The invention therefore relates to an ergonomic and heated toilet seat, consisting of a shell having the general shape of a bucket type car seat, intended to replace the WC glasses used now. This seat consists of a rigid shell and ergonomic, double-walled, generally in the shape of a bucket-style car seat. This shell is composed of two parts (2, 6) connected by an articulation (4) of the type hinge or whatever. The first part (6) constitutes the seat while the second part (2) constitutes the seat back. The backrest (2) is a new element, nonexistent on glasses of current toilets. It is intended to increase comfort and correct the position of the body while using the seat. The seat part (6) of the shell is connected to the back part (2) by a movable articulation (4). The seat (6) is therefore movable relative to the back part (2) and relative to the toilet bowl (14) and can be folded down to the vertical position. The part backrest (2) is stationary and integral with the toilet bowl (14) and is fixed to the latter by fixing means (16) existing under the lower part of the backrest (2).
The back part (2) also contains the cover (3) intended to obstruct the opening (5) evacuation in the seat (6). The cover (3) is connected to the backrest (2) by a movable hinge or other type joint (12) and can be folded down to the position vertical during the use of the WC and it is housed in a window (11) provided for this purpose in the backrest part (2) of the seat. The cover (3) is held in the vertical position by a magnet (1) arranged in the window (11) and which acts on a plate (10) of ferrous metal fixed on lid. The shell is rigid and hollow, having in its mass a single cavity (20) common to the two parts (2, 6) which compose it. The upper wall (a, a ') of said shell as well as the bottom wall (b, b ') have air exhaust orifices (13, 22) which allow the exchange of air between the cavity (20) existing inside the shell and the outside. The upper wall (a, a ') of the shell is covered with a comfort covering (19) produced in an elastic and compressible material, of polyurethane foam, elastomer or any other material having the above characteristics. Said covering (19) is glued and secured to the upper wall (a, a ') of the shell. This coating (19) is intended to increase the comfort of the seat. A connection neck (18) is provided at the rear part of the backrest (2). The back part (2) of the shell is connected by a conduit (9) for connection to a installation (7). This installation (7), of the hand dryer or hair dryer type or equivalent, produces hot air during its operation which it injects, through the duct (9) of connection mentioned, in the cavity (20) existing in the mass of the shell. Hot air heats the shell and escapes through the orifices (13, 20) made in the walls (a, a ', b, b') of shell.
In another embodiment intended for public use, counterweights (20) can be attached to the seat part (6) to allow the vertical tilting thereof period out of service. In another embodiment, electrical resistances, connected to the network electric, can be installed in the cavity (20) of the shell in order to heat the air existing in said cavity, thus making it possible to replace the installation of hot air.
Le dispositif selon l'invention est destiné à être installé sur les cuvettes de WC existantes en remplacement d'actuelles lunettes de WC.The device according to the invention is intended to be installed on toilet bowls existing to replace current toilet glasses.
