor cleaning device with a bottom plate and a Handle holder, with the base plate a pedestal, with which the handle holder is connected, and pivotally mounted on both sides of the base about pivot axes Has pivot plates and a locking device for locking the pivot plates in a position in which their undersides at least approximately lying in a plane, is provided and the locking device, having at least one locking bolt for locking the pivot plates, can be opened by means of an actuating part.
Floor cleaning apparatus with pivotally mounted pivot plates, on which To clean a surface a floor cleaning cloth is attachable, are in different Embodiments known. With such floor cleaning equipment are not only floor surfaces but also wall surfaces, such as tiled Walls or ceiling surfaces cleanable.
When cleaning a surface, the pivot plates of the bottom plate are in one Position locked, in which their bottoms at least approximately in one plane lie. After releasing the locking device, the bottom plates after down (in the direction away from the handle holder direction) pivoted toward each other become. A cleaning cloth attached to a cloth holder hangs in this mutually pivoted position of the pivot plates loosely after below and can in this position by hand or by means of a designated Facility washed out and wound up. By the pivotable mounting of the pivot plates can also be such Floor cleaning cloth be attached to the bottom plate, which at his Upper side has sack-like tabs on both sides, in which the lateral ends the swivel plates are insertable.
A floor cleaning device of the type mentioned is for example from the DE 199 16 556 A1. As a locking device for the pivot plates here is a biased by a spring locking bolt available, the two-sided Has latching lugs. The latching lug on one side engages behind one Shoulder in one of the swivel plates, which lie on the opposite side Latch engages behind in the locked position of the pivot plates Shoulder of a spring-loaded button mounted in the second pivot plate.
If this key is pivoted against the force of a spring, comes Shoulder of the button disengaged from the locking lug of the locking bolt, resulting in this shifts due to its preload and the other detent the shoulder on the other pivot plate releases. The swivel plates can thus pivoted against each other in the pressed down position of the button become. For pivoting the pivot plates, it is in this known Floor cleaning device thus required, at the same time the button against to push down the force of the spring and the handle of the floor cleaning device to pull up, creating a relatively complicated movement is required.
Similar floor cleaning appliances, which also have the features mentioned are also known from DE 40 11 713 A1 and DE 198 44 389 A1. The disadvantages mentioned in connection with DE 199 16 556 A1 occur here too. For locking the pivot plates in their parallel position must also overcome the spring force of the spring-loaded locking bolt become.
The object of the invention is an improved floor cleaning device of the beginning to provide said type, in which a cumbersome movement to unlock and pivot the pivot plates is avoided and which can be made robust and have a long life can. According to the invention, this is achieved by a floor cleaning device with the Features of claim 1.
To unlock the pivot plates are in a floor cleaning device according to the invention the locking bolt by means of the operating part in their opposite moved the locking engagements retracted position in the pivot plates. In this opposite the locking engagement retracted position pivots the pivot plates about their pivot axes freely relative to the base become. To shift the locking bolt here is a link guide provided for each lock at least one backdrop and one in the Has engaging gate pin, one of these two parts of the slotted guide on the locking bar and the other of these two parts at one of the actuating part in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the bottom plate sliding guide part is arranged.

Schwenkachsen 3 der Schwenkplatten 4.The
In
aufweisen.About a more detailed below locking device are the

By pivoting the left in the figures arm of the as
