Abstract

The invention relates to a method for changing sets of top rolls, lateral rolls, and a bottom roll, and mounted in chocks of a welding stand of a continuously operating longitudinal tube welding machine. The inventive method enables the rolls to be changed faster, using less appliances. Said method comprises the following steps: the top rolls are lifted; a dismantling/transport means is placed beneath the top rolls; the top rolls are lowered onto the dismantling/transport means and deposited on the same; and, once the top rolls have been removed, the dismantling/transport means is laterally withdrawn.

Kleinere Rohrschweißmaschinen weisen meist Walzen und Einbaustücke mit niedrigen Gewichten auf, so daß die Einbauten häufig noch von Hand gewechselt werden. Bei Schweißmaschinen für große Rohre, von z.B. 600 mm Rohrdurchmesser aufwärts ist ein Wechsel von Hand nicht mehr möglich und es werden entsprechende mechanische Hilfsmittel benötigt. Bei einer aus der DE-AS 1 602 315 bekanntgewordenen Methode des Walzenwechsels werden die Walzen einzeln an ein Seil angehängt und mittels eines Hebezeuges aus der Maschine herausgehoben. Um die Walzen vom Walzenständer zu lösen, muß vorher eine Steckachse herausgezogen werden. Die Steckachse und deren Verbindung mit der Walze verlangt allerdings eine aufwendige Konstruktion. Der Wechselwagen 26 läßt sich gegebenenfalls (nicht dargestellt) mit einem vorbereiteten neuen Walzensatz bestücken, so daß nach dem Ausbau des verbrauchten Walzensatzes durch z.B. eine quer zum Gerüst 1 durchzuführende Verschiebebewegung der neue Walzensatz in Position zum Einbau in das Gerüst und gleichzeitig der alte Walzensatz in eine Lage gefahren wird, aus der beispielsweise ein Hallenkran den Abtransport übemehmen kann.Fig. 5 shows the roll expansion phase in which the guides 8 are released from the top rollers 3, 4 and raised by means of the jobs 9, 10. Claims (5)

  1. A method for changing roller sets that include upper rollers (3, 4), lateral rollers (5, 6) and a lower roller (7) and are supported in installation elements on a stand (1) of a continuously operating longitudinal seam pipe welding mill, wherein the upper rollers (3, 4) are raised, characterised by
    a) moving a disassembly transport means (16) under the raised upper rollers (3, 4),
    b) lowering and depositing the upper rollers (3, 4) onto the disassembly transport means (16),
    c) lifting the lateral rollers (5, 6) and the lower roller towards the disassembly transport means (16) until centring mechanisms (22) on lateral roller retainers (11) engage in centring holes (23) in the disassembly transport means (16) and
    d) withdrawal of the disassembly transport means (16) with the complete roller set after the upper rollers (3, 4) have been released.
  2. A longitudinal seam pipe welding mill having a device for changing roller sets that include upper rollers (3, 4), lateral rollers (5, 6) and a lower roller (7) and are supported in installation elements on a stand (1) of a continuously operating longitudinal seam pipe welding mill, wherein the upper rollers (3, 4) can be raised, particularly to carry the method according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    - the upper rollers (3, 4) are supported in guides (8) and are adjustable with a motor,
    - the disassembly transport means is constructed as a bridge (16) that grasps from above an upper roller carriage (17) arranged on a carrier rail (21) and is displaceable thereon, and grasps the lower rollers (3, 4) from below with a projecting arm (20), and
    - that a displacement device (18) provided outside the welding stand (1) is attached to the upper roller carriage with the suspended bridge (16).
  3. The longitudinal seam pipe welding mill in accordance with claim 2,
    characterised in that
    the lateral rollers (5, 6) are supported in lateral roller retainers (11) and are adjustable via a motor, and the lateral retainers are constructed with centring mechanisms (22) for the bridge (16) that bears the upper rollers (3, 4).
  4. The longitudinal seam pipe welding mill in accordance with either of claims 2 or 3,
    characterised in that
    the lower roller (7) is arranged on a height-adjustable table (15).
  5. The longitudinal seam pipe welding mill in accordance with any of claims 2 to 4,
    characterised in that
    the complete installation changing assembly (27), comprising the bridge (16) with the upper rollers (3, 4) deposited thereon, the lateral rollers (5, 6) and the lower roller (7) is able to be acted upon by an ejection device (28).
